When I connect my ipad to my PC it syncs with itunes but afterwards none of the itunes options "summary, info, apps, tones, music, TV shows, photos

When I click on one of the options the gray circle appears over the option but that is all. If I click on music I don't get the option to sync anything. The screen doesn't even change. And the "done" button isn't able to be clicked. The only way to exit out is to click the "ipad" eject button.

Try swiping your finger across the podcast then tap Delete.

HT1386 iPad or iPhone won't sync with iTunes

My iPad or iPhone will not sync with iTunes. I have googled it and none of those suggestions worked. I don't see the device listed in the sidebar or on the top. It doesn't recogonize the unit when I first plug it in as to what I want to do. I have shut it off and turned it back on but nothing happens. All the software is up to date.

Upgrade to Snow Leopard - it's compatible with the latest version of iTunes, and still supports PowerPC applications.

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

Not sure I understand. You can set it up however you like.
You can certainly share contacts and e-mail while not sharing anything else.
Ope itunes, connect iphone, select the contact program/service that you would like, select the calendar service program and calendars, select the music, photos, apps, books, etc, sync. Set up whtever e-mail address(es) you like on the iphone itself.
Do the same for all of the other idevces that you like.

New iPad Air won't sync with iTunes on Windows 8

Hello,
I have an iPad Air that will not sync with iTunes. That same machine however syncs with my original iPad and iPad 2 with no issues.
Only thing that happens when I connect the iPad Air to the PC is a tile/window pops up like it is looking for photos on the USB device?
I have tried disabling, uninstalling/reinstalling, updating the driver, all with no success. I even factory reset the iPad Air and didn't change the outcome.
I can tell you that the iPad Air is running the latest firmware, my iTunes is the latest version, and Windows 8.1 is up to date, as well as both other iDevices syncing error free.
Any insight anyone could provide on what I could be missing would be greatly appreciated.
