When looking at my purchased apps within the app store, there is a section for "Not on This iPhone". How do I permanently delete previously purchased apps that I never want to see/use again?
How do I permamently delete previouly purchased apps from showing up in the "Not on This iPhone" section of the app store?
These apps aren't showing up in iTunes. They only show up in the purchased list on my iPhone. But I guess there is no way to hide them in the App Store view?

The tech support people can help with Playbook purchased apps. If you've called and they said they cannot, you were lied to.
Even in the link you posted, in #10, it states clearly "App Refund related matters are handled by BlackBerry Customer Care." That, my friend is accessed by the support number. Again, if you were told otherwise, you should inform them of such or ask for a manage/supervisor.
And, you don't have a "Partner ID" because you are not a "Partner". The section you're referring to applies to mobile providers, which are the Partners.

i forget the details because its been awhile since i had a computer but....there is indeed a way to permanently delete files from itunes. what i recall of the method is this: itunes stores a record of your files in two places. you must delete the both of those to permanently delete the app (works for songs too).
this was on snow leo. im guessing (a) harder to get to those two places in the reborn os (i didnt try when i had a mac running lion. too busy solving keychain issues....) and (b) that its still the same when you do find those files.
sorry this is so vague but i wanted to note that its not impossible to do. -

You would have to contact Apple and see if they would grant an exception and allow you to create another one. There's nothing you can do on your phone (that I know of) to correct this.

You can't permanetly delete any item from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them via your computer's iTunes so that they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
You can delete downloaded ibooks from the bookshelf in the iBooks app on your device via the Edit button at the top of the bookshelf -

They are not taking up storage space. Apple knows you installed them at one time (="purchased", whether you paid money or not), and merely keeps a list so that if you wish to reinstall any of them on this or a future device, you can. This is useful if maybe you deleted them due to space constraints, and now have a device with more memory and wish to reinstall.
It's also useful for taking a trip down Memory Lane looking at all the useless apps you installed once then immediately deleted once you realized they were total garbage ... -
I go to a website(link, etc...) & I never want to go there again, but sometime(anytime) later I come across some page that seems to be useful. I downloaded a free coldplay album using the 12 days of christmas app a few days ago and now want to delete it - the music and video - not the app. I've removed theem all from my itunes but when i sync again they all re-appear and they never come off my phone. They take up space so I want them gone - i dont care if they appear on my purchases list (as a receipt blah blah blah)
My phone is only set to sync music from 2 playlists, a few podcasts - no video at all and the tick box about musci video us left blank - so why is itunes forcing these files back onto my device?
I never intend watching them again - so I need to remove the files from my phone and my itunes - pretty simple really but I dont appear toe be allowed to so it?
Clues anybody??I should add that 'purchased' under playlists in the music sction has not been ticked. And if untick music completely then the audio bar (pale blue) shrinks to zero - but the video bar (purple) remains unchanged. Why can I not opt to un-sync all video and purchases?

How do I permanently delete a purchase from my available downloads.
I purchased a tv show from iTunes that came with a regular version as well as a HD version. I do not want to download the HD version as it is estimated to take 5 hours and it is a duplicate. Every time I try to download new purchases this program begins to download. I have stopped the download, tried to delete it, unchecked it and it still reappears under "available for download".Is there a way to permanently delete this without having to download it?

When I try to download a app from my new iPad and my iPhone 5 there are security questions that I may of forgot. But it works perfectly on my iPod . Is there any way to change the security passwords back to something I know ?
It seems to me this is craxy - I can play personal videos and put my pics up on the TV via wireless - but not things I bought through itunes. I guess I ahve to ask myself w hy I would want to keep buying things through itunes if I want to watch them on my TV> If I buy thorugh Amazon prime or netflix, I can watch in either place. SUrely Apple isn't that shortsighted?

Windows XP, Firefox 3.6.13 version, I am thinking it would be better to back up to a previous version of Firefox that did work! What was the latest version as of October 2010?
Thanks to some hints in several strings, I went back to the Control Panel in XP, clicked on Sounds and Devices, clicked on Audio, then changed the default device to the Realtek HD Audio output I have on my computer. Now I can hear You Tube video sound and other Internet audio fine, at least for now. I will come back if it stops again. Thanks to all who posted.

I have an app that does NOT run properly on my iPad2. My husbnd has the SAME app and his works just fine. I want the app GONE, I don't want to just "hide" it. I'd like to redownload the app. I believe I just got a bad download of the file. After "hiding" the app and reinstalling it, I still have the same problem... no sound.

I updated iTunes on my windows 7 laptop and I updated my iOS on my iphone4 and I used a USB to plug it into my computer but it doesn't have the "iPhone"" icon appear in the corner of the screen. I have registered for iOS developer program (99$) one .
Now I am trying to block the app name which i will upload soon . When i go to itunes connect and create a new app and provide all the information needed, I get the error "Please enter a company name to use within the iTunes Store."
Can someone help me out on this ?I have the same error, but I think we will get no solution for this problem.
You've get no answer here and the Apple support also doesn't send an answer how to solve the problem.
BTW I have also Windows 7 and the newest version of iTunes 64-bit.
