When I try record or watch any projects on iMovie it shuts down?
This has never happened before but recently whilst trying to record or view projects on iMovie the app suddenly goes blank and my iPad returns to the home screen.How do I fix this?
It seems you are refering to the iOS version of iMovie so try posting in the iPad forum.

I'm using PC. I wonder if it could be a platform-specific problem.
Just for fun while typing this I just stitched a 26221 x 4777 pixel pano of a marina directly from raw files (something I could not do reliably from Photoshop CS5 - I always had to convert the files first). Such an image is particularly challenging as the surface of the water changes completely from shot to shot. It finished successfully in just a couple of minutes.

I am trying to lauch an application on my ipod touch. When I try, it opens for about 2 seconds and then immediately closes. I deleted the application, reset and restarted my ipod and then download the application again. Still no success. The application is legit: Crunchtime for Contracts.
Any suggestions?I suppose the app has problems with your soft and hardware. Or maybe its a known bug of that app.
Try Uninstalling->Rebooting->Installing->Rebooting. -
Error -108 keeps appearing when I try to export/share a project from imovie. what can i do?
I've created a project on imovie and it's finished now. I've tried to share/export it and it wont work. I've emptied my trash, closed time machine and dropbox and deleted files but nothing seems to work.

When I try to connect my Ipod to my Imac it shuts down and goes to reset.
I have an IPod classic and I recently used it to put my purchased music on a PC at work and now it won't sync when I connect it to my Mac. It displays the "do not disconnect screen," shuts down and then displays the reset screen and then loops the whole sequence again. When I disconnect it the menu screen comes back up and it plays like normal.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Photo App Crashes when I try to go to the project tab...
All the way through the betas and now with the final release of the Photos App, my app crashes when I try to go to the "projects" tab. When I first started using it, it worked fine. I was able to make a new slide show but when I tried exporting it, the app crashed. Ever since then, the app crashes when I click on the projects tab. It will show the projects and then spin for a second and then crashes and gives me the following....

3 com.apple.JavaScriptCore 0x00007fff86If the unit has NEVER been jailbroke, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless... Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -
Aperture crashes when I try to create a new project
Hello all, having an odd problem with Aperture crashing when I try to create a new project.
I suspect the problem is likely related to the library file's permissions, as I was previously working with this library as another user (stopped using the account because of issues solved by too many fonts being installed).
The problem occurs when I finish naming the project and hit enter, so presumably when Aperture attempts to save the new project into the library file.
Any ideas?Ha i figured as much...

I am connected to my usual wifi and when I try to go onto any app's which require Internet connection, it says I have no Internet connection yet I am connected to wifi, how do I resolve this?I have had this problem for about a week.
Any responses are appriciatedYou posted in the iPad forum, but you profile lists an iPhone 4S. Does your iPhone or iPad have this problem.
Here's some iPad suggestions. Most also apply to the iPhone. Your iPhone or iPad may show the wifi symbol but that only shows the presence of a wifi signal. Not that you are connected.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

When I go to create a new project in imovie using the iPhone 5, I am not able to see any of my video clips or photos that are saved on the device.
When you move or copy the compound clips with their events into an external drive all the events should be there. Not clear on why you want to move them into a single event. You can drag and drop from one event to another.
Why are you using compound clips? You can simply copy the project from each machine with used media onto the external drive and that should do it. -
It seems that all apple products used in my house at times will not connect to our wifi. It's hit and miss. It says I am connected, but when you try to connect to any search engine it does not. I have disconnected and reconnected the power to the dsl provider and to our wifi units. I have rebooted the computers. I have reentered the password. Still no connection. We do not have connectivity issues with our PC products. Anyone have any answers for me?

Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
