When opening iTunes, I get the following message: "The file 'iTunes Library.itl' cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.  Would you like to download iTunes now?"  When I click to Download, the message states 'no new...'  Help!

I recently upgraded to OS 10.7.4 - I'm guessing this is the problem???  What can I do?

No, you should not lose any music.  Still, some have complained that installing a new iTunes caused them to lose their music.  I strongly suspect they did something else wrong.  I always back up before I do any major changes to my computer.  If something happens that I don't like I can just restore.
