When JDev (9.0.4/9.0.5/?) runnable with JDK 1.4.x?

I installed JDeveloper 9.0.3.1 on a Red Hat 8 system with JDK 1.4.1_01 and have using it successfully for non-GUI, non-BC4J development. I have been following the discussions and understand there are potential problems but I haven't hit any yet and have really enjoyed the improved performance.
Over the weekend I also installed JDK 1.4.2_beta. I reinstalled JDeveloper 9.0.3.1. WOW! JDeveloper went from sluggish but useable to not bad at all (as did a lot of Java GUI apps I use).
I did find some new and interesting JDBC problems (ones I did not have with JDK 1.4.1_01) but was able to solve them by adding a library with the JDK 1.4.x specific JDBC drivers (ojdbc14.jar) to my projects.
My question is ... when (days, weeks, months?) will some version, preview or production, 9.0.3.x, 9.0.4, 9.0.5, whatever be supported (ie available on OTN) with JDK 1.4.x+ (preferably 1.4.2+)?

I am assuming I may take this as confirmation that JDev 9.0.4 will, in fact, support JDK 1.4.x (hopefully including 1.4.2 as there appears to be a real performance bump from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2). Please correct me if I am wrong so that I may adjust my expectations.
I understand your inability and reluctance to provide precise dates. I do not ask for that. It would, however, aid my planning, and adjustment of expectations, if you could provide an estimate of JDev 9.0.4 availibility within an "order of calendar magnitude". That is, are we talking weeks, months, quarters, or years? As an example, at this time apps like Mozilla on Red Hat 9 seem to require use of the newest JDK 1.4.x. If a JDev which can run under 1.4.x will be unavailable for some time, I and my customer will have to install the older RH8 on new workstations. If it will be available in a relatively short time we can plan on the ability to use RH9.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

When I turn on my iMac it comes up with the icon which I then log into. The password works and I then get the apple icon and the spinning wheel. After a minute it turns into a prohibited icon. If I log on the guest icon I get to Safari. Help!

Are you running any A-V? If it's an iMac 21.5, I don't think you're running Leopard, 10.5. Probably at least Snow Leopard, 10.6. This is the Leopard forum.

Try a Safe Boot. Shift at the startup chime and expect a much longer time to boot. This will bring you to a login screen with "Safe Boot" in red.

Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with networks that require any kind of authentication other than a WPA or WPA2 Personal password.

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport

> Change it to the old apple id that your device is asking for
> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation

> Change it back to the correct apple id
> Go to the email address adn reverify the apple id
> Sign back into iCloud on your device

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.<br />
You can try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

Thank you for the question. This behavior is normal if updated on another Apple ID account holders computer. To change the Apple ID on your device, follow the steps in the article below.

That message means that you have to restore the iPad now. There was a problem with the update. So connect the iPad to your computer and restore your iPad.

Or you can follow these Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
