Apple providers; since from where I am, the Support pages and links sometimes go askew,
or to places I don't need (when looking for other answers, not my own) or have the sites I
do need lock into HongKong Chinese; my access to Apple Support main site did yesterday.
So I went offline for a time, after reporting the incident and URLs to Apple website Feedback.

Sri Lanka is listed. You will have to enter a city and product series to see who the authorized
sales and service support companies are in your region. They should appear with contact
information and in a map of the area where they exist. Try different town names if one you
choose does not indicate a match. Some services or retail locations may not offer all of the
usual retail Apple items (as seen elsewhere or in online Store.) A retail authorized Apple
sales &/or service independent company should be able to direct you. The authorized Sales
agent or business should also be able to sell the AppleCare plan, for items they sell there.
In general terms, the path used to find countries not listed in the main areas online follows
a convoluted path of trial & error, such as this:
You may be able to look into these contact site (links) and then go into Other countries if
the site default again leaves you in US sites without access to your Region or Country.

I'm from Croatia and got my MacBook from USA. A friend of mine that lives in L.A. ordered it to his name and got me an AppleCare Protection Plan too. Date of the purchase is December, 31st 2008. The problem follows..... I can't remember if I registered my ACPP and if I did, have I wrote mine or my friends personal information. I obviously don't have a printed copy of an email that ur supposed to receive after registering the ACPP. it's been a while so it might be that I deleted it or never got it.. ****.. so now I need a confirmation email printed out to have my MacBook serviced, along with a receipt that I have. I don't have it in my inbox, I dont know how to check if It's already registered and I don't remember on whose name it is registered to... Please give any tips, suggestions or anything! And for your general knowledge, the ACPP goes with the equipment. You could sell me your computer, never transfer anything and I could take it in and it would be covered. Just enter your serial number as was suggested and it will let you know.
Also, by that time, if you purchased ACPP while purchasing the MacBook at an Apple Store, then it was automatically registered, or should have been.

Software OSX reloads are not causes for AppleCare to be voided. Only physical damage voids AppleCare.
But ... AppleCare follows the system, not the person. You will need to buy new AppleCare for your next system. The good news about that is that you can charge for the AppleCare you paid for. I would arrange to meet at an Apple Store for the transfwr of money so you can confirm for the buyer:
AppleCare policy does has as much tme left as you claim
The system is good-enough condition that AppleCare has not been voided.

Alternatively, you can try plugging in the iPad to a computer for the first time.
Make sure iTunes 10.6+ is installed. When you plugged it in for the first time, you will be given a prompt to register the iPad with Apple without entering the serial - it is automatically detected.

HT4993 Lost receipt for Applecare Protection Plan for my iPhone 5 - purchased phone and plan at a Sprint store. How can I find my receipt so that I can register my plan? My lock button is broken now, and I need to use my plan.

I purchased my iPhone 5 and the Applecare Protection Plan a little over a year ago at my Sprint store. I was not informed that I needed to register my Applecare Plan, so I didn't. Now, my lock button on my iPhone is broken and I want to get it fixed or receive a new phone. PeachMac told me they would give me a new phone which would be covered under my Applecare Plan. I logged into Apple to make sure I still had time on my plan, but it doesn't even recognize that I purchased one and I no longer have the receipt for the plan, let alone the phone. How can I register my plan without the receipt? I'm feeling kinda of ripped off by Apple. Shouldn't they keep a record of who purchases these plans?

Did you register the AppleCare+ plan at the time of purchase? If you didn't, even if you had the receipt, it's too late. It must be purchased and activated within 30 days of the initial purchase of the phone (it's usually done at the time of purchase). If Sprint didn't activate it at the time of sale, you can blame them. Apple doesn't control them.

Call the Apple support line, ask for AppleCare Plan Administration, and get a fax number and fax a copy of the receipt to them.

I have an iPhone 5c that according to both the Apple warranty checker https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
and Apple Store Genius (at Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead Georgia, on 9/27/2014) is eligible for AppleCare Protection Plan (extensible before 10/4/2014). I was asked to call Apple to purchase the extension. However, when I called, AppleCare Senior Advisor Jeffrey told me that Apple has discontinued selling the standard AppleCare plan, and he was not able to add it to my phone.
Anyone else is having the same issue? Any other way to add the AppleCare protection plan?
I was dumbfounded. I bought a phone with the understanding that I could extend the warranty within a year, and Apple just went and changed it without any provision to grandfather the existing customers? I can tell you that my 5c's value just went down. So is my opinion of Apple - where is the commitment to their existing customers?

I think that there was some confusion that occurred on your call. You asked for AppleCare, but only AppleCare + is available for iPhones. Maybe that is what the person you spoke to meant (not sure....)
I purchased AppleCare + for my iPhone 5s after I had purchased it, and went to the chat to get the info on how to purchase it.
You are correct, you need to talk with an Apple person to actually purchase it after the fact. Go to this link and try again - and just let them know you want to purchase Apple Care Plus:

I cannot register my mac book pro applecare protection plan

Originally, I tried several times to purchase the applecare protection plan for my Mac Book Pro online but was presented with errors each time. I called support and they suggested I purchase the plan at an Apple Store. Today I did that and now have tried to "register" the plan but after putting in the registration number and my serial number the website refuses to complete the transaction. Their is no zero vs. oh issue in either of these numbers.
