What is the maximum filesize for a FTP Adapter?

I have xml files with 1000's of records to read in. The file size can range anywhere from a few MB up to ~100MB. Most of them are about 50 MB.
The FTP adapter works when I have a small file, but with larger ones it apparently times out. Once it runs into a big file like this, it won't process any more files until I restart the process. It doesn't show any faults or even any record of a running instance in the BPEL Console, so I have no idea specifically when it breaks. I uploaded a 10MB file to my ftp server and left it for a half hour, but nothing showed up, so I'm assuming it's broken rather than just taking a long time.
What is the maximum file size for a FTP adapter? Can I change this somewhere? I looked in the ...\application-deployments\default\FtpAdapter\oc4j-ra.xml file but couldn't find any settings to change.

Well no luck on my end and it doesn't look like anybody else has any ideas either. This thread Re: FTP Adapter, Java Embedding, ... says that if you can't get the functionality you need out of the default one, you should write your own FTP adapter in JCA. I looked at JCA and would like to write a simple polling adapter and then put all my FTP code in embedded java.
Can somebody explain how I could achieve the basic FTP Adapter polling functionality in JCA? I'm having difficulty figuring out how to have an ongoing polling process without instantiating a BPEL process itself, like the existing FTP adapter does. I don't want to set off on writing my own adapter if it's going to be a much larger undertaking than I have time for.
Also, is the source code open for the default FTP adapter? It would be great if I could just modify the few things I need to change rather than write one from scratch.

  • What is the maximum size for mailbox per user (Exchange 2007)

    Hello,
    I'd like to know:
What is the maximum size per mailbox, and is it not recommended to exceed 3 GB and about the items how many is the maximum per folder (inbox, .. )
    I've Exchange 2007 SP2, Outlook 2007 and 2010.
    Thank you.

    Hi
There is no size limit on mailboxes up to the maximum size of your database.  I normally recommend 2GB mailbox limits if you have some form of archiving in place.  If you have no archiving in place then the limit should be set at the amount of
data people need to keep - it is not a good idea for people to store mail in PST files because there is a limit on their mailbox.
See this article for item count recommendations:

Also you need to upgrade your Exchange 2007 server to SP3 ... SP2 has been out of support for nearly 3 years already:

  • What's the maximum RAM for this notebook (ze2000)?

    Hello,
i want to find out, what's the max memory for notebook ze2000 (p/n: EF062EA#ABU)
    Andrius
    LTU

    Hi:
According to the service manual for your notebook at the link below, maximum is 2 x 512 MB for 1 GB.
    Chapter 1, page 1-3.
    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00400869.pdf
I would run the free Crucial Memory scanner and see what it reports.  1 GB seems pretty low for the hardware in your notebook.

  • What is the maximum RAM for 2.16 GHz 24 in DDR2 iMac Early 2006

What is the maximum RAM that I can install on iMac 24 in 2.16 GHz DDR2 Early 2006 model?

    Is this your Mac:
    http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/stats/imac-core-2-duo-2.16-24-inch-sp ecs.html
I had the same model: officially it'll support 3 GB RAM; some people added 4 GB and it ran fine, but it will only address about 3.2 GB. I decided that wasn't worth it and made do with 3 GB.

  • What is the maximum size a sender SOAP adapter can handle?

    Hi,
I am using sender SOAP adapter and receiver RFC adapter.
What is the maximum size of request message it can handle efficiently.
In the current scenario which I need to design , the request XML file could be up to 24 MB.
Also if you could comment on which would be the best to use as the sender side - SOAP or File Adapter
when the request message/file is of such size?
    regards
    Arun G

    hi,
    >What is the maximum size of request message it can handle efficiently.
it totally depends on your hardware and flow design inside XI/PI
    >In the current scenario which I need to design , the request XML file could be up to 24 MB.
this size is not a lot for a "normal" XI machine but it also depends on the
volume of those messages - that is if you need to send
one message like that per day or 1000 per half an hour...
    >Also if you could comment on which would be the best to use as the sender side - SOAP or File Adapter
when the request message/file is of such size?
SAP's general recommendation is to use messages around 5mb
but it heavily depends on other factors so don't threat it as a must

  • What are the maximum temperatures for my MacBook Pro?

I have this MacBook Pro (3,1). I know there are maximum temperatures at which the system will shut itself down in order to prevent damage. I know this because I have seen it happen a couple of times
When I run Windows, apparently the OS doesn't care to throttle power in order to reduce dangerous heat like Mac OS X does. I now have a program that monitors CPU and GPU heat when I run Windows 7, and it will sound an alarm if they reach a pre-set ceiling.
My question is, how do I know what the emergency shutdown temperature is so I can set the alarm limit appropriately (low enough to trigger before catastrophe, but high enough that it doesn't trigger when things are still okay)?
This page from Intel seems to be telling me that the CPU should not go above 100°C ...does that seem like the number I'm looking for?
Nvidia doesn't seem to say anything about temperatures on the product page. User forums seem only to speculate on what is or isn't safe with no real specifications to back them up.
How can I find these numbers, either from Intel & Nvidia, or from Apple? Or, is there a general ceiling that I can go by to make sure my alarm warns me before an emergency shutdown?

  • What is the maximum resolution for an external monitor for a 13" BMP

I have a new MBP 13 and a new Samsung LED 23" monitor that is spec'd at 1920x1080 resolution. However the maximum resolution I can get (using Display) for the external monitor is 1600x900 (or 1600x1200 stretched). What could be causing this limitation?

Are you guys able to resolve the issue with the Samsung HDTV LCD monitor? I just bought the Samsung B2230HD but having some image issue. I am connecting to the LCD from my macbook pro using Mini Display Port -> DVI -> HDMI but the image on the LCD is very grainy where the text is not sharp at all. The mac is able to detect the correct resolution of 1920x1080 though

  • What is the maximum temperature for a mid 2010 MacBook?

I need to know the maximum running temperature for my mid 2010 (white unibody) MacBook. And at what temperature should I shut it down? I'm also curious if I should turn up the speed of my fans and what speed I should set them at. Thanks for everyones support!
It would also be great if someone could provide a link or tell me where they found the info because I want to make sure it is official, I couldn't seem to find it on Apple's technical specs nor google.

MacBooks are designed to shut themselves down if they reach a temperature above which they should not operate. It also controls its own fans, you should not mess with that. I don't know what that temperature is. If your MacBook is running too hot you may want to try resetting the System Management Controller, which is a good first step for all sorts of power related issues.
    Best of luck.

  • What is the maximum RAM for 2008 MacBook pro

I've seen some here say they have 8gb. Manual says 4 is max. What is the correct number?

    You're welcome.
My late 08 Uni also states 4GB Max but been running 8GB for a year now.
Same with my 1 month old late 2011.  Specs says 8GB Max.  Been running it with 16GB the day I bought it.
I have Crucial installed in both my Macbooks.
If your MB works for you, then just use it with the RAM upgrade so it can last you for awhile.  You'll see a difference in speed.
Another thing to check is your hard drive.  If it's almost full, delete some files you're not using and clear your cache memory once in a while.
An almost full hard drive also slows down your MB.

  • What is the maximum MBPS for the AirPort Extreme 5th Generation?

I am considering the E4200 v2 and AirPort Extreme routers. Can any give me the pros & cons for each? Price is about the same with the E4200 v2 $20 more.

For an excellent review of the 5th Gen AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), I would recommend that you check out the following SmallNetBuilder article. They not only provide comprehensive data on testing the base station's performance. but they also do so for a number of other router manufacturer products, including the Cisco/Linksys E4200V2 that you are also interested in.

  • What is the maximum ram for the zd 8000

I have a zd8000  what is the max. ram this will take.
    Thanks
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

zd8000 is more like 2009 or so. Here is the Service Manual:
    Manual
The series started out as a Socket 775 Pentium 4 machine but I believe by the end of the run, with a BIOS update you could actually use Core2 Duo processors in it and it could take up to 4 gigs of RAM and run 64 bit Windows. The model numbers ran up into the zd8400 range, if I recall. They are enormous machines which are essentially desktop computers in a laptop case but lots of room in there so easy to disassemble and work on.
There should be a tag on the bottom with the full model number. The Manual does not really describe the later versions very well. It is a pretty rare beast, you do not see very many of them.
