I have iphone 4s from sprint and its motherboard is damaged so please provide me what to do it is not in warranty and i am in India now.thanks in advance.

No, the logic board needs to be replaced. But, here's your ptoblem: No authorized service center, In India, will touch a US iPhone. Thus, your only option is a third-party repair shop. But, since Apple does not sell iPhone parts, many on the market are counterfeit. In other words, if you go to a third-party repair shop, you take your chances as to what you end up with.
If you can't send the phone to someone in the US, that can go to an Apple store for you, & do an out of warranty exchange...cost is US $199...then sell the phone for parts or go to a third-party repair shop & hope you don't end up worse than you are now.
    Those are your options.
    Good luck.

  • What type of passwords are considered by Apple?

What type of passwords are considered by Apple? What do you mean by 'not common' password?

Very little, but you can increase the information available by enabling debugs on the controller.

  • Reinstall PSE11 on same computer. What do I have to consider?

During cleaning my computer unfortunately I uninstalled important items for Photoshop Elements 11. I can not start PSE anymore. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall PSE11 and what do I have to consider doing so. I would reinstall to the same computer - will I get problems with the serial number?

You should not have issues with the serial number.  Start by uninstalling and then reinstalling and see where that gets you.

  • Customer Aging Report(without reconciled transaction)-what types of documents are considered?

    Hi Friends,
As per my knowledge,Customer Aging Report consider only those documents(ar invoice,ar downpayment, incoming payment-payment on a/c,ar credit memo) which are open and showing balance due and standalone JE against Customer.
As I cross checked,I found those standalone JE where Customer and round off account are considered as debit, credit are not considered by 'Customer Aging report'.
So,I just want to know what are all the logic based on which SAP B1 standard report 'Customer Aging ' (without reconciled transaction ) consider the documents????

Which SAP B1 Version and Patch is under use at your end ?
There were issues in SAP B1 regarding reconcilliations in versions prior to 2007 series.

  • What are the specifics of my iPad warranty?

My boyfriend gave me my iPad as a gift and paid extra for the replacement warranty. Now that the new iPad is out I want to exchange mine for it. But we cannot figure out what the warranty entails. Where can I get this information?

The warranty doesn't cover trading it in, it will only cover manufacturing defects and associated repairs/replacement. If it was bought from an Apple store then you have 14 days from date of purchase to return it for a full refund and you can then buy a new one. If it was bought from a different store then you will need to check their returns policy.

  • What Mini to buy when considering viewing 720p QT trailers?

I have used the G4 mini in my theater room several weeks now and am very pleased. So now that I know it works, oh so better than the HTPCs that I had built, I want to place a Intel mini into the theater room. My G4 mini is fine with 480p trailers, and they look pretty darn good. My present Infocus 4805 projector will someday be replaced with a projector that will do 720p.
Ok, that said, I hope that one day I will be able to download 720p content from Apple. To view 720p QT trailers the specs say I need a 1.8 Intel core duo processor. I figure that may also apply to playing back the 720p content from iTunes. What I am curuious about is if people with a 1.66 Core Duo have had sucess with playing back the 720p trailers without any stutters? I am just wanting to put the money into additional memory if I can instead of buying the faster processor. From what I understand the aTV has a much slower processor, and if it might be able to play possible future 720p content then maybe, just maybe, I can get the 1.66 Intel for my theater system. If not, well, I guess I will spend the additional money. Oh, I sure do wish Apple would make some noises about if they are going to release a new mini soon with the Core 2 Duo.
    Thanks for the help.

iMac24   Mac OS X (10.4.9)   Home theater more fun since changing from PC to Mac Mini.

Bear in mind, the RAM in a Mac mini is NOT a user-installable part. While the act of opening the Mac mini itself to install RAM does not void the warranty, if there's ever any trouble with your Mac mini that requires it to be sent in for repair, Apple may or may not honor the warranty. The best option is to custom configure a Mac mini online or have an Apple Authorized Service Provider upgrade the RAM for you.

  • What does applecare's 90-day limited warranty cover?

ok so recently on august 12 , 2012 i was sitting on the couch on sears.comon my ipad 2 looking at shoes. and then my little brother comes and knocks it out of my hand an it cracks the camera area so i took it to the genious bar and i payed $249 to echange for a new one. (since i got this replacement ipad i have never let it go to 0% of battery so yeah just incase) last night i plugged in the ipad 2 and then when i woke up it wouldnt turn on? it still makes the noises of when i plug it in and when i plug it back out but the screen is completly black it does not turn on an its been charging all day. i even tried out the charger on my aunties' ipad 2 and it worked for her.i went to school and came back it still wouldnt turn on. i still have the receipt that they gave me when ever i went to the genius bar and it says i have 90 days of warranty i also called the apple care number and they said most likely theyll give me a free new one i have an appointment for tommorow. i dont know its just something in my mind thats doubting it would be free but i read what warranty does not cover and it's none of the things on that maybe if this has happened to you or you got a free exchange or you work there please help?

Just that; defects in the device due to faulty components or an error in manufacturing the device. Any problems caused by the user - the device being dropped, for instance - would not be covered.
If the normal steps of restart/reset/restore don't cure the problem, then Apple will almost certainly give you another replacement unit unless they would happen to discover evidence of such user-caused damage.
    Regards.

  • Re: What do I get from my HDD warranty claim?

I can see lots of posts with the same problem I had and lots of talk of invoking warranty but I can't find anyone explaining the pitfalls of doing this - unlike most forums the search function only seems to check titles not content (?)
I ask because I recently had my warranty claim accepted - but the lack of information is absolutely breathtaking.
Hope you can help - there's nowhere else to turn ^$^
    *This is the problem:*
I got no email communication after the acceptance with a case ref.
The case ref led me to a case document containing nothing except what I told them - even if I added my email to the search.
The first time the doc came up it had a high-toll phone number in it - I didn't note it because I was hoping for some emails - the number has now disappeared.
I checked daily and found no more information - at some point I stopped adding my email to the search - I now find this was a mistake - a mailing label has now appeared - WITH NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER.
I desperately need to know if they are going to fix my Canvio 2GB or not. A replacement is no use to me - I'd rather cut the damn thing apart and try to get at the disk directly myself.
This is critical - it's not a toaster or a TV etc. it's really sold as a safe. If you buy a metal safe and it goes wrong the manufacturers will get it open by hook or crook and give you back your precious documents, manuscripts, family photos etc. (even if you have copies elsewhere) - they won't trash the thing and send you an empty one in exchange!
This is the only place to turn that might work (presumably because it costs Toshiba nothing).
    Thanks.
^$^ The Toshiba site is useless - most of the relevant links don't work, most of the ones that do take you round in circles, there is NO contact address or phone line unless you want to talk to the Press team (of course). It is a shambles - an amateur one at that.

    Hi Dr Lamp,
I replied to you first but the forum software chose to overwrite it with my reply to Francesco_1 (pretty amateurish coding) - fortunately I'd kept a copy (on a disk not made by Toshiba).
Thanks for replying. You are right about the issues but I still need Toshiba to provide a proper contact point.
I have not contacted the UK service because that is not the team that is handling my case - the guys involved are in Regensburg (they of the disappearing telephone number) - it's pretty obvious from the UK service page that money not warranties are involved with their input.
I do have the original Warranty document but responsibility for the data integrity is specifically excluded - it even cheekily says "you are responsible for backing up data" - in what? Another Canvio that is equally unreliable perhaps? Should I have two more to back up the first two? and so ad infinitum?
It seems more positive where it does say it "covers the parts and labour required to restore your disk to full working order. Toshiba will at its option, repair or replace any defective ... parts".
However in legal terms this does NOT mean they are committing to any efforts AT ALL to retain the data in usable form - it allows them to make the decision that suits them - if it takes them 2 minutes to fix such problems then they would probably rather spend 1 minute reformatting it.
Companies will always take the quickest, simplest and shortest route to fulfilling their legal obligations...If the process of restoring 99% of the data means the disk is only 99% in full working order they would almost certainly just format it.
As it happens there is a strong possibility that the USB to Serial interface only needs replacing - the disk itself might be fine.. but I'm not sending it anywhere without some assurance that they will make reasonable efforts to retain data.
Since (like a safe) you wouldn't buy it unless the data was worth 10-100 times the cost of the hardware - it follows that the warranty is at least 90% useless - at least unless they are prepared to give some more information.
I would like to suggest they have a go but return it to me if they fail so I can rip the thing apart and access the serial interface directly - *but there is no contact point!*
    Regards.

  • What are the criterias to consider while deciding when to run the mrp?

    Hello Friends,
Actually i was just thinking,if any company wants to run the mrp for planning than how to decide, when to run the mrp(daily, weekly, monthly).
One of the factor, while deciding this could be the raw material procurements, right?if they procure raw material once in a month than they should run the mrp once in a month.(even we can control this by keeping monthly lot size,if you run the mrp every week).
What could be the other reasons?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Jitendra Chauhan

    Dear Jitendra,
As said by our other forum friends it depends on the business requirement.
In one of my project as the client were recieving monthly plan for their production MRP was carried out monthly.
It can be based on the production plan or say sometimes the maximum lead time for producing a product.

  • What makes a iphone 4s out of warranty?

I have water damage and replaced front and back glass

    warranty void
If you replaced the glass you probably are not eligible for
    out of warranty program either
water damage would have been ok
Certain damage is ineligible for out-of-warranty service, including catastrophic damage, such as the device separating into multiple pieces, and inoperability caused by unauthorized modifications. However, an iPhone that has failed due to contact with liquid may be eligible for out-of-warranty service.

  • What do i need to consider when installing labview on a virtual windows machine?

IT wants to get rid of all computers and wants us to run labview development for our new test lab from a virtual machine. Is this a good idea? What are the potential issues that I need to warn IT about?

Will you be able to communicate with all of the instruments through the netork?
Do they have a good reason for doing what they say they want to do?
They are going to put themselves out of a job.  Once you have all your stuff virtualized on a network, the next step is them losing their jobs as they outsource network administration to India.
I think these virtual machines are just going to cause you more problems down the road even if you can get them working to some degree.  I really think you need to fight these attempts by them.  If they want to make this change, then it should be their resonsibility to prove to you that all will work properly before they try to implement their scheme rather than them forcing a change and making you try to prove to them that it won't work.
Here is one scenario I would pose that that works against their idea.
Do you have long running tests?  Something where you set up equipment and the PC, and have it execute for a period of time continually collecting data?  If something goes wrong during this test, is the test a waste, the test piece trashed?  If you have a PC/real connection to your instrument, then even if the network goes down, the test should still be able to run successfully and the data collected.  But now if you virtualize the PC and the network goes down, it basically takes down the heard of your program and your test is corrupted.  Now they'll say they have back plans, redundant routers, blah blah blah.  And it is usually rare that internal LAN's go down.  But where is this server?  Is it local to you or some other remote location?  It is much more likely for the network to go down if you are jumping between buildings, states, even countries.  And IT is notorious for needing to reboot a server, much needed security upgrades, blah blah blah, that will cause them to take down the virtual machine server.  They may even promise that they'll notify you before they do such a step so that you can finish your test and make sure everything is clean and shutdown.  But guess what, they never do.

  • What does "About this Mac" consider backup files?

  • What do I need to consider giving my iPhone 4S to my wife?

The new iPhone could be release in the next several months. I have a Verizon iPhone 4S with iTunes Match and when the new iPhone arrives, I will give the 4S to my wife. She has an apple ID but has purchased nothing with it. All the music, apps and functionaly are with my apple ID. I should note that I also have an iPad 2 that is all under my Apple ID too, but she uses the iPad.
I have read the discussions on how to keep the music and the apps with my ID. I think that creates confusion and which ID is what. For example, the phone is under her ID and part of the music and apps are under my id. When she purchases more music and apps those are under her ID. I dont have a problem re-purchasing some apps.
On my MBP, we share a music library housed in the public folder. Its under my ID. Can I just phyically sync that library to the 4S for her so she has all the music? Sorry for the long post, I wanted to get all potential easy questions out there.
Basically I want her to purchase her own music and apps moving forward, but wanted to provide her with music we both have on the 4S. Should I reset the 4S?
    Thanks

It helps. Still not clear. I still think since the music was purchased under my apple ID, my wife will have to keep track of my apple id and password. Am I correct? I guess I can burn it and upload it.
    Any other thoughts?

  • HT201262 What specific kernel extensions are considered essential?

I want to manually find out what's causing a problem - redcine-x exports fine in safe boot mode, but not in normal mode, but i can't figure out what it is.
It's not any login item or anything in startup items in library (or font - any of the other things safe mode disables). It's a specific kernel extension that's been installed (in system/library/extensions) but i can't go thru one by one - each test in redcine-x takes 20 minutes at least (before it kernel panics), plus many are required and would prevent the computer from booting if i removed them.
what's a list of REQUIRED kexts that i can leave in there and remove all the ones that safe mode disables? or what's the list of kexts that safe mode disables?
I've been looking everywhere for this but nobody seems to care what safe mode actually disables from the extensions directory....
    Any ideas?
EDIT - i answered this myself. You can do to about this mac then system profiler or whatever it's called now and get a list of loaded extensions there. Compare it to the list in safe boot and there we have what i need. now i'll remove the extensions safe boot disables and go from there in standard trouble shooting tactics. i remember conflict catcher on os 8 and 9 - ahh those were the days.
    Message was edited by: benjackson

Well, it needed to go even deeper! I hope this helps someone.
So after making sure the same kexts were listed as loaded - like the list was EXACTLY the same, same number...it still wasn't working (the transcode in redcine-x)
Just remember this would apply to any replicatable fault where you get a kernel panic.
So what i did was reboot in safe mode and verbose mode - which logs the results of that to the system.log in /private/var/log
open this in console and look for what extensions safe boot is saying it's going to 'suppress the personalities' of.
I went thru, and did that. Now, some of what it wants to suppress is again, only inside the package in the plugins directory of that particular kext. so i just copied (made a backup) of the whole thing and then went in and only deleted the plugin it didn't want. I"m assuming other plugins ARE needed.
I missed a few, tested, failed, and did it again - had another 6 or so. Now my NORMAL boot looks the same as SAFE boot, and safe boot doesn't suppress any kexts. It has to do with the OSBundleRequired in the plist of important kexts, as per here:
    OSBundleRequired
The OSBundleRequired property informs the system that your kext must be available for loading during early boot. Kexts that don’t set this property can’t load during early boot. You can specify one of the following values for this property:
RootThis kext is required to mount root, regardless of where root comes from—for example, platform drivers and families, PCI, or USB.
Network-RootThis kext is required to mount root on a remote volume—for example, the network family, Ethernet drivers, or NFS.
Local-RootThis kext is required to mount root on a local volume—for example, the storage family, disk drivers, or file systems.
ConsoleThis kext is required to provide character console support (single-user mode)—for example, keyboard drivers or the ADB family.
    Safe Boot
This kext is required even during safe-boot (unnecessary extensions disabled)—for example, mouse drivers or graphics drivers.
So testing again, see how I go.
