What is Pricelist and pricing report in Pricing.

Hi All,
What is pricelist and pricing report in pricing? How to configur it?
Mohammed.

Hi Mohammed,
Path for Price List is as-
SAP menu >Logistics> Sales and Distribution> Master Data>Conditions List-->V_NL - Net price list
Path for Pricing report is as-
SAP menu >Logistics> Sales and Distribution> Master Data>Conditions List-->V/LD - Pricing Report
You can also cretae a price list by Transaction code V-45
Here you have to select a Combination as-
1.Customer/Material
2.Price List Type/Currency/Material
3.Material
Price list can be made for these 3 combinations.
Pricing report will give a report for
sales area specific price
material specific price
customer specific price
discount if any for customer maintained.
Hope this will be helpful for you.
Reward with points.

  • What is Managed  and unManaged reports

    Hi ,
Can  some one tell me the difference between managed and unmanaged reports that is mentioned in the RAS developer library.
    thanks,
    Prem

If report is Managed, you have to  first publish the same report in Enterprise first and then only you can use that report inside your application. So managed report implies that Enterprise is aware of report.
If report is Unmanaged ,you can access the report by specifying its path inside your code.Unmanaged reports do not require authentication or other logon procedures to access them. Components that support unmanaged reports include the Java Reporting Component and unmanaged Report Application Servers

  • What is meaning of PRICING REPORTS?

    Hi Frends,
What is the meaning of Pricing Reports?
    Why we use this reports?
    What Purpose?
Can we create new pricing reports? If yes How?
    Pl clarify with common examples
    Babu Rao

    Hello Babu Rao,
A Pricing report basically helps to get the list of all the pricing details which we have maintained in the system. We can get details of all the condition types including the scales. We can get the details as per our requirement i.e., Sales org/Dc/Division/Plant /material etc wise. The selection criteria would be as per the Key combination which you select in the IMG screen
You get following information from pricing report.
    1. It informs you about the customer specific price agreements that were made within a certain period
    2. From pricing report you can know which condition records exist for freight charges
    3. Which condition records exist for customers in a particular region or country
u can create your own pricing reports with V/LA.
    Also
V/LD is very useful. This can be customized.
The sales personnel use it to
    1. get information for price (discounts) that existed at previous period (Say June 2005)
    2. Inform potential buyer about the current price (and discounts)
    3. Review price and discounts.
Though all the above T Codes and there are many More standard SAP Reports  have very high utility, it is not widely used. Clients prefer customised reports when it comes to pricing reports - all Z programs and Transactions.
These kind of reports are generally required by the Top Management for periodical review // Finance team for price control // Master data team for record purposes // Process audits by Internal/external agency // Of late, for every SOX audit done in the company...especially the change records for prices.
    Reward if its helpful..

  • What are the key benefits and limitations of new pricing model of X5-2?

What are the key benefits and limitations of new pricing model that started with X5 version?

    1. Elastic Configurations
Size/price hardware by the number of servers; Fixed configs no longer required
Start with 2 Database Servers and 3 Storage Servers. Incrementally add database or storage servers online.
    2. Capacity-on-Demand (CoD)
Upon installation, activate 40-100% of the cores per server and reduce software licenses; Applies to Eighth Rack now too
Activate and license more cores when needed; Active cores may not be deactivated
    3. OVM and Trusted Partitions
License software on Virtual CPUs within a VM; Ideal for special-purpose DB options
You can mix different combination of options for different DB on one Exadata.
OVM has no License cost; support is included with premier hardware support
    Limitation:
At least 40% of usable cores on the machine must be licensed for Oracle software
Cannot use both OVM and CoD to license less than 40% of cores
A server must be virtualized or non-virtualized – not mixed
A RAC cluster can mix virtualized and non-virtualized servers
    4. “Flash Drive” License Metric for EF Storage Server Software
    $20K/drive; 8 flash drives/EF server vs 12 disk drives/HC server = 33% higher list
Can transfer licenses between Flash Drive (2 licenses/drive) and Disk Drive (1 license/drive) – part # is the same

  • HELP! Need Pricing Report

I need a report with the following information:
Material, Material description, marked for deletion flag, List Price, Standard Price (cost)
Is this something that available in SAP or can I do this report using SQ01, if yes, what tables can I use?
    Please help

You can create your own pricing reports with the transaction "V/LA".
The path is IMG-Sales and Distribution-Basic functions-Pricing-Maintain Pricing reports.
    <b>Step 1</b>
Enter a short text name, consisting of two characters, the first of which must be a letter, and the title of a pricing report that you would like to create. On the next data screen you will see all key fields used in conditions, listed in alphabetical order. Select all key fields that should be taken into consideration in the pricing report.
    <b>Step 2:</b>
If you choose “Edit -> continue with AND”, all condition tables are evaluated, that contain at least one of the selected key fields. If you choose “Edit -> continue with AND”, all condition tables are evaluated, that contain at least one of the selected key fields. In the next dialog box, mark all condition tables that are to be evaluated.
    <b>Step 3:</b>
Choose “Continue to list structure” to define the screen structure for the pricing report. Make sure that on the next screen all key fields from the selected tables appear. Fields, that are not used as selection criteria when displaying the list later, can be removed by undoing selection in the “Selection” column. Fields can be marked as obligatory fields on the selection screen. The structure of the pricing reports means that information can be placed in different places in the list. The layout contains the following elements:
    Page Header
    Group Header
    Item
To execute this report, use the transaction V/LD.
    Path: Logistics-SD-Master Data-Information system-Conditions and Pricing-Pricing reports
<b>Also, check the existing reports in V/LD like 28/15/17.</b>

  • Pricing Report help - V/LA

    Hi folks
I need some help on Pricing Reports. Initially on the concept & then very specific to my client's requirements.
    1. In v/la t-code, when we are asked to create a report- on what basis do those selective few fields appear ? Moreover on what basis do we choose some of those fields? are we looking to finalize the selection screen in v/ld based on our chosen fields? Is that the only purpose or we also looking to get the required tables in the next screen???
    2. I believe after selecting the required tables in the next screen, we go ahead with creating the layout of the report. Is this correct?
My next questions are specific to the requirements
My client needs a pricing report - they have given me about 150 Condition types with their associated tables & fields. Now I was looking for the right approach to this one.
I think if I plug in all tables into one report & later in production it would definitely give me a dump. So what can be the basis of classifying - 10 to 15 reports based on C.types ??? Other possibility might be classifying on basis of different biz scenarios or would their be some other more efficient approach?
Your help would be truly appreciated.

your approach is correct, so are your concerns. What we have done is we have clubbed the Price related conditions in one report and tax related conditon in one report so on and so forth. You may also look at classifying in that fashion.

  • Standard Pricing Reports

    Hello Gurus,
what are differents SAP Standard Pricing Reports?
I am looking for Standard Pricing Reports to check whether the requirement I have need to be developed or the purpose can be solved by Standard Reports
    Many Thanks
    Big Screams

    Hi,
If you want your own pricing reports then customize in SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions-->Maintain pricing Report.
    Maintain Pricing Report
In this menu option, you define the screen layout for pricing reports. You use pricing reports to analyze condition records according to different criteria. Technically, pricing reports are ABAP/4 programs.
    Note
The standard SAP R/3 System contains predefined pricing reports which you can start using the application menu.
    Actions
    1. Display the pricing reports defined in the standard SAP R/3 System to check to what extent you can use them.
    2. Create new pricing reports. To do this, proceed as follows:
    a) Enter a two-digit description (with a character as the first digit) and the title of the pricing report you want to create.
    b) All key fields which are used in conditions appear in alphabetical order on the following data screen. Select all key fields which should be used in the pricing report.
If you choose Edit->Further processing with AND, all condition tables will be evaluated that contain at least one of the selected key
fields. If you choose Edit->Further processing with OR, only the condition tables that contain all the selected key fields will
    c) be evaluated.Select all condition tables which should be analyzed in the next dialog box.
    d) Choose "Position fields" to define the screen layout of the pricing report. Make sure that all key fields from the selected tables appear on the following data screen.
Fields which should not be used as selection criteria later on when displaying the list, can be suppressed by cancelling the check mark in the "Selection" column.
You can also indicate fields as obligatory on the selection screen.
You will get the field names here.

  • Performance issue - Pricing Report

    Hi Experts,
I have developed an ALV report and I need to improve the performance in production.
I have a relatively complex issue here. I have to fetch data for pricing from a pricing condition from all the respective underlying condition tables (AXXX). Then for every material, I have to display the material class classification characteristics and their values maintained in the material master as well as batch classification characteristics and their corresponding values maintained for every batch.
    For example:
In this way, if the condition is having 10 materials, every material has say 10 material class characteristic and 12 batch class characteristics then the total number of rows in the out put should be 130 (one for material and 12 rows for classifications).
How can I optimize the output so that the performance is optimized.
I am also fetching other data for the output like stock and sales order quantity against every material.
I have tried minimizing loops and used select for all entries(I have read a few threads which suggests otherwise). Read statements use binary search. No select * queries.
    Warm Regards,
    Abdullah

I would not sign a lot of the recommendations going around here. Seems like a complex report you are doing there, so here is my personal generic recommendations:
    - always use index when selecting from database tables
    - avoid redundant database accesses to unbuffered tables, only read fields you really need for processing
    - use sorted or hashed tables for reads or loops and access them by key
    - use ASSIGNING rather than INTO when reading or looping (small gain)
    - use SE30 and if necessary ST05 to fine tune if not yet satisfied with the runtime

  • Issue in Pricing Report Creation - V/LA

    Dear All,
I have created a new pricing report in V/LA.
    Details:
3 condition tables in the pricing configuration.
    1-SO / DC / Customer / Sales district / Material
    2-SO / DC / Customer / Material
    3-SO / DC / Material
During report creation I select only "Material" field from the field selection screen & proceed with "AND" option.
From Table selection screen, I select all those 3 condition tables.
Now at executing of this report (In V/LD), I enter only "Customer" field (say customer 1000) in the selection criteria. (because I want to see all condition records exists for that customer 1000?
When I execute the report it shows below 3 sections.
1-SO / DC / Customer / Sales district / Material - All condition records exists for that customer/Sales District combination
2-SO / DC / Customer / Material - All All condition records exists for that customer
3-SO / DC / Material - All condition records maintained for Material level.
But as per my selection criteria, system should show only 1 & 2 sections.
How can I omit appearing sections 3 in my pricing report. ( Because I want to see condition records relevant to that customer only)
Highly appreciate all your suggestions !!
    Thanks in advance !

    Dear Matthew,
As per suggestion, I have to create 2 reports for the above requirement.
1- with only Customer tables to see customer level prices. (For this I have to add only below 2 tables)
                          - SO / DC / Customer / Sales district / Material
                          - SO / DC / Customer / Material
2- Other report to see material level prices. For that I have add all 3 tables.
                          - SO / DC / Customer / Sales district / Material
                          - SO / DC / Customer / Material
                          - SO / DC / Material
So with this when user want to see price by customer, he has to select FIRST report & when he want to select price by Material, he has to select SECOND Report.
It's not very user friendly, But yes, I can suggest it as a solution.
    Thanks for your reply !
    Really helpful !

    Hi
I want to add some table in the existing pricing report. But I am unable to do so.
My requirement was to add some new selection field in the Pricing report which is possible by adding the table in the existing pricing report.
But I found If I go to EDIT>Tables.there is one option is called  "add table" which is appearing grey.
Can you found it the way to add the tables in the Pricing report.

    Hi Sumit,
You cannot add anything to existing report - you need to create new one and there you will be able to choose more tables than you use now.

One thing that is mentioned, but not really emphasized, is that the zooming when opening and closing Apps is now gone when the reduce motion setting is enabled. I guess too many people where claiming sea sickness and Apple wanted to avoid lawsuits.
Now the nay sayers will have to refocus their efforts and complain about the font and the icons.

  • Condition type not appearing in Pricing report

    Hello all,
    There are 2 condition types
ZR00 - condclass B, calc type C, item condition, with acc seq Sales Area/Material and
ZQA2 - condclass A, calc type C, item condition, with acc seq Sales Area/Customer/Material.
I have maintained condition records for both & created a pricing report with field name Condition type for which position is Page Header of Pricing report.
However when i fire this report condtype ZR00 appears but ZQA2 does not. Please advise.
    Thanks
    -Dinesh

    Hi Dinesh
In the condition table , maintain the key combination of sales area/Customer grp /customer/material and then generate the report. Then you may  get the output  . But make sure you have maintained the customer group in CMR also.
But it is better to reduce the key combination you have maintained , because there are many feilds which are involved, may be that could be the reason you were not getting output.
