When mapp interface to web service, it gets problem (PI 7.1)

Hi,
I'm trying to map Interface (synchronous) to Webservice. (PI 7.1)
I imported .wsdl file in external definition.I defined data types, message types and i used SoapIn and SoapOut to Message types.
Now i'm trying to map Message interface to SoapIn in Request tab and SoapOut in Response Tab.
It does not get SoapIn and SoapOut in list.
I had to write manuely them. When i mapp Message Interface to SoapIn (Request).
When i click Response tab at the right side it writes SoapIn (not SoapOut).
I saved Interface mapping.
When i activate, it get error. It says error below.
How can i solve this problem?
Thanks.

Hi,
In Design Time:
1) Create Data type, Message type and Outbound Syncronous Service Interface for Sender.
2) Import the WSDL file (which is under porttypes folder) as external definitions. The request and the
    response messages are seen in the messages tab.
3) Create Inbound Syncronous Service Interface using the message types in external definition.
4) You need to create two Objets mapping OM_Request and OM_Response
    Request Object mapping between request MT and the SOAPIN message from the WSDL.
    Similarly, Response Object mapping between the response MT and the SOAPOUT message from
    the WSDL
5) Create one Interface mapping for request and response. Click on Read messages.....and then include
   the MMs created in 1 and 2 as Req and Response messages accordingly....
Aactivat all the objects. Hope this help you

  • Error when calling an external web service (blank soap action)

    I did a lot of searching on this message and did not find an answer. Most of the issues i found related to XI/PI, which we are not using.
    There is a web service created outside of SAP for which i generated (from the WSDL) a proxy class in my DEV system, client 050, a few years ago. This was subsequently moved to QA and production, and all is working fine.
    Now, i want the same web service to work in client 100. I created the logical port, and the RFC destination, but when i try to call the web service, i get the following error
    Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction
    Since only the basis group around here can access the logical port definition,and rfc destination, i have no idea where this information should be set up. I should not have to reimport the WSDL, since the proxy was imported from DEV to QA and it is working in QA client 050. There is something i need to set up, specific to client 100, and i am missing it. I looked in SOAMANAGER, and i didnt see anything even set up  there for client 050, so i did set up anything for client 100.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I tried adding the web reference in a console app and works fine. In the plugins this can't be done, because the plugins are deploy in database.
    I tried another basic test using ChannelFactory. Only want to retrieve some entity through the external web services:

    IOrganizationService service = localContext.OrganizationService;
    ITracingService tracer = localContext.TracingService;

    binding.Security.Mode = BasicHttpSecurityMode.None;
    binding.Security.Transport.ProxyCredentialType = HttpProxyCredentialType.None;
    binding.Security.Transport.ClientCredentialType = HttpClientCredentialType.None;
    EndpointAddress endpoint = new EndpointAddress(@"http://*****.svc");
    ChannelFactory<IAxxisWcfServices> factory = new ChannelFactory<IAxxisWcfServices>(binding, endpoint);
    IAxxisWcfServices channel = factory.CreateChannel();

    Well... this is definitelly not a requirement.
    The code snippet came from the test (junit) for something which is much bigger. And of course the 1-char long table name has nothing to do with desing. At all.
    We have a system where a user defines (named) xml structures, so to say. The structures are then "translated" into DB entities. So the result DB schema is fully auto-generated. The system supports 4 different SQL dialects. Oracle is just one of them.
    Having restrictions like "name of a structure must be at least two characters" is no problem. But I still can`t believe Oracle has such a limitation. It does not sound logical (to me at least). And I had a hope may be someone has an explanation for that thing.
    The code above works just fine if I do not request certain columns back after the statement is executed. (e.g. without the second parameter).
    But anyway... I would post a bug for this, if I knew where to post it to :)
    Thanks.

  • GenericServiceFactory initialization problem when trying to load Web servic

    Hi,
    I am making a Guided procedure that calls a webservice. I have created a new Destination Template and was able to load the webservice definition successfully, but when I test the callable object I created for that same webservice y get the error:
    GenericServiceFactory initialization problem when trying to load Web service model for WSDL.
    Somehow I think there is something wrong with the user authentication. The Destination template has a user and password but somehow I think the callable object test is not using this information at all.
    Can anyone help ?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Hans,
    Have you verified if you can call any external web service calls from your J2EE engine?  Go into the SOA Management / Global settings (if you are on CE - if you're on 7.0 it's in manage WS desintations).
    Look at your proxy settings and set them like your web browser that enables external calls.  For example, in the SAP network I set my global proxy settings on my local J2EE engine to be:
    Proxy host:  proxy
    Proxy port: 8080
    Exclude list:  *.sap.corp
    Does that make sense - have you verified if your settings are correct for your company?

  • Exposing Inbound Interfaces as Web Service

    Hi,
    when it comes to expose XI interfaces as web services, the XI documentation quotes:
    "Sie können sowohl von Outbound- als auch von Inbound-Message-Interfaces WSDL-Beschreibungen erzeugen."
    -> i.e. Inbound interfaces can be exposed as web services.
    But the web service definition wizard expects the quotation of an outbound interface. So am I right when I say that I always need an outbound interface? If yes, why is it possible to expose inbound interfaces???
    Cheers,
    Heiko

    Hi,
    no, inbound interfaces can only call web services
    that are exposed on some other web servers
    only outobund XI interfaces can be exposed as web services
    (in this case XI acts as a web server)
    and other applicaitons can call this outbound interface

  • Letter spacing wrong when generting pdf in web service

    I have a turnkey JBoss Installation on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.
    When I create a pdf document out of an doc (Office 2003 SP3) or docx (Word 2007 SP2)
    with the web services I get wrong letter spacing. If I simply create a pdf out of Microsoft Word with the
    installed Adobe Add-On on the same server the spacing is correct.
    There is no error or warning in all the log files.
    I tried already all kind of settings in the font settings, but no success.
    You can see the differences in the attachment.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Answer: I tested a lot by myself and finally it worked. I am still not 100% sure why, but I think it is the following:
    When you have configured the turnkey installation, everything is up and running afterwards. But then you have these strange letter spacings.
    When you restart the jboss service (Windows) then it is correct afterwards.

    > Yeah, Motter Corpus is pretty distinctive. If you got a font substitution you'd know.
    But would you know if the font was not embedded (other than by looking at the file properties) when viewing on a system where it is installed?
    It looks to me as if the spacing issue is confined to the headings. Is that right? Have you previewed the page with custom tracking and kerning highlighted in ID (you'll find those settings in the preferences under Composition)? On screen shot the spacing looks very even so that's what I'd check first.
    What does the ID file look like for those same pages?

    Hi Rajendar,
    I think the problem with having empty interfaces, or interfaces without methods for EJBs, is that they don't really make  "sense". After deploying your EJB, a client application will use JNDI or dependency injection to access your EJB.  So in your case it will look something like this
    @EJB
        mytestSSBLocal myejb; //(In this case we are using the local interface)
    In the second step, you will want to do something will your EJB, but since mytestSSBLocal doesn't define any methods, there is nothing you can do with your ejb.
    The Exception is telling you that weblogic couldn't find a complaint interface for your EJB.
    best regards, Nicolas

  • Error on page when trying to test web service in EM

    Hi,
    I've developed a couple of web services in JDeveloper and tested them through Enterprise Manager. But the latest service won't work as expected. When I press "Test Web Service" for this particular port I get the message "Error on page" and
    "Line: 94
    Char: 1
    Error: Object expected
    Code: 0"
    For the other web services the possible input parameters are shown as an HTML form and you can also choose to use an XML source. But this won't work in this case. No input parameters are shown and you can't choose XML source.
    My question is of course the reason for this behaviour. And secondly; are the possible input parameters retrieved from the xsd file or from somewhere else? Could there be an error in it causing the problem? I'd be happy to provide some code, although right now I'm not sure which code snippet is appropriate.
    Thanks in advance!
    Kerstin

    Update:
    Now I see that there are in fact two error messages. The second one is the one presented above. But the first one says:
    Line: 145
    Char: 97
    Error: Expected ';'
    Code: 0
    My question now is to what file it is referring?? Is it to ProjectAccountingPort.js that is automatically created? THen why is it not properly created??
    Please, please help me with this! The deadline is in a few days...

    Hi,
    Please try the following.
    1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
    2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
    3. Select the networking tab at the top.
    4. Left hand side select IPv4 under wireless.
    5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
    6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
    7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
    8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
    9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.

  • Crystal Reports 2008 fails when called from e Web Service under 64bit OS

    I have discovered that Crystal Reports 2008 doesn't work when called from a Web Service running under 64bit Windows platforms (in my case Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP 64bit); practically no object is instantiated. I've tried several solutions without success.
    Before creating a wrapper component to use under COM+, is there anybody who has a better and cheaper solution than creating another component to wrap CR 2008 ?

    Hi Sergio,
    Before I mark this post as assumed answered I would just like to say and re-iterate that at this time there is no one answer and we fully understand your concerns. As you know in CR 6.0 it came in 16 and 32 bit versions because at the time 32 bit was relatively new but 16 bit was the norm. This is also true for 32 to 64 bit, 32 is the norm and 64 bit is relatively new. We know and are well aware 64 bit is the future and we are working as quickly as we can to move in that direction. Because of the complexity of the Product it's not simply a matter of re-compiling all of our dll's in 64 bit format. The core of our data connectivity with our database drivers which are dependant on third party clients must also need to support 64 bit modes. This as well as Printer drivers also need to be 64 compatable, there are a multitude of dependencies that we rely on that must add 64 bit support. As a programmer you are well aware of the issues around Thunking back and forth between 32 to 64 bits, it can cause delays and potentially loss of data which is a whole other issue. Not to mention also that we would have to ship both versions potentially doubling the size of the distribution packages or doubling the size of the dll's to have the ability to work in both modes. Relatively speaking of course, it would not be double the size but the variables would need to be able to allocate 32 or 64 memory blocks.
    The other option is to produce 2 separate versions, this alone is a massive project. Any issue would need to be fixed in separate code streams.
    So I'm sure you can see it's not simply a matter of saying yes we support 64 bit. It's a massive project that is going to take time to do and we have to wait for the third party drivers to commit also.
    Visual Studio .NET 2005 and 2008 is the only option if you want true 64 bit but you will be limited on what DB's you can support and export formats you can export to. They are the only drivers we did convert to 64 bit.
    Thank you for your understanding
    Don

  • ADFMobile - Web service data control problem for android

    Hi,
    I created an application for android and testing it on an emulator.
    I am able to create web service data control for a jax-ws web service. But when I invoke the web service and the call comes to the web service host, there are no namespaces in some of the parameters. Typically, the tags which do not have the namespace are complexTypes. All the values of the parameters come properly. I have tried executing the data control in three different manners but still no luck.
    AdfmfJavaUtilities.invokeDataControlMethod(..);
    AmxMethodActionBinding.execute();
    +#{bindings.invokeMethod.execute}+
    Thanks.

    Hi there,
    Can you try to generate a sample JAX-WS the generates a similar complex structure that can help you and us to isolate the issue? I created a jax-ws service using simple complex type on Ubuntu and also a client mobile application getting no problems running it. But, perhaps you are using a more complex structure, hence an standalone would be very useful.

  • Web service empty relationship problem

    hi all,
    I have a pretty simple web service. Two entities, a citizen and a business. A citizen is able to register 0..n businesses. There is a WS which reads the citizen. When the business key list in citizen is empty the web service wont return the citizen (portal request failed could not execute web service operation). When at least one relation is defined all works fine.
    I've tested the web service. The problem occurs only with VC.
    thanks for your help,
    regards, felix

    Hi Ankur,
    no, not exactly...
    The webservice is tested with an id as input and returns some string values (name, firstname...) and a list of references to other objects. When this list is empty...(depending on the back end system)
    part of the SOAP message:
    <ns1:businessRef xmlns:ns1='urn:com.sap.bureg001.core.besrv.citizen' xmlns:pns='urn:java/lang'></ns1:businessRef>
    ... visual composer returns an error.
    when this list is not empty (again depending on database entries in the back end)
    part of the SOAP message:
    <ns1:businessRef xmlns:ns1='urn:com.sap.bureg001.core.besrv.citizen' xmlns:pns='urn:java/lang'><pns:String>c22bc900-dec3-11db-cdce-00505625e523</pns:String>
    </ns1:businessRef>
    ... visual composer does not return an error but returns the values like the service is supposed to do.
    Testing the web service with Web Services Navigator both scenarios are working without problems.
    thanks for your fast response,
    felix
