When I had 10.6.8, itunes would leave a left over amount in itunes apps. When I got the upgrade to 10.7 I thougt the problem would go away but it did not. There is a bug in the app system and I think it should be resolve quickly.

I would got to up date them and there would be no apps to up date. 2 days later I would go to up date apps and it would show I have 15 apps to update when I really have 6 then it would add on more invisable apps to which is not there. There is a bug in itunes that needs to be fixed please fix this app section. I have sent letters about this before and you did not listen. I a beta tester and I hate it when my requests don't get fixed.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).

Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar

Assuming you've done a system wide search for it including the Applications folder and it's not there......
I think you will need to address this with them - did you pay them for the application? Or was your purchase price to include it? And the question(s) to ask them:
If the app store states that it has been downloaded, ask them where it is and which Apple ID they used. (the store keeps track of Apple IDs and machine IDs on everything you download).
I have absolutely no faith in their advice; however, in this case, it's not so much technical advice, but an answer to your questions: you paid for something and it appears not to be there.

I doubt it, a burn folder is just a temporary folder that hold aliases of the locations of files so you don't have to move the orignais.
One you burned a disk and are done, you simply trash the burn folder.
However Hotmail is a dangerous place, you REALLY should opt to use GMail. Yahoo mail is kind of safe, they had malware on the adds on their site though.
Apply your Software Update, download the free ClamXav and run a scan on your drive just to see if you have downloaded something.
Also you should consider upgrading to 10.6 as this allows you to keep using more recent versions of Flash which are more secure than 10.5 versions. Also 10.6 strips out a lot of PowerPC code your not using, makes your computer faster with video driver updates.
Also run ALL of the free OnyX's cleaning and maintainence aspects for your OS version and reboot, should clean out the caches and possible glitches this might be.

Hello, just got a refurbished Macbook as the backlight on 1st gen. Pro went out. Transferred everything but it does not want to let me connect the ipod. I get this message

This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the iPod “John Rowe’s iPod touch 2”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store? When I click authorize it gives me a very old email sign in.
I change it to the current with password and then I get this message.
This computer is already authorized.
Including this one, you have authorized 4 computers out of your available 5.
And this goes around in a circle.
Any advice?

You don't need to access your e-mail account, just get into your Apple account and change the e-mail address. If you can't access your Apple account, then you have a bigger issue to contend with.

This does help me because I am pondering on wether to buy an airport extreme to solve my ipad 2 connection woes. I have an extremely old router dLink 524....but I have NEVER had any problems with it at all ever. My xbox connected great to it and netflix ran flawless through my xbox.....now I have an ipad2 and an apple tv and they are BOTH having horrible connection problems. I have read most of the forums on how to fix it by changing the settings on my router but since mine is so old I couldn't do some of the suggested solutions. So here I am debating on whether to spend all this $ on an airport extreme? I am just hoping that if I go and purchase this, my connectivity issues problems will go away like yours did. Just wondering if you have ATV as well and if the AE solved its problems? I have read about AE solving ipad2 wifi problems, I'm just hoping it will solve my ATV as well.

Reboot the iPad by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears. That should get it operational again and you can proceed from there.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

I'm having a similar problem ... just used my iPad 2 to purchase the Bourne trilogy and it downloaded fine but I did not try to play it right away. Then I plugged the iPad into the computer and it downloaded the SD versions of the movie and I used iTunes to sync my movies. Then I tried to play it and it said it could not open the movie. I then did a full iPad restore and did a fresh sync and now I get the Cannot Opne pop up. Did you ever find an answer to your question?
