When importing one album it will often get split once in i tunes. how do i get all my albums to stay together
When i import an album it can sometimes get split up in itunes especially if it has featured artists on board. I need to find a way to keep all songs on one album. Can anybody help me?

I'm having a lot of issues with firefox and cannot figure out how to get help. It began when I updated to 13. I get all kinds of ad popups, I cannot play one game on FaceBook called Farm Town at all, and I keep getting an AVG popup about cookies that I cannot get rid of. Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />

I get the impression that iTunes essentials are just lists of tracks.
iTunes uses the Artist and album information to determine the artwork so it should pick up the appropriate artwork for each track if the album and artist are correct.
Certainly this is the case for an album consisting of tracks from several albums - if the artist and album name are set to the original album. -
I am getting error messages when importing CD's. I keep getting a message saying 'unable to connect to CDDB server'. I run itunes on a macbook pro. Any ideas/solutions?
Don't worry I've sorted it! I just had to turn off Reminders as well in iCloud. Calendar then worked fine, even when I turned Calendar and Reminders back on.

True black converting to rich black when importing one specific PDF
I am using InDesign CC. When importing one particular CMYK PDF file into my document, the black text is converting to 4-color rich black. I have InDesign 5.0 on another computer. Following the same procedure on that computer, the text remains 100% K. My settings are the same, as far as I can tell.
Other designers across the country using this same ad have no problem. The text remains 100% K. We are all using InDesign, but I am the only one using InDesign CC.
I do not have this problem with any other ads (so far), but I have been using CC for only two months.
Any ideas?It has been over a month since I walked through her settings with her, Rob, and the minute details have been replaced in my brain. I do know that she built the ad in CMYK, used 100%K for text, left the layers unflattened, ensured she had a background layer. In her PDF output settings, she converted to destination, and her destination profile was CMYK SWOP 2. I had her try CMYK web uncoated v2, as well. I don't recall what her overall color setting was set to (North America General Purpose? Custom? Again, nothing that alarmed me).
Sorry I don't have more details. She isn't interested in helping me investigate this further, since I am the only one with difficulties.
As far as changing the assigned profile within InDesign, yes, I tried that. It didn't help. I believe I exhaused all possible combinations for output.
Good to hear (in a sick sort of way) about the problems with Acrobat. I had read about Acrobat having difficulties with preserving numbers, so I wasn't as concerned about the output preview. But on the other hand, I wasn't sure if it might be an "a-ha" symptom for this particular PDF.

The iPhone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iPhone. The exception is iTunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
You would have to transfer all purchases.

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.

When importing files, my view window to search for files is really small, how do I make it bigger so I can actually search for files?
How big this is depends on the size of your screen. On a 13" it is really small. But you can improve things a bit. Click the green button to make the import window fill the screen.

It could be bad headphones. Try another pair. It could be gunk in the headphone jack. Try cleaning it out. It could be a bad headphone jack. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.

IPod shows "STaT" when playing one album
I was at Best Buy tonight and wanted to try out the iPhone/iPod docks so I stuck my iPhone3GS in. I wanted to hear the next radio so I pulled the phone out as it was playing and stuck it into the next dock. Now this album shows "STaT" whenever I bring up scrubbing slider...but ONLY for this album that was playing when I pulled it out.

nullThanks for the suggestion. The on-the-go playlist seems to work to the best and gets me the result I want. It just ***** that I need to do this for every artist every time I want to listen to more than one album. Perhaps this shall have to be a feature request.

hello trailfac67, well I am also new to Mac but I have 5000 song it .....and also audio book, the trick is that when you download it select them all before import , say no when ask to download them and highlight them all in blue and then you go to : file and then to : get info ,then select: options tab and then go to: gapless album and scroll to select yes and it shoul check it automaticaly if not check gapless album. this will keep all your audio chapters in order like they should. you can do this also if you already have import them, just highlight them all and do the same as I said on top. well it work well for me so you should be ok too. sorry if i spell wrong...I am french.! but my itune is in english. let us know if it work for you also, bye salut lulu
