One of biggest learing company in my country is giving "Adobe Certificate of Achievement: Adobe Web Site Designer" for one of their programs in learning.
I never heard for this before and cant find on Adobe site.
And also on web I can find enything about "Adobe Certificate of Achievement".

The directory/path is the path to the root folder and, in most cases, should be left blank...

Problems with Adobe Acrobat links on a web site

Can anyone help me solve the following:
1) LINKS: I have a series of Acrobat files (15) connected with each other by more than a thousand links. I made them few years ago for a CD of a religious nature (for free distribution). The links assume that all the files they point to are in the same directory. On the CD all worked perfectly.
I'm now opening a web site and, even if my Acrobat files are in the same directory of the server, when I open the site each file is loaded on a different “Temp”. directory. This occurs even when the files are "packed" in one *pkg,pdf file. In this case, all packaged files are opened by a single click but are still loaded each on different directory and thus the existing links don't work.
Combining all files in a single one, would entail redirecting all links and also result into a huge file manageable only if the "visitor" had an optical fibre connection.
I work with Acrobat Standard 8.1 and with Windows XP professional.

Facebook has not been loading properly for me since Feb. 22/14. Can you please check what is wrong with Firefox. The web-site Facebook works fine on Safari.

I've had issues with Facebook not loading certain areas of the web-site correctly or fully since Feb. 22. When I first go onto Facebook I am on the home page "news feed". Thing is when I click on the tab at the bottom of the news feed that says "see more", nothing is happening. It refuses to open the feed up to older posts which friends or myself have posted. Only about 6 - 8 posts at the max show on that home feed. That's it.
My other issue, also in Facebook is when I go to access my "messages". First click on the tab "messages" brings up a white page. Then if I refresh the page to see if it will load, the messages page loads very weird. It shows the last message I may have replied to at the bottom of the screen, but over lapping on top of the list of previous messages to the left of the page. Plus the page appears extremely different than it should. Just like it's been re-formatted or whatever.
Since these 2 issues started on Saturday afternoon I've switched over to the Safari browser on my iMac. On that browser Facebook is performing properly, as it should be. It's not overlapping messages. Plus the home feed isn't refusing to extend for me so that I may view older stories or posts by friends. All appears fine while accessing Facebook on the Safari browser. Not so while on Firefox. I am running the most up to date version of Firefox. "27.0.1" Plus I have a habit to clear the browser's history daily & restarting the browser as well as my iMac. So I do not believe those are my problems. I feel there may be something you guys there at Firefox should look into on this.

Hi i was wondering can photo shop be used as a mock up tool for websites ? 2. Can you slice a psd web file that can be used for making html files of a web site ? i took photography related classes so I'm teaching myself on the design from basics and use photoshop for other then editing photos

How can I delete old web site designs from Muse CC 2014.1. (13 Aug. 2014)?

Having recently installed the latest update to Muse and been obliged to re-name my web site file I thought it only appropriate to clean up the desktop. In DW there is a message window where a site can be deleted but I do not see a similiar method in Muse.

You can look your computer for the .muse file of your site and delete it. Once you have deleted it, try to open it from Muse. You will get a pop up, which says the file/site is missing, would you like to remove it from the list. Click yes and it will be gone.

Paypal and general web site design

I can't believe it! After spending a good hour trying to figure out how to purchase a subscription using Paypal...then spending another 15 minutes trying to find the Support page, I've have had it. This is one of the most unfriendly, complicated web sites I have ever encountered...fluffy pictures and text, not much substance.

Is the adobe support web site designed by monkeys?

I've been using Adobe tools for years, so I know a few things about how obtuse they can be, but when I just wanted to cancel a free membership to Adobe.com's cloud service, I thought it would be fairly easy. The circular logic on the site is ridiculous. A software design company should be embarrassed to have such a poor support site.

What happend for the "lock" for sercure web sites?

I used to get the "lock" Icon in the bottom right of me browser window indicating a secure site for doing purchases. It gone!

The lock icon has disappeared, but not the security. I imagine the old lock icon was too easy to spoof and so not doing any good.

You now click on the space to the left of the location bar and follow the information from there. Whilst using this forum you can try that now, you will then see a padlock.

I have developed 2 of these mobile websites on the DoCoMo and
AU by KDDI in full screen. not for sure for other countries as
there are not enough phones that accept flash. Fun but time
consuming to make these.

Web Site Design Software?

I'd like some software recommendations for designing/creating websites.
I've got no experience but any good software that's got a decent tutorial or instruction manual would be fine. Freeway Pro looks good but it's expensive, so I'd like something more reasonably priced for now, and then move up to it a bit later, perhaps.

It depends on what kind of website you want too make. The more I use iWeb, the more I like it. However, it is limiting in what it can do (no forms, no HTML edits, and more). RapidWeaver is a good program that is like iWeb with a lot more features. I know several people that really like it.
For a more complicated type of design program there is Dreamweaver.
