One area that this appears is on Facebook where it lists the number of Recognized Devices. There are six devices which include iPad and iPhone. These items are grayed and you are unable to change. Also on my iphone it lists the computer name. This name is different from name of my computer. It's what I signed in as when I installed the Mountain Lion upgrade. I know I'm not doing a good job of explaining this. I have searched everywhere on my computer that I can think of and cannot locate where this is used. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't know how to do this. I typed the question in the bar above, but apparently need to type it again here. I know the information is in there as when I type in someone's name in an email the address always shows up right away. How can I find the information for my contacts and restore my address book? Do I need to go to the Apple Store that is 2 hours away and have an expert help me or can I find out how to do it online for free myself?

The auto-complete in Mail addresses comes from two sources: (1) The "Previous Recipients" list, which can be viewed via Mail > Window > Previous Recipients. (2) Your Address Book (now called "Contacts").
If you did in fact lose your Address Book - are you sure you don't have "Contacts" in your Applications Folder? - It sounds like you are getting addresses from source (1). If you did in fact lose your Address Book (now called "Contacts" !!), you will have to restore it from a backup.

A blank drive needs to be formatted first, you do that hold c boot (or hold option key boot) from the 10.6 install disk (or Lion USB)

Adobe PDF printer gets installed when you install Acrobat 10 Pro.
To use this printer you need to purchase Acrobat. Once the trial period is over you cannot use the printer to create pdf files.
An alternative way for you is to utilize Microsoft's own inbuilt pdf engine.
You can simply open the file and select 'Save as' and in the type list select 'pdf'

Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar, swipe left to right, far left is the orientation lock button, tap on/off. Tap home button when finished.

This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

Serial numnbers are platform specific so you will not be able to use it for the Mac if it was initially designated for a PC. YOu will need to perform a platform swap. See the following for information:

Bridge is categorically NOT "editing software". It's just a file browser, no more and no less. Period.
Bridge does not "edit" anything. Bridge doesn't even open anything. It just hands files to the appropriate application, whether this be Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, or even Microsoft Word.
