  • What is the diffrent bettween in coming trust and outgoing trus?

    Hi all,
What is the different between incoming trust and outgoing trust?
Also, What is the diffrent between incoming trust and one way trust? I think in tow, we can just inputing.
    Future is mine!

Here's another, yet simple way to look at it:
A trust is a simple, yet secure communication channel. Internal Forest trusts between the parent root domain and child domains,  and the parent root domain and domain trees in a forest, and manually created Forest trusts between two forests, are
    all two way, transitive trusts.
Any other type of manually created trusts, such as domain to domain NTLM (NT4 style) trusts, and realm trusts, are one way, non-transitive trusts, except a Shortcut trust within a forest, which are manually created one way transitive trusts
Note: The trust direction of the arrow is pointing to the user account's home (domain) that YOU are letting in to YOUR home (domain) to use YOUR resources (such as a refrigerator, bathroom, shared folder, files, etc).
So if DomainA  ----> trusts -----> DomainB - means that DomainA is letting user accounts from DomainB access it's resources.
DomainA is the *trusting* domain, and DomainB is the trusted domain.
How about if I toss you the keys to my car? What did I just do? I trusted you. I am the trusting domain (outbound trust because I am extending the trust to trust you), and you are the trusted domain where you are accepting the trust, hence inbound trust
    on your part.
Take it a step further .... How about ifI tossed you the keys to my house? Same thing, I am the *trusting* domain (outbound trust), and you are the *trusted* domain (inbound trust).
Oh wait, even if I did that, you still don't have access to the beer in the fridge.
So what I must do now, because the trust is setup where I trust you, the accounts from your domain now show up in the list that I can choose from. Because of the trust, I can see and choose your account to now give you permissions to the folder,
    err, I mean the fridge.
If I give you read access, you can only look at the beer. But that isn't any fun though. If I gave you modify or full control, then you can enjoy the beer.
I use this method to teach trusts to my AD class. I hope you've found it helpful.

  • I have redeemed my iTunes giftcard (which was accepted without verification) however when I tried to make a purchase, I am required to verify my identity, and thus I cannot use the giftcard which I HAVE REDEEMED. Is there any way I can un-redeem it?

I have redeemed my iTunes giftcard (which was accepted without verification; it only needed my password)
However when I tried to make a purchase, I am required to verify my identity, and thus I cannot use the giftcard which I HAVE REDEEMED. Is there any way I can un-redeem it? I am currently trying to enter all of the possibilities for my questions, and my iPad is new, so the serial number is not registered with my account. According to support, no purchases have been made in my account, so I can't verify my identity through credit card. Please help!~

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
If you just want to have the card un-redeemed, use the form.

Have you tried syncing the iPhone to your computer and restoring from the backup to see if you can get your other songs back? If you purchased the new album with your Apple ID, you should be able to download it to your computer to sync.

You will have to contact the previous owner, only he/she can remove the phone from their account. You don't have any contact details for the person that you bought the phone from, email address, phone number, postal address ? If you can't contact them then you won't be able to reactivate and use the phone.

My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s'.   Last night she switched to ios7 and I am still using ios6.  I use the find my iPhone app to keep track of her and since the update it no longer works.  Her phone says its on but when I try and locate it from either my phone or laptop it shows it offline.  Any suggestions.  It's my only peace of mind! Thanks!

Does she have her own iCloud account?  You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone".  So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account.  Is that what happened in your case?

I'd gather by your "reset Safari"  and "clean up" you mean by sites you rather not have your mom see.

  • What is the maximum number of contacts in a group that will send in an iCloud email? I'm sending from MacBookPro.

What is the maximum number of contacts in a group that will send in an iCloud email? I'm sending from MacBookPro.

    Limits on Sending Messages
iCloud has several safeguards to ensure that only iCloud members can send messages using the iCloud outgoing mail server. Among these safeguards are reasonable limitations on:
The total number of messages you can send each day (200 messages)
The number of recipients to whom you can send each day (1000 recipients)
The maximum number of recipients per message (100 recipients)
The size of incoming and outgoing messages (20 MB)
You can send 10 emails to 100 people each in a day, for example, or 198 messages with, on average, 5 recipients (and five ninety-ninths).

When I've had a similar problem, it was because I was accessing the iTunes store from a device I hadn't used before, such as when I upgraded from an iPad 1 to the iPad 2.  It was a little confusing to me until I figured it out.
All I had to do was use the ID of my existing account and play along with the iTunes store.  As I recall, it asked for my password twice, and the security code from the back of my credit card.  After that, downloads proceeded as before.

What is the most sensible way to extend a wifi signal. I am in a cinderblock house and I have to buy something that will give me a single network but added range from my airport extreme base station.

Use an Airport Express. Configure the AEBS to allow it's wireless network to be extended. This is a dropdown menu option under the Wireless tab. Configure the Airport Express to Extend an Existing Network also under it's Wireless tab. You will need to provide the name of your network used in the AEBS as well as the network's access password.

    Hi,
I am getting a warning message on screen, saying that myiPad hasn't been backed up to iCloud for two weeks, and advising under what circumstances the message appears. My problem is, is that I have backed it up, but am unable to remove the message, and whilst the message is there, the iPad is frozen, and I cannot do anything.
Has any other user had such a problem, and if so, how did they rectify it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up

When I was ready to place the order for my iPhoto book, I realized that it was for a soft cover book and I wanted hard cover.  How can I change this without losing my prepared book?

Duplicate your book and try to change the theme in the copy.  Chnaging the theme may change the layout  of your text fileds. That is why you need the copy to be able to compare the pages before and after.
Ctrl-click the book in the Source list and select "Duplicate".
Click the "Change Theme" button in the upper right corner of the Book pane, make sure, you have the same theme selected and the same size. Click Hardcover.

I made an album in iPhoto and when it plays through the "slideshow", heads are cut off in some of the pictures.  How do I fix this?

When running a slideshow from an album it will not run properly if the photos are sorted manually.  Sort them by any of the other options, title, date, rating, etc. and it will play correctly.
Send a report of the problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
If you must sort them manually create the slideshow in the slideshow mode in iPhoto, not from an album.
