What is best way to update Spry menu Bar linkages throughout site?
I am new to Dreamweaver CS3 and Spry DataSets; however, I easily created multi-level linkages using the Spry Menu Bar tool. Is there a way that I can cause any linkage change(s) to be proliferated throughout the pages of my web site. This menu bar is the main navigational bar in my site. Currently, I am finding myself going to each page to update the linkages and I know that is the wrong way to accomplish this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. degraylady

Creating multiple Spry menu bars in one site
I've been creating a website and I am required to use multiple templates to manage all the different sections of the site. To make it much less of a hassle, once I created one template, I simply saved that template as another template so I would not have to start all over again. On the first template I created a spry menu bar with a certain amount of buttons. And because I created the other templates with that template, those templates had the same menu bar containing the same settings. The problem is, because of the specified settings of the spry menu bar, if I change the amount of buttons from the original to one less, the whole bar on that template will get off center and messed up because the settings for the menu bar are not set to that certain amount of buttons, but if I change the settings to suite that amount of buttons, then the settings for all the templates change and that messes up the other menu bars on those templates because they have a different amount of buttons. Currently my templates all contain 10 buttons and I am wanting to create a new menu bar with only about 4 - 6 buttons. I thought going up to insert and inserting a brand new menu bar would do the trick but when I did that it inserted a menu bar that had all the settings of the already-created menu bar, (ie same background images, and hovers, etc.) as well as the width which, because the width is suited for 10 buttons, it does not properly make the default 4 button menu bar center correctly. And if I try to change the settings on this menu bar then the same thing happens with everything changing and getting messed up.
So after this long explanation, my question is, how can I insert multiple spry menu bars into one site that are not correlated with each other in terms of all the settings so that when changed, will not affect each other? I am guessing I am having this problem because I created all the templates from one template so they are all interlocked, but the page that I tried to insert the brand new menu bar on was not created from any of the templates and was the first page I made at the very start.

If you click on band choir or elementary you will see the menu bars with 10 buttons that are all interlocked in terms of settings. Also, I'd like to note that if I delete a button in one template, it does not delete that same button in the other templates, nor does it add a button to the other templates if I add one. Only the physical appearance changes because the settings are meant for only one amount of buttons. Sorry for the novel!Alright well I just tried to use 2 complete different templates. I created one brand new template from scratch, added the menu bar, gave it an ID of "band", and configured it to suite 10 buttons accordingly. Then I started off from scratch again with a starting html page with a different css style sheet and added the menu bar and gave it a different ID of "choir" but the settings of the two different bars still act as one set of settings! I dont know how to fix this problem. Please tell me what to post if anything will help you. Im guessing the solution is very simple but I have tried everything.

Hello, I have two templates that I am using. Both have a horizontal menu bar across the top of the page and then two Vertical Spry Menu Bars down the left hand side of the page - one above the other. On one template, all menu bars are working correctly. On the other template, 2 out of three are working correctly. Not sure what's happening here. The spry menu bar that is not working correctly is under "Books & Materials" heading. The menu bar is supposed to turn green when you mouse over it, but instead everything turns white and looks like it "disappears". I have no idea why it would work on one template and not the other. Or for that matter, why it is working on one vertical spry menu bar, but not the other on the same page. You might also want to consider uninstalling Adobe Flash... I currently don't have it installed and haven't needed to install it. Most websites are now coded in HTML 5 so that the iOS devices can actually visit them. I can still watch YouTube videos et al. About the only thing I can't do is play Flash games... but they're a resource hog anyways.
Try going without for a day or two and see just how many sites you visit no longer require it. A lot of people keep it installed out of habit, not out of necessity. If you have Flash installed, visit a site and it's out of date, it will tell you to update your Flash. What it won't do is tell you is that had Flash not been installed, it would have used the HTML 5 code instead. Think about it... if an iOS device can't run Flash at all... it can't visit this site if it were written only to use Flash. What site would eliminate such a huge portion of their market base? You'd be surprised at how many sites use HTML 5. Uninstall Flash and see for yourself. -

you can update over the air with strong wireless signal, or by connecting to a computer running iTunes. Either works well. If you do the update over the air, be sure and attach your iPhone to a wall outlet so you have a solid power supply and don't risk the battery dying during the update.
The iTunes approach installs a much larger file because of the connection, but if you have not updated since 5.1 that might be a better approach...replace the entire operating system instead of patching.
Either way, backup the iPhone yourself just for your own protection in the off-chance something should go wrong...a little paranoia while updating is a good thing -
What is the best way to update your reference images?

We are using MDT 2013 to deploy Windows 7x64. We have an automated process to generate our reference images using Powershell and Hyper-V. It works great.
We generate new images once per month, and I would like to know the best way to update the .wims in the deployment share.
Can I just copy the new .wim file into the deployment share with explorer and overwrite the old one? I assume this method will retain the old GUID in the MDT console. Will new deployments just start using this new .wim as soon as it is coped? Do I need to
update the deployment share?
Do I need to import a new OS through the MDT console? Doing this I assume will require me to select the new .wim in my task sequence, since the newly imported OS will have a new GUID.
Also, these .wim files are used in our test deployment share before our production share. Can I just copy/paste from one share to the other? What does this do to the OS GUID? Does it get a new one or does it retain the old GUID from the original share?
Appreciate any feedback.As long as the replacement WIM is the same version number, and the same WIM Index, I would be OK with just robocopy'ing the install.wim over the old version.
Replication between the test and production shares should use the same GUID's so you should be OK.

If you change the delivery date after you have send the PO, then the statistical delivery date is still containing the old delivery date., as long the order is not send this date is changed together with the delivery date.
Vendor evaluation is performed based on statistical delivery date.

From Kappy (note: with this method, you will need to update to the present OS version using the appropriate Combo Update from Apple Downloads.)
Boot from the OS X Installer Disc One that came with the computer. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities (Installer menu if using Panther or Jaguar) menu. After DU loads select the startup volume from the left side list then click on the Erase tab. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) then click on the Options button. Select the one pass Zero Data option and click on the OK button. Then click on the Erase button.
Note: You can skip the Zero Data option if you are not concerned about removing sensitive personal data from the hard drive. If you choose to skip this part of the process then it is possible for others to recover data from the hard drive. The Zero Data procedure will prevent others from getting access to your personal information.
This process will take 30 minutes to several hours depending upon the size of the hard drive. After formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Now complete the OS X installation. At the completion of the installation do not restart the computer. Instead just shut it off. The next user will be presented with the Setup Assistant when they turn on the computer just as it would if new out of the box.

Spry menu bar won't update when published
I am building a dreamweaver webpage though a template.
for some reason it will not change the spry menu bar to update the changes made to the links on it.
that and the links won't work on the website (i uploaded it to a test website).
I am not sure if it is the same problem.
I changed the links from site to document relative.
I also checked the codes in http://validator.w3.org/check and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ .
I also read this link and it didn't help me http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/paths-dreamweaver-templates.html .

I am uploading to a godaddy server. Is there a way I should be saving things (links and such) that I might be doing wrong? am I naming my links incorrectly? how do I make them so they will work once uploaded.
I followed the suggestions that you made and it looks like it is there but for somereason when i preview the page in a browser or live view the background image (parchment) doesn't show up on the screen.and the spry menu bar only comes up as an unordered list. I am not sure what would be causing this.

Spry Menu Bar is not doing what I want it to do
I am attempting to work with the Spry Menu Bar, which was starting to work, but then I made the mistake of trying to resize it using the resize handles around the menu. And now I can't figure out how to get it back to the right size. I've tried undoing and looking through the code, which is NOT my forte, but I can't find any clues as to how change the size. And it will not display any menu other than the very first one, even though the whole menu bar is spanning the page, with plenty of room to display all 4. What is going on??

Even though it's included in older versions of Dreamweaver, Adobe formally abandoned Spry last year

I'm using the standard CS5 Spry Menu Bar (Horizontal) in Dreamweaver. I have it set up exactly the way I want with CSS. However, I've very little experience with Javascript, consequently I'd like to ask anyone here for some help in modifying this aspect of the Spry Menu Bar. I'd like it to 'click-open' and not open when the mouse is over it. I've tried to change the delay variables in the code to something that has a longer duration in milliseconds; unfortunately, this tends to cause some bugs such as the menu re-opening once the mouse is no longer near it and other such bugs.
The ideal solution for me would be to have it open when it's clicked on once. The reason I need this is because the menu appears over some buttons - there's no way around this for me, it's the layout I absolutely must have. Although the buttons don't overlap with the menu, they are very close and it is annoying when your hand slips a little and the menu pops up over it all.
I'd appreciate any help at all, thank you.

First of all, I'd recomend resetting the iPod. Do this by pressing the 'Menu' and 'Center" buttons for 10 seconds or until the Apple logo appears.
If this doesn't work, then it sounds like a hardware fault.
To identify the issue, if you have one, try plugging the iPod into a speaker through the dock. If this works, then the issue is with the headphone jack. If not then the logic board is dead. If the iPod is less than a year old, then it can be repaired by Apple for free. Just book an appointment for the Genius bar.
If not then, you could see about sending it to an iPod Repair Company, such as my own. A replacement headphone jack would cost £30.00 in the UK, including next day delivery. Other companies you could try would beUKiPodRepairs, but we guarantee to beat any quote that you get.

Best way to update individual rows of a Table?
I've taken a look at some examples, though haven't gotten any clarification on this. I am looking to have something close to a listbox or table to where I can update just a single column of row values at a 1 time per second pace. I am looking to display our data-acquisition values in a table or listbox. The single listbox seemed to work good for this, but I was unable to use row headers to list the channel names next to the channel values. I was thinking about connecting the cursor values of two list-boxes to do this, but didn't find any info on this for the single list-box.
I have a few questions:
1) I have a 1D array to where I want to use that array of data to constantly update the first column (with a multitude of rows) of a table. I am looking for the best route so as not to take up too much processing time in doing this.
What is the best way to update individual rows of a table? Invoke Node "Set Cell Value" ... or is there another method?
2) Why is it that after every other iteration the row values are erased?
Also, for adding additional strings to the original arrray ... is it best to use the "Array Subset" and then the "Build Array" function, or the "Array Subset" and "Insert Into Array" function?

Classic race condition. dump the for loop and p-node and just wire the 2D array to the table terminal.!
I'm not seeing the race condition. What I am seeing is the table emptying after the last element was written to it on every other run. I saw watched this with highlight execution on.
But I'm in full agreement with just writing to the terminal. It is a 1D array, so you will need to use a build array and transpose 2D array in order for it to write properly.
