What was the required code to check the Idle of the application in wedbynpr

Hi all
we have the requirement as follows.
in webdynpro application we have only one view , inside a view we have many UI elements like TableUi,buttons,checkboxes,radio buttons and also sorting and filtering fucntionalities in a table . for TableUI element, the data has come from SAP R3 system and getting the records displayed in table after calling the BAPI.
based on the actions of checkboxes, radio buttons, buttons, sorting and filtering in a table then the table records has been displayed in a table from BAPI into Table UI element based on the actions of button,checboxes, sorting and filtering in a table etc.
currently we have a TimedTrigger UI element in a view , based on the time we had set as 30 seconds then the table records are getting updating from Backend to Table UI on Calling BAPI that is fine.
Now our requirement is we want to enable TimedTrigger UI element only the application is idle means when not performed due to any action in a view then only we want to trigger the TimedTrigger UI element.suppose when any action like sorting & filtering or button action,checkbox action is happend then we want to stop the TimedTrigger UI element not to refresh.
How to  check Application status whether it is Idle or not , is there any required to check the status of the applicaiton at View level then only we will write the code by making the condition saying that if application is Idle then perform the TimedTrigger UI element for refreshing the records from BAPI into Table UI element otherwise stop the TimedTrigger UI element if it is not an Idle means there is no action performed in a View due to any of the UI elements.
we dont want to check the conditon at each and every action of UI element and we want the same to check single time like whether any action is happend or not in any of UI element?
If any body have the code then Please share me then it would be great help to me.

Maintain a flag using session attributes it to one when the user is logs in set it to value.... and change set it zero or invalidate that session... when the user is logged out...
use something like this while user had logged in
session.setAttribute("flag",<unique_number>);
for checking whether the user had logged in or not...
if(Integer.parseInt(session.getAttribute("flag").toString())=!<unique_number>){
out.println("The session had expired");
out.close();
}
