When recieving a call I cant unblock my phone and cant answer the call. Once this happens the only chance I have to make it work is to take out my sim card.
Sometimes when I get an incoming call I cant answer and the touchscreen doesnt respond, the name of the caller just keeps appearing and ringing. When this happens I cant turn it off or do anything else but just taking out the sim card and rebooting. what to do??
Your iPhone is probably locked to your former cell carrier. In such case only that carrier can unlock it, so you'll need to contact the carrier. Note that unless things have changed recently only 3 offers unlocking. If you used a different carrier, they do not appear to offer unlocking which means that your son will not be able to use your old iPhone. But call your carrier and ask.

It's 99% sure theat the iPhone was hacked/jailbroken to use another carrier or downgrading IOS. There's no help with this.

My number has been showing up as calling people while in my possession and sometimes off. How does this happen? How do I stop it?
I've tried to contact facebook support and been trying to get on live chat for hours to no avail. Please help me stop annoying people.A month ago I received a spoofed call at 6A - obviously I was not happy. Came from 000-0000000 as I recall.
Tonight I had two irate people call me minutes apart saying I called them - I was eating dinner with my wife with my phone turned off in our eye-sight.
I cannot believe that we allow spoofing software and spoof cards these days, with only a crime if someone asks for money or does some similar fraudulent activity. -

Nope. You will need to restore the device from a computer. whether you've synced to one in the past or not is irrelevant.

Removing the sim card will simply stop the iPhone from getting cell service. nothing more. -

Was getting ICloud mail then it stopped. Icons next to ICloud on my mac mail say it's a netweork error. I tried deleting the iCloud account several times and reentering it but it always leaves out the info that goes into the "incoming server" box and there is no way to manually enter it as the box is grayed out.
Sign out of iCloud (system preference>iCloud) reboot and sign back in.

You building supplied internet is a cheap service that is without proper routable addresses..
Therefore to use more than one IP you MUST have double NAT.. sorry there is no choice..
Slow that is because you are sharing internet with every other person in the building.. get your own broadband service.
Bridge will not work.. it cannot work because the building only has private IP addressing. And they only give you a single address.
You can put a password on the wireless.. go to the airport utility and put in a password.
Other than that I don't understand what password you expect.

No NAT.. means the TC becomes a dumb Wireless AP and switch.. works fine with a cable modem router.. or any broadband router but useless with your building system.

You may have a bad sim, contact your phone carrier and see if you can get a new one.

I can't call or text a certain person and he can't call or text me
We both are Verizon customers and both of us have the iPhone 4s. We were able to call and text each other for 3 weeks with no issues and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, we stopped receiving each others calls and texts and even voice mails. It has caused so much anger and confusion between us. He thought I was ignoring him and I thought he was ignoring me. Then out of nowhere one random night last week, he decided to call me cause he was upset having not heard from me in 2 weeks and his call came through to me. That's when we discovered there are some communication issues going on. We were then able to text each other for one full day before our phones yet again have stopped working together. Why is this happening? We do not have each other blocked. We both have unlimited call and text plans. I tried resetting my phone and updating my roaming capabilities. Nothing is working. I deleted him as a contact and tried to send him a message by entering just his number and still nothing. He is not linked with a Facebook account so I know that is not the issue. I have no issues with any of my other contacts. I don't get it. How can this be fixed? I have spent hours online looking for an answer but have had no luck. I called Verizon and they were of no help. They just had me go through all the things I have already tried. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm losing my mind here!
The same thing is happening to me. Yesterday it started, and I had no way of knowing what was going on until I connected with my girlfriend on Facebook to figure out that we had been texting each other for two days and none of the texts were going through. She is on a Sprint Galaxy S phone and I'm on a Verizon iPhone 4. Texts I send to her do not arrive. Texts she sends to me do not arrive. But she can exchange texts in both directions with other people, and so can I. Only between our two phones, texts are not being delivered. How can we fix this?

Privacy is an Option in the Settings App, its not in Safari as that applies only to Safaris browsing. Its called Privacy in IOS 6 In previous versions the same thing can be found under Location Services.

Does my desktop come with wireless capability with no need for a separate router needed to be purchased, when airport is opened up belkin wireless is checked and other locations are listed but locked? Does my xfinity unit have one or just a modem? TIA
Your iMac does have wireless capability. It does need, however, some wireless network in order to connect to the Internet. It sounds like there are several networks in your area, including one Belkin router that is not encrypted and several other networks that are. I presume that you would know if the Belkin one is yours, and you would have mentioned it. Do not use someone else's network without their permission. In some jurisdictions it is illegal, in others it is merely foolish.
It is impossible to know what Xfinity has given you. Possibly it is only a cable modem, or perhaps it has a router built in. Call them and ask them. If it has a router built in, get them to help you set it up. Note that some tech support people for Internet service providers will resist working with Macs. Be persistent, it is not that different.
If they did not provide a router, you will need to get one. Apple makes the AirPort Extreme base station, the AirPort Express base station and the Time Capsule. Other companies have their own. Be sure you get one that is up to date and has 802.11n capabilities (for the highest speed) and go on from there.

You should be able to remove the passcode by restoring the device. Do the following:
Connect the device to the computer to which you normally sync;
Open iTunes (Note: If iTunes prompts you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes" in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212 );
Right-click the device in the left column of iTunes and select Back up (read this article on how to restore http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 );
When the backup is complete, select Restore;
Whenever finished, restore from your most recent backup.

If that doesn’t work you will need to perform a factory restore to remove it. -
Why is it that whenever I download a song from itunes that a small grey button appears next to the song (apparently this is the download progress) but whenever I hit it to resume, the song disappears. If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
