What is the AS3 command to stop your Flex 2 Application

I've been looking thru the documentation and I can't find the
AS 3 command (or mxml command) that stops the Flex 2 application. I
have a 'Log Out' button that will do some general clean up, then it
should also cause the Flex application to cease operations.
What are some commands to cause Flex applications to cease
operations?
In Java, the equivalent would be something like
'System.exit(0);'

I want to terminate operations - The user will be done with
the appication at this point (when the click the logout button). I
guess, It could invoke a web page that says its finished. I
could force it back to the login screen if thats the only option.
I notice that the AIR environment supports this.

Decompiling is unnecessary. All somebody would have to do would be to sniff the transmissions between your application and your database; the credentials are sent unencrypted.
So the problem is not that somebody could find out the database credentials, the problem is that your database exposes itself to the internet. And if anybody does find the credentials through any method at all, then you've got a problem.
And by the way if you distribute your application with the credentials hard-coded, then that makes it difficult for you to change the password if it does get compromised, because then nobody can use your application any more. This is a bad thing because one of the first things you should do when your system is compromised is to change the access password.
So really the best way to distribute this application would be to write it so that it connects to an application which runs on your server. This server application would communicate with the database, which would make it unnecessary for the database to be visible from the internet. Your Swing application would communicate with the server application via some kind of web service protocol.

I'm trying to intergate my companies AD kerberose with the services hosted on a Lion Server in a golden triangle setup.
Here's what I've tried so far.
1. Bind to AD host.
2. sudo dsconfigad -enablesso
3. Make a Opendirectory Master
4. sudo kinit list, all listed services should point to AD KDC..
Am I missing something?
I've tried other way as well, but it always shuts down LDAP.

What is the key command to open Audition in Logic 8?

The little play icon in the bin, sample editor, etc.
The one for auditioning things.
Doesn't work for me. The only way I can get, for example, a playback from cursor position in the sample editor--is to manually click on the little green play icon with the mouse. Same with the bin, loops, and so on.
For many years I've had key commands to do this kind of thing, but it is broken for me since Logic 8. What is the key command for this called? I've tried disabling the space bar as a key command, and I've also tried re-enabling it for "play or stop". Although in the latter case, that should still function the way it does in the arrange window.
Actually, I've tried a lot of things and I'm completely out of ideas.
I posted on this subject several months ago and it remains unresolved. For the life of me I cannot get the audition button to work via any key command.

If you imported your key commands from version 7 there can be problems in version 8.
Try using one of the key command presets from version 8.

I had tried ticking the asset shutdown field, but it didn't works. I change the depreciation key , e.g. 0000-zero depreciation, it works, however i do not know what is the implication of doing this.

Hi,
No depreciation for a period of time
If you have an asset which would not be used for production purposes for next six months as the plant is being closed.
Therefore you don't want to retire the asset and neither do you want depreciation to be carried out during these six months period.
Once the plant is opened, from then on, you want to execute the depreciation run.
You can utilize the Asset Shutdown feature on the Time-dependent tab of the asset master record.
Select the Asset Shutdown checkbox - create a time interval - Save.
If you cannot find the checkbox, it could be hidden :-
In AS02 click Environment -> Screen Layout -> Master data
Select the Screen Layout and click Logical Field groups
Select 3 - Time-dependent and click Field group rules
Tick Opt, Mnno and Sbno - Save
Optionally,
you can set the Depreciation key in the Deprecation Area Tab.
You can also change the depreciation key to '0000' (No depreciation and no interest) for each of your depreciation books. Just make sure you have run depreciation up through the current month before doing so. When you are ready to put the asset back into service, reset the keys to their original values. The system will calculate no depreciation during the months where you have the key set to '0000'.

If I am able to deactivate or unattach or disable the driver that is responsible for controlling the usb web cam that I have in my Mac mini, the virtualization program (VBox) would be able to capture it (already configured with the appropriate filter) for my guest OS. Now, I only get a message saying that the camera is busy from a previous request.

Don't panic and don't worry. Your problem is basic. This error happens when your downgrade or upgrade your iDevice once apple stop signing the firmware.
DON'T use Tinyumbrella or others jailbreak utilities.
Steps:
1. Goto Windows/System32/Drivers/etc
2. Open "Hosts" file with Notepad.
3. Delete gs.apple.com (everything - all traces) then save it.
3A. And also delete the Tinyumbrella notepad file.
4. Plug-in your iDevice to PC, start iTunes and Restore.

If you know that you do not intend to use the software on the old machine (especially if you are getting rid of it), the minimum you need to do is deactivate it. That will disable use of it and free up an extra activation for you should you ever wish to have two machines available to use it on. To deactivate you just open an application and choose Help -> Deactivate. If this happens to be a Creative Suite, doing that to just one of the applications will deactivate the entire Suite.
You can also uninstall the software if you like, but be sure to deactivate it first.

While I agree with the direction of the suggestions with installing packages for X-windows, we do not have a blanket 'apply any package' recommendation.
In particular we do not support altering the kernel (although we do have exceptions which we review on a case by case basis).
Basically, if the you want to alter functionality that would not impact core functionality you are usually fine.
A good guideling is : The more dependencies that there are between the package / rpm you are considering using the higher the potential impact on functionality - meaning higher chance for problems
Note: We do use VNC including Real and Tiger regularly , but we have no hard recommendation on how you may want to use X-windows. I have never seen a limitation other than comments on bugs
or incompatibility within the X-window product itself with certain kernel levels.
Patching may overwrite some packages that you may install, however, _depending on packages/rpms added_ there is also the possibility that you will break existing functionality to the point
that patching itself will fail ( we have already seen a few cases of this in which case the proper mitigation is to remove / roll-back any alterations to the ODA before patching, and then adding the packages/rpms
back after the patching is completed.
From what you are discussing the impact should be low without conflicts, but please consider the above, and if you have specific packages which you consider potential problems
please create an SR so that we can review packages / rpms on an individual basis.
Once again: the main criteria for not supporting rpms is regarding the kernel itself
