What version of JDK with JDeveloper 9i?

Does anyone know what version of JDK being used by JDeveloper 9i? I had a compile error when I compile a Java program using JDeveloper 3.2. This error sits on "frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);" statement. Thanks for any help.
Attach a program:
import javax.swing.*;
public class SimpleFrameTest
public static void main(String[] args)
SimpleFrame frame = new SimpleFrame();
frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
frame.show();
class SimpleFrame extends JFrame
public SimpleFrame()
setSize(WIDTH, HEIGHT);
public static final int WIDTH = 300;
public static final int HEIGHT = 200;
}

  • How can you tell what version of JDK a class was compiled under

    Kind Folks,
    I have a Java application purchased from a vendor that is certified to run under JDK/JRE 1.2xxx. I recently received some extensions to the application from the vendor's consulting arm but I am having problems with the extensions. I believe the extensions were compiled under JDK 1.3xxxx but I need tp prove it to the vendor. Is there a way I can verify what version of JDK a class file was compiled under?

    ...version of JDK a class file was compiled under? Not sure that makes sense. The class files will run the same under both. The only difference you would see is if you got a class not found or a method not found exception. If the class/method does not exist in 1.2 but does exist in 1.3 then that is where they were compiled. Manually verifying that would take a lot of work. Running it, as long as you excercise all of the functionality, (and presuming your app is not eating exceptions/errors when it shouldn't) then you should get an exception telling you of the error.

  • How to Determine What Version of JDK I Have?

    Hi,
    How do I determine what version of the JDK or SDK is installed on our server?
    Thanks,
    Ken

    There isn't any readme or license file in the JDK folder. Our JDK is not direct from Sun, it came with WebSphere App Server, so maybe IBM left out such files. Anyway, the "java -fullversion" command works. Thanks!

    How hard is it to look at the game description to see if it uses GC ??  Virtually all that have scoring do.
    Then again, you never bothered to even look in the App Store to see whether there was a GC section, and spent more time posting here than it would have taken to find out for yourself.

  • What version of Leopard with what version of Logic is MOST STABLE??

    A very simple question really. What version of Leopard, as of now, is the most stable and glitch-free with which version of Logic?? 10.5.1 vs. 10.5.2 vs. L7.2.3 vs. L8.??
    Thanks,
    Jeremy
    <edited by host - see [Terms of Use section 2.6.3|http://discussions.apple.com/help.jspa#terms]>

    Leopard 10.5.2 had introduced many problems, I'd say 10.5.1 is therefor the stable (or safer) one.
    As for Logic, I think LP8 as a universal app is more at home with Intel Macs, but otherwise it's not that simple and you can read plenty opinions on this board on both sides.
    I'd still go with LP8, people go back to L7 as last resort when something is not running well.

  • What versions will work with Windows ME?

    I currently have Firefox 1.something on my aging Windows ME system. My e-mail provider recently upgraded and consequently, I need to be using at least verion 2.0 of Firefox. I downloaded the newest version, but get an error after the files have been extracted and the setup starts to run. Which version(s) of Firefox will work with Windows ME and from where can I download that version?

    The last version that works with Windows ME is Firefox 2.0.0.20 available from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/win32/en-US/

  • What version is compatible with Vista?

    What verion of Adobe Reader is compatible with Vista?

    If you read the Release Notes for 10.x carefully, you will find that the only Windows version that was dropped from support is Windowx XP (in 10.1.12).  Vista is still fully supported.
    Regarding the "crapware": there are a few good alternate PDF viewers out there; the piece of software that you mentioned is not one of them.
    I have tested that software since version 1.0, and each time they sneaked spyware onto my system.  In the first version they didn't even bother to mention it.  In version 2 they gave the user a choice, but installed the spyware anyway, without the possibility to uninstall.  I gave up testing that software after version 4.
    So it's you that needs to use a very good antivirus product.  (Well, everybody should, actually.)

  • What version ilife shipped with 10.4?

    Hi:
    Sorry, searched but couldn't find. I did a clean install and it looks like the ilife apps are older versions. I have iTunes 7.5, iPhoto 5.0.4, Garage Band 2.0.1, iMovie HD 5.0.2, iDvd 5.0.1. Are these iLife '06 apps?
    TIA and Happy New Year!

    The retail Mac OS X 10.4 package does not include any version of iLife; if you used your computer's original disks to reinstall Mac OS X 10.4, you will have the same iLife version that originally shipped with it, which varies with the model and purchase date.
    You have the iLife 05 applications.

  • What versions of JDK can I upgrade iWS 6.0 SP2 to, on Windows platform?

    I know that iWS 6.0 SP2 ships with JRE 1.2.2 for Windows, and supports 1.2.2 for windows. Can I upgrade my JDK to 1.4 and use iWS? Will iWS support JDK 1.4

    Hi,
    The latest release of iWS6.0SP2 supports JDK 1.3.1.
    But JDK 1.4 is in the roadmap for iWS future release.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • What version of java with BI EE ???

    hello there
    I try java 1.5.0_15 and java 1.5.0_10 to work with BI EE, but with the both the dashboard and publisher don't work because they need to load java files(_default.java, _login.java) and in those pages work with JSP servlets. The both files are not compiled.
    may be the problem will be resolved if I install java 1.4.2 ?
    thank you

    The version of java is not the problem. all 1.4.2, 1.5, 1.6 are good.
    I will say another way : oc4j jsp environment. may be the problem is here ?? i will tell you if it is !!

  • What version works best with Windows2000

    I have a PC with 2 GBs of RAM, running W2K, primarily. I had avoided upgrading from the Firefox 3.x.x series ( or 5 ? ) because it was my understanding that it was the last one suitable for Windows2000. Not long ago, I got an automatic robot request from Firefox to update, and tried to make sure it was still within the compatibility range for W2k.
    I thought that I was getting a minor update to a W2K version, but instead, have Firefox 12, which has totally disrupted my internet activity because it constantly bogs down into barely running, or else freezes up for long periods, and frequently crashes.
    I want to roll back to whatever I'd used before this disaster. And if there's any special ways to do that, I want to know how it works. Thanks.
    Kiwi

    You can get Firefox 3.6.28 here:
    * http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
    Be sure to set it so that it will not auto update. In the about:config window, set these items to false:
    * app.update.auto
    * app.update.enabled

  • What version works best with Windows ME? I have V. 2.

    I occasionally get a message about a stuck script. It's a lot better than the constant java errors from Explorer 5.5, but I'd prefer not being interrupted at all.
