When I visit websites like gmail,yahoomail,facebook..etc. and I start typing my username firefox automatically saves it and the next time I visit that site again it automatically suggests the previous username.....I don't want this....How to change this?

If just the username is being saved, and not the password, too, it is being saved in Form History. See this: <br />

If the Reset/Reboot doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -
As I stated above, I purchased mmlp2 on iTunes but it didn't tell me that it was the censored version, I don't want this version and it's really annoying to listen to. Is there a way that I could exchange the clean version for the explicit one or even get my money back? Thanks
Explicit versions will have 'explicit' (or a red 'E') against them in the store, if it's not labelled then it will be clean.
Purchases are considered final but you can try 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see if they will credit or refund you so that you can buy the explicit version : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

In some folders I get duplicates (or even multiple) copies of the same photograph. How do I stop this happening or when it does how do I delete the extra copies I don't want. Plus from time to time the photos in one folder will appear in another? Do they do this when I'm asleep? Help please

I would like to freeze saving to icloud and perhaps transfer some of that data to my own external hard drive. I don't want to lose anything already stored there, but don't want to purchase anymore cloud space. How do i accomplish this?
It seems that saving to iCloud is a default. My Pages documents automatically save there unless I change to save to destination. I probably just need help in setting up the cloud. When I tried to change the setting, though, it told me that if I made the change, all data on icloud would be eliminated and i don't want that. I would ideally like to save everything on my external HD and not bother with iCloud. Certainly don't want to buy more storage space. Thanks for replying so promptly.

I have 2 iPads. When downloading an app on one, it also appears on the other. I don't want to create a second iTunes account. How do I stop this?
On the device you do not want the auto downloads to be installed on: Settings/iTunes & App Store. Deselect what you do not want to be automatically downloaded.

I have updated to iTunes 10 and now my unchecked songs are playing... I don't want this and can't figure out how to have it like it was before (not playing unchecked songs). Please help! I leave the unchecked songs in there b/c there will come a point in time where I want to listen to these songs but right now I don't.
yes, 10.3.1, iTunes already restarted, menu settings already like that and still it will play all unchecked songs (including the checked songs of course). Why even have check and unchecked if the program is going to play all of them anyway?!

My children just got iPods touch. I registered them on my account so they can have acces to my I tunes Acc. Now they have all my list of contacts receive my messages have my music my pics, also when they install an app like pandora they have all my stations, things that they don't want. How can I fix this.
As for iMessage, you do Settings -> Messages (scroll down) -> where it says iMessage, turn the switch to off.
As for pictures, you do Settings -> iCloud -> Photo Stream -> My Photo Stream -> turn switch off.
As for apps, you do Settings -> iTunes & App Stores (scroll down alot) -> Music, Apps, Books are all swtiched off.
If you want to the delete the music, you go onto the music app and slide your finger from right to left on the song. -
Bug? iTunes forced me to encrypt backup - I don't want this. How can I stop it?
It's all in the title really...
When I just did the latest sync of my wife's phone, iTunes insisted that the backup needs to be encrypted. I looked down, the option is unchecked. It has never been checked. I unplugged the phone. I shutdown itunes and rebooted. But when I plugged her phone in again, it again has said I MUST encrypt this backup. Why have I never needed to do this before? Why has apple decided I must do this now?
So reluctantly I put a password on it, thinking that once it's on, I can uncheck it later.... nope...
So I enter a password, which I REALLY don't want to do.
I sync, backup complete... The encryption option is now dulled, I can't uncheck it...
Changing the password does nothing to remove it because you can't leave the new password blank.
I have not forgot my password, I just don't want one.
and please, no suggestions or comments that I should encrypt them all, it's up to me. I just don't want it for either of our phones!
edit: and now it's done it to my phone too... This is BS...

Why does this phone now REQUIRE the backup to be encrypted?
I hope someone has a solution here, because I've already researched people losing data because of forgetting passwords and the like... I just don't want this stuff stuffed up in any way, I need to keep this as simple as possible for my wife!Ok, I'm back home now, and I've uninstalled the profile that was required by the M1 carrier in Singapore (free plug). Doing this has allowed me to make an unencrypted backup of my phone! YAY!!!
It has also allowed me the option of UNCHECKING the encryption option on my wife's phone...
As you can see, I can uncheck it, and it gives me an option to enter the password to UNLOCK the encryption.
This has now been done and encryption removed!!!
Message was edited by: iMadivad - in trying to unlock the backup, I initially used the wrong password. I had actually put the innitial password in incorrectly. It took quite a few goes at getting it right, I had mistyped a double character sequence. I had at least 10 goes at getting this right, it appears there's no limit to the number of times you can try and get the password right - I suppose, this is why there are brute force attacks on unlocking this file out there. -
Why do I get constant Game Center notifications when I'm playing games? Seriously, if there isn't an easy way to turn off these notifications, I'll be switching to a Microsoft phone at my next upgrade. I don't want this garbage popping up while I play my games. How is Apple ignoring their customers, exactly? If you don't want Game Center, why did you sign into it?
Sign out, launch an enabled game. Game Center pops up, close it, launch the game again, it pops up, close it again.
Now it doesn't pop up any longer.

What is "Ask Home Page"? I don't want this product. How to turn it off?

The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.
