When I use my home phone, my internet turns off.

whenever anyone uses any hom ephones in my home, the internet shuts off. why is that? any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have a wireless computer connection and cordless phones (not cellular), the phones' frequency can interfere with that of the wireless router. If either the wireless router or the phones' base station allow you to adjust frequencies, changing one of them to a different frequency often fixes the problem.
The ability to adjust the frequency depends entirely on the brand and model of the router and, similarly, the phones. If you have a Apple Airport Extreme Base Station, ask in the forums for that product:
AirPort
If the router is not an Apple brand, you'll need to look at the support pages on the router manufacturer's web site.
