When I connect my iPhone 5, iTunes opens and the sync begins. It goes all the way through the process then stays on "Finishing Sync" and never continues. It doesn't do this with my iPad 2 on the same computer. How can I get the iPhone to finish syncing?

I am using a Dell XPS 8200 running Windows 7 Professional.

not sure if this is a permanent fix but, ever since upgrading to itunes 11.3.1, my iphone5 seems to finish syncing on its own, now. didn't seem to be a problem anymore. at least after doing only one sync, since the upgrade.
(stiil have a blank "purchased" page at itunes store, though).

i purchased a cd but when downloaded to my computer some of the tracks was missing how can i get the missing tracks to download???

On computer go into iTunes store, in the Quicklinks section click on purchased, go to music not on this computer and you should find all music still in the cloud.
On phone open music, choose store at top of screen, then choose the More option at bottom of next screen, look in downloads where anything waiting to download should be. If nothing there go to Purchased, click on Music, Not on this Phone and you should see any iTunes music you have bought that is not downloaded to the phone.

Have you tried stopping the movie and trying to start it again.
Unfortunately you cannot re-download rentals. If the problem continues, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History.

If you failed to backup for some reason, transfer them from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

There are a lot of ways that the keyboard layout could be different. You could describe what you are seeing so that we don't have to guess.
If the keyboard is split and covering your text, Pull the two ends of the keyboard together - into the middle of the screen. You can also tap and hold down on the little keyboard icon in the lower right corner of the keyboard and select - Dock and Merge.
If the keyboard is up on the middle of the screen, but not split, and you want to move it back to the bottom - tap and hold down on the little keyboard and icon and select - Dock
You can turn the split keyboard off in Settings>General>Keyboard>Split Keyboard>Off.
As Ralph explained, you may have different keyboards enabled in the settings as well. The globe key lets you switch from keyboard to keyboard.
You may also have a different keyboard layout selected in Setrings>General>Keyboards>Your language. There are hardware and software keyboard choices in there.

You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

FCPX 10.0.8 does the 30 seconds of beachball for every single action. Did not do this with 10.0.3. Same computer. Same video footage.

I upgraded FCPX 10.0.3 to 10.0.8, then upgraded all the old footage per instructions. Now, with same computer and importing new video footage from the same camera as before (my iPhone), every single action (keyboard or mouse) takes a minute of spinning beachball before it executes. Can't be memory shortage--it's the same computer. Can't be the video quality--it's just iPhone, as before. I made no preference changes. What's up?

I am a big fan of OnyX, which has bailed me out of problems many times (and which DS Store mentions). One of the functions it offers is a Verify function; it can be set to find corrupted preference files.I also have found that their cache cleaning function works well.
