When ever I Start up iPhoto or iWeb I get the following message cropping up over and over again. 'problem connecting to server....'

I get the following message;
There was a problem connecting to the server Tony ThompsonMacBook
If I look at my server connections then I always have the entry afp://192.168.1.68 which is not one of my ip addresses, if I remove it next time I look it has reloaded!
I have removed all the reference to shares with my macbook
Nothing seems to stop this message popping up other thclosing down the apps
Can anybody help please

UPDATE;
I've now narrowed the problem down further.
It seems that every time I open any app on my Mac and select File/Open,  or in iTunes, Add to Library then select Photos from the Media section of the Sidebar,  then I get this error message where it is picking up a reference to my none existent MacBook laptop.
There error message continually pops up onto my screen until I close whichever app I loaded..... If I relaunch the app and don't try to access Photos in the Sidebar, then I do not get this error message.
Does this info make it easier for somebody to suggest a solution?
