When I try to search for a subject, after clicking search nothing happens.
When trying to search for a site, I type in what I'm looking for, click search & nothing happens.
Is that the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar or a search bar on a page in the browser window?
If it is the latter then does that happen on the about:home or on a web page?

Have a year old ipad- itwill connect ti internet using Safari but sice yesterday will not connect to itunes or allow the purchase of an app. Touching the apps icon on the screen takes me to the apps store but after selecting one, nothing happens (Just the whirling "o" that usually indicates activity.) Nothing happens if I select the itunes icon icon on the screnn> Any thoughts?
I let the little "o" whirl for over half hour with nothing happening. Just now went to Music and the last selection I played appears of the screen but both it or anyother song on album refuses to play - same with videos they show up but nada can,t even erase them - internet connection is via cable - quick enough for most applications.

It was still functioning last night and before I close the firefox window, the problem started. The problem persist until now.
1. Bookmark - tried to check the "help" list for lost bookmark but none of them seems to suit the problem i'm facing. The menu tab is there, but when i click on "Bookmarks", my previous bookmark list is not there. When I try to bookmark a new page, there is no window popping up (usually there is a small window pop-up to ask for the label of the website to be bookmarked).
2. The website address tab - usually we have a list of website that we usually visit so we just need to click on the arrow and click on the webpage that we want to visit. But now, I have to type the website address every single time. There is no drop down when i click on the arrow.
Can someone tell me what is wrong with it and please help me to solve this problem. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

My MacBok Pro suddenly magnified the desktop display significanlty. All programmes and applications are similarly magnified when open. I tried zooming out using Ctrl - and I also tried holding down the Option key and scrolling down using the mouse. Nothing happens to zoom out of the desktop and on Facebook for example the columns get smaller but the text doesn't so lines of text end up overlayed each other. What can I do to remedy the situation?

I've tried several times now, but every time I try to open Premiere Pro the Adobe application manager opens, and nothing more happens.
Okay, I'm a super-noob, so please bare with me. This is what I've done so far...
*Installed the 30 day free trial version of Premiere pro CC (2014), which led me to install "Adobe creative cloud". From there I installed Premiere Pro.
*When I double clicked on the Premiere Pro icon after successful installation the icon only appeared briefly on my dock before it was replaced by the "Adobe application manager" icon. No new windows appeared and nothing happened.
*I then tried to uninstall Premiere Pro, but the uninstall window looked broken. There was only "-" symbols where there was supposed to be text.
*Since I didn't know what to click on in the uninstall "guide" I closed it down and dragged the entire Premiere Pro icon to my waste bin, and the emptied it.
*Thought I'd try to install the trial version again, and that something might have gone wrong the first time around. When I tried that I was only redirected to the Creative cloud where the Premier Pro icon is still listed under installed apps.
*I then tried to uninstall Creative cloud and re-installed it in hopes that it would update and let me install Premiere Pro again, but the damn thing still thinks I have Premiere pro installed.
I'm really frustrated now, and have no idea what to try next. If adobe had some kind of phone support I'd call them, but this is the only place I have found when I try to click on support.
Please help if you can. I'm attending a course soon where I need to have premiere pro installed on my mac. -

I am trying to add an XP netbook to sync. I go to tools/set up sync. Neither the Connect nor Create a New Account buttons work. (I tried the Create a New Account just to see if it works)
The Cancel button does work.
What is the problem?Before I remembered sync existed I tried mozbackup which had worked for years but this time it was denied access to signons2.txt. The next attempt was to follow the instructions for copying all of the appdata/.../... folder. Those instructions told me to create a new profile on the computer I wanted to copy the files to. I did that then I remembered sync. Sync would not function on that computer until I deleted the new profile and had only the default one. Then it was happy.
Is sync supposed to work on machines with more than one profile or could it have worked if I had selected the default profile from profile manager? Should Mozbackup worked on firefox 6.01? -
Why isn't my iTunes store loading properly? It lists everything in text without images, and I can't seem to access the store when I try to search for music or movies etc.
1) The best way to relocate the iTunes library folder is to move the entire iTunes folder with all subfolders to the new path, then press and hold down shift as start iTunes and keep holding until prompted to choose a library, then browse to the relocated folder and open the file iTunes Library.itl inside it.
If you've done something different then provide some more details about what is where and I should be able to help.
2) Purchases on the device should automatically transfer to a Purchased on <DeviceName> playlist, but it my depend a bit on whether automatic iCloud downloads are enabled. If there is a cloudy link then the transfer might not happen. You can use File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. In iTunes you should also check out iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
3) Backup the device, then immediately restore it. In some cases you need to add a restore as new device into that equation. Obbviously not to be attempted until you're sure all your media is in your library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device should it be needed.
4) I believe there is complimentary 1 incident 90-day support with hardware purchases, but no free software support for iTunes itself. AppleCare gets you a different level of support.

Why does Safari go into limbo when I try to search for some things? I start to enter something in the search window. I get a drop down with suggestion I choose one and it pops up in my search window but just turns a color and does nothing!
If I quit Safari and bring it back up, then enter the exact same line it's fine. This is just one of the many problems I've been
having with Safari since I installed Yosemite.
Has anyone got any suggestions or is anyone having the same problem. Is there a way to maybe force my MacBook pro to reinstall Safari or possibly all of Yosemite. I seem to be having a lot of problems and judging by the responses I've received (That would be None) I must be the only one having any problem at all withYosemite. Not sure what to do.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

The warning about the warranty is light hearted, I think at one stage it warned "here be dragons" but also intended to make us think as it warns that making changes may produce problems. -
Why does the App Store on my iPod kick me out when I try to search for an app?
The App Store on my iPod touch keeps kicking me out when I try to search for an app or when I go to genius. I updated to ios6 today and this hasn't happened before. What can I do?
I have the same problem on my iPod Touch 4 (IOS6). My iPhone 4S (IOS6) works fine. But the App Store crashes when I hit the Genius bar in App Store. Apparently other folks are having this same problem. I've rebooted, but that doesn't help.
