As of today synchronization fails between my Ipad2 and MacBook using ITunes 10.4. Synch gets as far as step 5 then advises me that I do not have sufficient rights. It seems this is when it is trying to copy from the IPad to the MacBook hard drive but I am not certain of that fact.

Plenty of space. I think I may have tracked it down to a ITune U item that was downloaded directly to th IPad while on the road. I have deleted the seemingly offensive item from the IPad and it seemed to have fixed the problem. I will know for sure later today when I try to synch again. I will keep you informed.

Go up to the Apple icon on the upper left hand corner of your screen (menu bar).
Click that, and then "More Info". and then "More Info" again.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

You cannot download the upgrade to Snow Leopard.

thank you for your response, i appreciate it. there's definitely nothing wrong with the mouse or trackpad, both work fine in every other application....i can also easily change size dimensions in other programs on my computer so it doesn't seem to be that either. it seems like there is something weird going on in the way that pse and my mac are interacting with each other, just wish i knew what it was. thank you again, wish me luck!

Open the PP project.
Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
Set up a new PP project.
Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
This will get you back up an running.
Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
You will keep cut points, crop fx.
Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work.
