What customization settings required for automatic availably check,

Dear Guru's
While doing Sales order my availability check should be carried out, but it is not happening automatically, what settings required for the automatic availably check. Pleasantly we are doing it manually.

Hi Kalyan,
ATP check requires following configuration setting.
1) The availability check is indecator needs to be switched on at requirement class lavel.
2) The availability check is indecator needs to be switched on at schedule line lavel.
3) Set availability check 02/ 01(individual / daily requirement) in Sales Genral plant view of Material master.
4) Set the checking group in the MRP3 view of Material master.
5) Above all a plant must be assigned to the line item in the sales order.

    1. If you are selling the Service , Use Material Type u201CDIENu201D and for billing with SD module ,u have to use MM with HR module like (Time & Material ) ie…..Expense recording (PR05) then PRRW and PRFI.
    2 .If vendors provide service for you and you can procure the service and pay to vendor.
    The configuration required are:
    2.1. Define organization status for service category
    SPRO u2013>MM-> ESM->Service master- >Define organization status for service category
    2.2. Define Number Ranges
    SPRO u2013>MM-> ESM->Service master- >.Define Number Ranges
    2.3. Define Service Category
    SPRO u2013>MM-> ESM->Service master- > Define Service Category
    & you can do assignment of cost object ( cost center, project, sales order) with co.code with G/L account in OKB9 t.code and in t.code OBYC account assignment of GBB,WRX with G/L.
    ***After above you can create Master data as Service master AC03
    & the transactions are
    A. Create PO ME21N (Acc,assment cat. K or P or C as required and item category D) and enter other detail with service master.
    B. Create SES w.r.t. PO in ML81N
    C. MIRO w.r.t. SES
    D. Payment to vendor in F-53

  • BADI for Automatic Availability Check

    Hi all
    I was working with the BADI CRM_ATP_INFO_BADI. In the method TRIGGER_EXECUTION I set the parameter CV_TRIGGER_AUTOMATICAL = 'X'. But in CRMD_ORDER, an error is coming: Availability check: ATP check could not be carried out.
    I have checked out in the OSS notes and I got a relevant note 810342. But whatever was mentioned in the correction instructions were already done.
    Can anyone plz help me with this BADI?

    Hi,
    For Strategy 60 , Availablity check is carried out "Check against planned independent requirements" , inthat case Only planned independent requirements are taken into accout and Confirming. There is no ATP check logic.
    Do u mean to say, system has to confirm , considering the requirement qty from  future Receipt  .
    I think , Check against a replenishement lead time (RLT) is possible only  ATP available  check.

    QM Control Key
    Certificate type
    Target QM system
    Tech. delivery terms Indicator.
    Please suggest me in which case to be used this fiels. Is it relivant to Quality Certificates.

    All meaning are
    QM Control Key :
    If you activate the indicator for QM in procurement in the material master record at the client level, you must also store a control key at the plant level for quality management in procurement.
    Certificate type :
    Certificate types applies to the Certificate processing in procurement  &  Certificate creation
    Target QM system :
    whether the vendor's verified QM system, according to vendor master record or quality info-record (for a combination of vendor/material) meets the requirements for QM systems as specified in the material master
    -  If you activate the indicator for QM in procurement in the material master record at the client level, you must also store a control key at the plant level for quality management in procurement. If you want Procurment control then accordingly define Control Key.
    -  If you want Vendor's perticular certificate for Material then you have to define Certificate type.
    Also, you have to maintain Material, Vendor's Info record at plant level.

    In general in the material master record you can, hide display or optional for a field, but there are certain feilds should be mandatory for material creation,like base unit of measure,material description,and price contro,l valuation price,valuation class,without this you cannot create a purchase order.
    If you dont want to the price control means go for mateial type  non valuated material NLAG. because the price control is mainly linked with the material  valuation. based on the the price control  the price difference will post either sock account or price difference account.
    Goto>MM>LOGISTICS GENERAL>MATERIAL MASTER>FEILD SELECTION >ASSIGN FEILD SELECTION TO FEILD SELECTIN GROUPS(OMSR) >CHECK YOUR FEILD REFERENCE FOR PRICE CONTROL (MBEW-VPRSV) FEILD REFERNCE GROUP IS 32* > AND GOTO MAINTAIN FEILD REFERENCE FOR DATA SCREENS (OMS9) >ENTER  YOUR FEILD SELECTIN GROUP 32 (PRICE CONTROL )AND  CHOOSE MM01 MAKE IT FROM REQUIRED  TO OPTIONAL.

    Whenever a user creates/changes data to/from the DB table , using the maintenance screem, the data should be saved into a customizing TR.

    Hi there,
    Any config change will be saved under a transport request TR. Also tables are of 2 types: Customizing table & application table.
    Changes / new entry in a customized table are transportable. You will gte a TR when the customized table values are changed / new entry.
    But application table entry / changes are non transportable. You willnot get a TR when saving the data.
    To know it, go to SE11 --> give the table name --> display --> attributes --> Delivery class. Delivery class A is application table, C is customizing table.
    Also some standard tables like MARA, VBAK are not allowed to maintain. If a table is allowed to be maintained, table maintaience allowed is checked in the above.

    PLease advise me what changes are required for OSS note 456507 (Assign the function groups QOWK or ORFC in the authorization object S_RFC to tRFC/qRFC users).
    I’m thinking of just going with the following additions to Role
    AAAB – Cross Application Auth Objects
    S_RFC
    Activity – 16
    Name of RFC - *
    Type of RFC - *
    But wanted to check what the implications of doing such a thing were, are there any negative points that you can think of opening up the access as above, as opposed to what was suggested in the OSS note?

    Hello Sandhya,
    S_RFC is needed in case of making any RFC calls.
    Normally it is needed  for users that are mentioned in RFC destinations.
    As such mostly these users are system/communication users or super users.
    Without giving access to function groups through S_RFC successful RFC call can´not be done.
    Now the value of field name of RFC can be * but only for those users which are really global super users. In case you need this authorization for any selective functionality as in you case only for function groups QOWK or ORFC then you should try to  restrict the access. Negatiity is only that in case of * the authorization access increases but for system or super users you dont need to worry too much really because with system/communication users no one can login and the super users will have sap_all generally. Also their passwords will be a well kept secret so that a miususe can not be made.
    By global super users I mean users which are used for various types of activites.

    How i can use the replication   to provide a complet active / active Design ?

    It depends what functionalities you want to use on CAR.
    For example:
    If only plain authentication is needed, you can install two servers independently and just configure replication between them (they just need IP visibility to replicate configuration). NAS clients can contact servers in  round-robin or you can share load on two servers in some other way.
    If you want CAR to perform session management and dynamic IP address allocation, than you need some cluster solution, as two servers must have synchronized state of sessions and consistent administration of addresses allocated from a pool.

    Check your RAM , even for 4.7 version you need 1gb ram for better speed, 80gb sap only will occupy, for other storage you need to maintain another hard disk, or add new hard disk with your existing hard disk to make it 120 or 160, if its 6.0 then sap only occupies 6.0, then you need some more space for additional data, you cant browse internet on sap-server (which you installed), for internet and general purposed you need to seperate the hard disk, in case of 6.0 and you want to use both internet and sap you need to have 240-300GB HDD & 2GB ram, inter core2duo processor, 3.15ghz processor etc...and if its 4.7sap and other Operating system you need to have minum 160GB hard disk and 1gb RAM for better speed and access...
    clarify if any doubts are there, system performance improves with good RAM memory...

  • Longer time for Material Availability check while creation of prd order.

    Hi guys,
    I am facing a weird problem while creating production orders thru CO01.
    I enter the component and plant and I am also using the forward scheduling option.
    for some reason, SAP is taking a long time for material availability check when I hit the release button.
    Sometimes its taking more than an hour. Its happening with few specific BOM's, and I have checked the master data but I could hardly find a problem in master data.
    Can someone suggest me some tips ??

    Hi,
    Please check the Availability check control maintained for Components it should be 01 or 02. Also check the issue storage location maintained or not. You can maintain issue storage location in BOM in Status/lng text tab in Production Storage Location.

    I am trying to raise one event from one HR transaction (Create Appraisal). But same event id is being generated always in the standard program. So I tried creating one Z program and called the function module SWE_EVENT_CREATE and commit work. Still it is generating the same Event id always (00000000000000001). I tried to trace the event but it is not tracing anything, I am just getting one ON and one OFF. Can anyone please suggest me any additional customization is required for HR transaction’s workflow triggering.

    That's slightly misleading I would say.
    SWEHR1 tells you which object types and infotypes it is possible to have events created for. It is SAP data and you should definitely not modify it.
    SWEHR2 tells you which event creations SAP have set up already. It is SAP data and you should preferrably not modify it.
    SWEHR3 is your customer event linkages. If you want to have events created for an object type/infotype combination SAP hasn't defined, or you want additional events or other events for a combination SAP has defined, this is where you should perform your customizing.
