There is no seperate delivery type for the intercompany process you can use LF or NL based on the process.
If you are using Stock transfer order (STO) delivery type NL will be consider.
If you are doing with normal process Sales order then Delivery you can use LF , you can copy the standard one you can rename it as oer your requirement.

Problem in changing follow up document Transaction type using CRM_COPY_BADI
Hi,
I am creating follow up document ( Service Contract ) to another service contract. Now Based on a condition, in CRM_COPY_BADI, I have to change the follow up document type forcefully to Service Contract Quotation.
Menas, eventhough I select ZSC, I have to change it to ZSCQ using CRM_COPY_BADi.
Can you please help me, how to do it.
Thanks
SandeepYes, Rajesh is right. You can use action profile for that kind of stuff. For the action just use the method call COPY_DOCUMENT. And of course you then create several action which trigger this method and in action parameters define which action is triggerred when.

Document types Inventory Mgmt.
What are the different document types in the inventory documents?
i.e. in GR/GI/TP/ST etc.
Also where to assign the number ranges to all these document types?Dear Monica
In Inventory management following are the three main documents types.
1)Material document
2) Accounting Document
3) Physical Inventory Document
Whenever you post any document through MIGO , MIRO or physical Inventory material & accounting document is created .Accounting document will be created only in case of valuated transaction.
For both these documents & for diffrent transactions say MIGO ,MIRO or physical inventory documents you can assign number ranges as per your requirement in customizing.
I hope this reply will be helpful to you & if so please reward points,

Issue With Sales Document Type in BW.
Dear Experts,
I am facing an Issue with Sales Document Type(Object name is 0DOC_TYPE).
when i am loading data from R/3 to BW It is converting Sales Document type as follow
Sales Document Type in R/3 Sales Document Type in BW
OR TA
CR G2
DR L2
I check with an ABAPer and he told that there is conversion exit for this Object so that's why it is converting when sending to BW. But the user wants to see in Report same as it is in R/3 like OR, CR DR ... etc.
I have done some investigation and found that the conversion exit (CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_INPUT and CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_OUTPUT) are converting the values based in the table TAUUM
The staructure of TAUUM is
MANDT(Client) SPRAS(Language) AUART(Sales document type (not converted) AUART_SPR(Language key for sales document type)
and values are
100 E TA OR
100 E G2 CR
etc....
The same Conversion exits(CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_INPUT and CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_OUTPUT) and table TAUUM are available in BW as well. So i thought I can Use InfoObject 0DOC_TYPE by changing it's conversion Routine as AUART(which runs based on the above mentioned conversion exits).
but the the problem is table TAUUM(Pool Table) does't have any data in BW.
So can anyone tell me is there any option to load data into table TAUUM from R/3 or any other option to solve this issue.
Your ideas will really help's me.
Thanks in advance,
Dara.Hi Venkat,
Thanks a lot for your immediate response.
The InfoObject 0DOC_TYPE was without conversion exit by default. but when data coming from R/3 it is converting and sending to BW So that's why i am planning to use conversion exit "AUART" in the info Object.
I checked data in R/3 using RSA3 it is showing sales document type as "OR" and for the same transaction data when i checked in PSA it is showing as "TA".
Could you please let me know if there any other options.
Thanks in advance,
Dara. -
Hi,
We use document type SA for multipuspose, customer to customer balance transfer, adjustment in AR,GL postings e.t.c. Now its requirment to use different document type for customer tranfer posting and related adjustments. I want to know the impacts if we change document types and what would be proper document type that should be used for customer related ajustments.Hi
you should have different document type for different scenarios, more so if you are on new gl, in which document type is the first setting for splitting. Further, ideally, DG is the document type mostly used as std for transfer posting of customers. You can also choose to define your own document types for customer txn.

Table to see pricing procedures assigned to document types
Hi Folks,
Greetings for the day,
How can i see the pricing procedures that are assigned to document types.
1. Is there a specific table name?
2. Is there a tcode where we assign pricing procedures to document types.
For example if there is pricing procedure "abc0000", how can i know what are the different document types that are assignes to this pricing procedure.
I would like to know the table name or transaction code.
Thank you in advance.
Best wishes,
SarathFirst of all, you should know where we assign the pricing procedure. If you come to know this, you would not have opened this thread. As already suggested, you can see all pricing procedures assigned to the available combination in table T683V.
In one way, you can check this. Execute VBAK table, input all document types with some validity period where you can see the related pricing procedure. But here, if you have not created any document with a document type, then this table won't show. So you have to be sure on this.

Hi Gurus, i am new to SAP,
please guide me in
Configuring document types and number ranges for PR, RFQ, PO, Quantity Contract, Value Contract and Scheduling Agreements with release.
Thank is Advance
KapilYou have to maintain No Ranges for PR at Materials Management->Purchasing->
Purchase Requisition->Define Number Ranges
Define number range interval
Choose type of number assignment (internal or external)
You maintain the associated number ranges in the step Define Number Ranges under "Purchasing".
SAP recommends that you accept the settings defined in the standard system. In this case, no action is required on your part.
<b>Document type</b>
Purchase Requisition->Define Document Types
Steps
1)Create new document types
2)Define the item interval
3)Allowed Item category.
4)Define allowed follow-on document types
5)Assign document types to a number range group
Similarly for all the processes you can maintain Number ranges and Document Types at IMG menu path at Purchasing.
Reward if helpful

Hello,
What kind of data/document types can be stored in MDM? For example, voice, PDF, Custom types, electronic data types?
My client want to send data electronically from handheld device to the MDM system. Can it be done? Any ideas?
Thanks,
ShaikilHi Shaikil,
What kind of data/document types can be stored in MDM? For example, voice, PDF, Custom types, electronic data types?
My client want to send data electronically from handheld device to the MDM system. Can it be done? Any ideas?
MDM can accept files of format XML, .csv, excel, access, directly from database, delimited text, Images, Pdfs, Text blocks, Copy blocks, HTML blocks etc. If you can get anythings which is among these, then MDM can accept it. Or else the normal practice ( as in the case of IDOC's) is to use a middleware such as XI and get the format in an MDM acceptable format.
Hope it helps.
Thanks and Regards

Maintain Number Ranges for Controlling Documents
In this IMG activity you create number ranges for business transactions in Controlling or change existing settings.
For every posting in CO the SAP System generates a numbered document. The document numbers are unique to each controlling area, since each number is assigned only once.
In CO, there are no legal requirements for a continuous assignment of document numbers. To improve performance, after each restart of an application server, a maximum of 100 document numbers for each number range are not assigned.
Every transaction that you carry out on the controlling area level has to be assigned to a number range group.
A number range group, in turn, includes two document number intervals:
An internal interval for all documents to which the user did not explicitly assign a document number;
An external interval for all documents where the document numbers were assigned by the user, or which are brought into the SAP system from a non-SAP system (for example, through batch input) and the original document numbers are to be retained.
If no external document number is given during posting, the SAP system uses the next open number from the internal number interval of the transaction it belongs to.
Requirements
You have system authorization for maintaining number ranges. (authorization object S_NUMBER).
Complete the IMG activity Maintain Controlling Area.
Note
You define the document number range in CO independently from the fiscal year.
Standard settings
The SAP System includes standard assignments for controlling area 0001. You can copy these assignments to other controlling areas. You need to maintain the number range groups only if you require other assignments or other number range groups.
Recommendation
1. SAP recommends that you create separate document number ranges for plan and actual cost transactions so that, when reorganization programs run separately for plan and actual data, the number ranges can also be reset separately.
2. For transactions seldom used, such as repostings at period-end closing, you should not create individual number range groups. Otherwise, note that no more than 100 document numbers are assigned for system performance reasons on each day that such a transaction is started.
3. If you work with several controlling areas which are to use the same number range intervals, it is easiest to carry out the definition for one controlling area only. Choose Copy to transfer your settings to other controlling areas.
Activities
1. Check whether the standard settings for controlling area 0001 satisfy your requirements.
If you are not going to work with controlling area 0001, you can transfer the number ranges to your controlling area by choosing Copy.
2. If necessary, create new number range groups.
3. Maintain the respective number intervals for the number range groups you created.
Ensure that the number intervals do not overlap with those of other groups.
4. Assign the business transactions that you wish to use to the respective number range groups.
For settlement documents you have different t.code for number ranges.
Thanks,

Sending manual Email creates a follow up document of type Complaint.
Here are the steps which I have followed:
1. I login to IC WebClient and create a complaint. Close the Browser.
2. Login back to the ICWebClient. Click on Inbox and open the last created complaint. Click on Email (On the NavBar) and manually send an email to any user. Click on End button and close the browser.
3. Login back to the ICWebClient. Click on Inbox and do a search.
You see there is another complaint document created which is actually a follow up document for the complaint which I have created. And this follow up document stores the email sent. <i>The problem is that two documents of type complaint are getting created. One a main document and the other follow up document which stores the email sent.</i>
What we want is if the agent sends an email for a complaint, then we want all the emails to be stored as part of that complaint transaction document.
Am I missing any setting or is this is the standard behavior of SAP.

Xchange Rate type changed in the follow on document getting posted from MM
Hi,

The rate of exchange captured is M-CL while creation of the Purchase order. On posting the MIGO/ MIRO, the exchange rate type is correct viz M_CL .
But when the follow on document in the FI module is generated, the Exchange rate type is changed to M.
Can any one please tell me as to what can be the possible issue and wht are the configuration details be checked in the system or whether there is any special configuration of the Exchange rate type maintenence at country level and at transaction code level.
Thanks in Advance.
ManishHi Amam,
Have checked in the system the tocdes and the table as mentioned by you.
The issue here is that the system is picking the default M as the exchange rate type defined is blank . I want to specify the exchange rate type for a particular (country chile) for a particular document type.
Is there any setting to set the exchange rate ype at country / company code level for a particular document type .

What are the sources system will pick the document type while creating invo
hi
I would like to know how system will pickup the doucment type while creating invoice in vf01.
i have taken off the fields f1, f2, from the document type. in billing sub tab. so The moment when am creating billing system automatically displaying F2 invoice doucment creation. What are the sources for this.
thanks & Regards
Rack129Hi,
Hope you have maintained u2018Delivery relevant billing type F2u2019 and u2018Order relevant billing type F1u2019 in the billing tab of the Sales document type in VOV8.
If you create delivery related billing, the system will pick F2. This is controlled in Item category (VOV7). Billing relevance in Business data of Item category decides whether this is delivery related or order related. u2018Au2019 for delivery related billing; u2018Bu2019 for order related billing and so on.
Item category is determined by this combination: Sales document type + Item cat group + usage + higher level item cat.

K Bharathi
