When to User Extenal Refence in External Defination

Can you please help me How to import the XSD file and WSDL files..into XI..if they are extenal.. after createing External Defination how should i need to imported them.. in xi.

Hi,
Save the schema as .xsd into system. And then import the same .xsd file from local machine into External Definition by choosing type option is xsd.
Similarly .wsdl file will be imported , by choosing the type option as wsdl.
You can import any external xsds, or wsdl into xi.

For answering your subject , External refrence is mainly used in the Webservice structure. ie in WSDL. When you have many funtionality in the Webservice application, then there will be a an external reference for the main wsdl structure.

Let me try to explain it better.
Assume the XSD A refers to XSD B.
1. Import XSD A.
2. In XSD A ( the main XSD ), you will find a tab EXTERNAL REFERENCES . In this you should find an entry for Source. Copy this.
3. Import XSD B.
4. When you import, you will find a field called Source after you import it. Paste the Copied Text of step 2 here.
5. Save and activate.
6. Now, XSD A, in External References should contain both Name and Source filled.

User Defined Table locked when multi users try to save data?

Hi All,
I am having a problem with User Define Table (UDT). I am just checking if somebody having the same problem as mine (any patch level).
I've developed an add-on to save additional data to some UDTs upon saving a Production Order. I added my code in FormDataEvent (After Action = True and ActionSuccess = True).
Here are my sequences to save the data:
1. Start Transaction
2. Remove Existing Data from 3 UDTs linked to the production order number.
3. Save to table 1, using UserTable object
4. Call function A to save to table2 , using UserTable object
5. Call function B to save to table 3, using UserTable object
6. Commit Transaction.
Note: I have a try catch and rollback the transaction if any exception thrown by .NET and SAP. Below are parts of my coding to handle exception from SAP

Now, the issue is in some occasions, when multi users try to save the Production Order, the data get deleted from the UDTs, but some of the data did not get saved yet it did not throw an exception. From our observation, it only happens when multi users are trying to save to the same table.
Does anybody having the same or similar issue? Really appreciate if you can share on this.

I Believe you should look carefully where in your code writting, you should start transaction and be sure of using end.transaction commit if the insert sends a succesfull message, and rollback it for negative message.
I used to start transacción right before .add method

Cannot mount external drive on network when no user logged in

We have a few workstations on our network that have multiple accounts for users in order to preserve preferences, etc. An external hard drive attached to the each workstation, holds work done on that station by the different users. When all users are logged out, the external drive does not appear as a mountable device when trying to log into the workstation from another computer; only the internal drives are seen and mountable.
Is there a way to make the external drive visible and available for mounting over the network when no user is logged in? The external drive is set to ignore permissions for that drive in the get info window.
Additionally, when a user is logged in to the workstation and someone tries to log in over the network to access the external drive, the drive is sometimes available over the network and other times not. What causes this inconsistency?

(On IntelMac the Drive it needs the GUID Partitioning scheme mentioned at the bottom.)
Not sure if that'll make it see it or not, but your data will be better. Besides, you should be able to install to that then & maybe boot from it to ease matters.

SID only shows up when adding a domain user account from an external trusted domain

This is sort of an interesting situation which may wind up being more of a network port not being open.
There are two Windows 2008 R2 domains, AlphaCo and BravoCo, that have an external one-way trust setup between them where AlphaCo trusts BravoCo. The member servers on the AlphaCo domain have BravoCo users added to it's local groups. The problem is on one
of the member servers (SRV-05) on the AlphaCo domain. When any user from the BravoCo domain is added to the local Administrators group it will show up when doing a search with the "friendly name" but when you click on "Apply" and/or "OK"
it changes to the SID. This only happens on the SRV-05 server. The other member servers on the AlphaCo domain (SRV-01, 02, 03, 04, 06) are not having this issue.
Any idea what may be causing this user identity crisis and what could be done to resolve it?

There are no other differences between SRV-05 and the other members servers on the AlphaCo
domain (SRV-01, 02, 03, 04, 06). I did download and run the PortQryUI tool to check the status of port 135 on SRV-05
and the other servers which came back with the same results. I also checked the

I have an iMac 2013 running OSX 10.9.4. I want to use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup user files to an external hard drive to free up space on my iMack Hard drive.
So, say I make the backup today, delete iphoto libraries from my iMac, and then backup my iMac in a week. What happens to the iphoto libraries that are on the external backup drive now that I am backing up the iMac where they no longer exist?
I will have them backed up to a separate second external drive as well.
I'm just very cautious about removing them from the hard drive.

I'd like to store my Aperture /IMovie Libraries on an external hard drive.
That is fine and recommended.. use the fastest disk you can afford.. ie Thunderbolt>USB3>FW800>USB2.
In addition, I'd like to partition the external hard drive so that Time Machine can use it to both back up my IMac and the external library drives.
Let me be clear.. you want to partition the one disk.. use it for TM and move your files to the external disk.. and then backup to the same disk.. You can do it.. but that is not a backup.. that is an experiment in how long you can get away with running files and backups on the same disk before you lose everything.. like Russian Roulette.. pull the trigger enough times and laws of probability will do you in.
You must have backups on a different disk .. otherwise it is pointless.
Can I set up a RAID 5 format for redundancy?
No.. you can buy special USB and Thunderbolt external drives that support RAID..
BUT that is still not a backup.. let me show why.. you make a silly move and corrupt your file in aperture.. it is not that rare.
Raid will corrupt all copies of the files.. it is replicated across all disks.
Delete a photo it is deleted across all disks.. you have no recovery.
Alway, always consider RAID system one disk.. backup onto another disk.. and if the photos or movies are at all important to you.. ie your family .. make another copy and store in a relatives house.. There is no such thing as too much redundancy.

I tried using the <global-role/> tag instead - this does deploy without any errors - but when I call the secure EJB method I get the Security Violation error below.
The DTD says using the <global-role/> tag is fine, albeit deprecated, but the Weblogic 8.1 manual says this has been replaced by <externally-defined/>, so I'm not sure if this should work or not.

(It matches the one specified in http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/ejb/DDreference-ejb-jar.html - but I can't think of anything else that could be wrong).
Any tips much appreciated as I need to enable an administrator to customise these roles at runtime rather than hard-coding the role - group mappings into the deployment descriptors.

Call adapter when Xellerate User is created

How can I attach an adapter when an Xellerate User is created? I see that the Add User task for Xellerate User process definition does not have any adapter attached to it. Can I just attach my adapter from the integration tab so that it will get called when the user is created in OIM ?
Previously I have attached an Task on a response code but I don't see any response codes for "Add User" task.

Here are the steps I performed:
1. Changed MIL data level of "Add User" to 0
2. Added a task in Xellerate User - "Create User on Target"
3. Tried to add "Add User" as precedding task in "Create User on Target" task but failed with the error.
I found this thread to which points to editing Data Object Manager on post-insert. I'm not sure which Form do I need edit, User Tasks? Users.User Defined tasks?

Calendar Server user can not receive external invites

Hi,
We have a MacPro running ML Server 10.8.5 with 10 user accounts using the calendar and file server services.
Calendar server is where the issue is. We have 10 + users that are set up to send and receive external invites in calendar server without a problem. Recently, one of the user accounts stopped receiving external invites. The problem began not long after I set up a second account for the same user for their shared calendars (they requested this so all shared cals were not on their iOS devices). Although I used a separate email, it was an alias of the first so may have caused a conflict / problem (?). I got rid of the second account with no change to the first.
The account still receives invites from the other internal user accounts and the other services such as file sharing are unaffected. There are no other problems with the functionality of that user, in calendar or otherwise.
I have tried changing the email associated with that user account and setting up a new test user account (in Server). The email invite will still not come through.
I have changed it back to the way it was originally.
Summary
One of 10 user accounts does not receive external invites
Was working until recently
The account can send invites to external addresses
Same email address will not work even when associated with a different account
I have included a large section of the calendar error log from the part that references the email address (in red) attached to the user account in question. Apologies, I am not familiar with deciphering this information. That is why I've come here.

Sorry, I should have mentioned, that it what my first thought so I tested by ensuring the email address associated with the user account (not hosted on the server but by Google Apps) is recieving all other mail.
I have also tried:
- Setting all accounts (calendar, email and contact card with associated email address) in another local user on a defferent Mac. So it's not a local user or Mail app issue.
- Sending invites from different Calendar apps and email accounts - iCloud, Gmail (both using Apple Calendar and the web interface).
That's why I came back around to thinking it must be calendar server related. However is there is absolutly no conntact with the server with incoming email invites I must be looking in the wrong place (and the wrong forum - sorry!).
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be focusing my efforts?

How to get the Useru2019s position when the user doesnu2019t have CP relation

We have a custom program which will add / delete attributes (In transaction PPOSA_BBP). It is working fine for users which were assigned with CP relation But it fails for users which doesnu2019t have CP relation (since we are getting the position of users form HRP1001 then we are retrieving the existing attributes based on the position after that updating the attributes) as we are getting the position from HRP1001 it fails for users were no CP relation.
Help us how to get the Useru2019s position when the user doesnu2019t have CP relation. Suggest us any function module or how to query the HRP1001 or some other table if exists

Have a look at these tables.
Using table BUT000 the central business partner data are stored, f.e. partner type, partner names, partner number, partner guid, person number, etc. In table BUTBKK the bank data to a business partner are stored.
Central business partner address data
The table ADRC is used for the address of a business partner. Table BUT020 links the business partner number with the address number. Using table BUT021 several addresses to a business partner with different usages (modes), f.e. correspondence or delivery address, can be stored. The personal data of a business partner person are stored with key person number in table ADRP. The person number is assignd to a business partner person in table BUT000. Communication data of business partners as e-mail, telephone, fax, etc. are stored in the tables ADDR1 u2013 ADDR12. The business address of a contact person or an employee consists of the organization address (company resp. org.-unit) and of an address addition, which describes f.e. a building, a room number, etc. The address addition is stored in table ADCP and is identified by the keys address number of the organization address and person number.
Relationships between business partners
Table BUT050 contains the relationships between a business partner organization and a business partner person using relation types. The relation types are defined in table TBZ9, f.e. the relation type u2018has employeeu2019 corresponds to identifier u2018BUR010u2019, the relation type u2018has contact personu2019 corresponds to identifier u2018BUR001u2019. Table BUT051 stores communication data of a contact person relationship (compare to table ADCP). Table BUT052 stores several address numbers to one business partner relationship (including a standard flag).

Error message "Enter a Printer" when the user clicks on PO out put preview

We are using SRM 5.5 extended classic scenario. When the user presses on Output Preview of PO we are getting a message that "Enter a Printer" and not able to see the preview. This messge we are getting for some particular PO's and for other we are able to see the preview.

Please maintain default Printer for Organizational user in PPOMA_BBP (Attribute - PRI)...
In PPOMA_BBP, your purch org must be defined under (or at the same level as) a company. This company org id (defined in function tab) will be used to read address and use it as "contact" addresse. Check this point, correct if necessary and tell me if this is ok.

Creation of Server Proxy for Message interface with External Defination

Dear All,
I am getting a problem while generating a server proxy for the inbound interface . The request message used in the inbound interface is a external definition which is uploaded using a XSD file. The XSD file was supplied by a third party which is having very high complex strucuture and used lot of abstract data types in the design. When i tried to generate the proxy in the R/3 system (Transaction SPROXY) for the inbound interface i am getting following error.

Diagnosis
In a message interface you can use messages from different sources:
Message types and fault message types edited in the Enterprise Services Repository
Messages imported into the Enterprise Services Repository (external definitions, RFC, IDoc)
In the current message interface, message types from different sources have been used. Since messages from these different sources must be handled differently during proxy generation, such a mixture of messages within a message interface is not possible.
System Response
The interface cannot be generated.
Procedure
Change the interface definition accordingly in the Enterprise Services Repository.
Please guide me, how to generate the proxy for the interface with external defination message. I could nt geneate manullay, because it is having very high complexity and its a big structure.
Is there is any way to generate the proxy for interface with external definition

i. Import your message schemas from external definitions, or RFCs or IDocs from SAP systems. These definitions already contain data types.
ii. Create a message interface and reference the messages of the external definition, or the RFC or IDoc message.

RegisterPointerInputTarget() breaks InjectTouchInput() on Windows 8.1 when the user physically touches the screen.

This is a "working on Windows 8.0 but broken on 8.1" problem.
My application is a full screen magnifier. When magnification is turned on, there is no longer a 1:1 relationship between touch screen coordinates and desktop coordinates.
So I need a way to allow the user operate the computer, such as dragging or pinching something on the desktop (icon/window/whatever). So when they drag their finger(s) across the touch screen, I need to capture that, translate the touch coordinates from magnified
pixels coordinates into original desktop pixels and then inject new input to the app. I also want the ability to capture the touch input and not pass it to the app (so I can have gestures/whatever to control the magnifier viewport location). I might also want
to inject input when the user is not touching the real screen.
So I am capturing all touch input RegisterPointerInputTarget() and simulating touch input using InjectTouchInput() (after translating coordinates from the screen to the magnified desktop).
My code for simulating touch input works fine in isolation (as does the SDK sample). My code for capturing all touch input also works fine. However, if they are both used at the same time it’s not happy, although I am not getting any error codes back from the
API.
Specifically, attempts to simulate a touch and hold or a touch and drag are not working whenever the user is physically touching the real touch screen. Further diagnosis indicates that the touch input messages are not arriving in the target application. The
moment the user physcially touches the screen, any simulated input in progress gets cancelled and all subsequent calls to InjecttouchInput() are ignored - but no error code is returned.
Because I am capturing all real input using RegisterPointerInputTarget(), I would expect all real physical input to be redirected to my window (which it does) and be able to call InjectTouchInput() at any point to simulate input. The simulated input would go
to the target app and not be captured by my own process.
This all worked fine in Windows 8.0 but is broken in windows 8.1.
I have written a basic test application that does two things.
1. Uses RegisterPointerInputTarget() to consume all touch input.
2. Uses InjectTouchInput() to simulate some output. In this case, it just does a click, followed by a down, a drag and an up – which handily draws a line in the paint application if you arrange your windows carefully.
If I run this, it works until you physically touch the screen with your finger. The moment you do this, InjectTouchInput stops working (no error code), but the paint app receives a mouse up and the line stops. The hwnd to capture all touch input does receive
WM_POINTER... messages and I an returning 0 from this function (have tried other return codes, nothing makes any difference).
So it looks like that if you use RegisterPointerInputTarget(), any physical input is captured, but it also breaks any simulated touch gestures that are currently in progress.
Source code is below, which you can drop in as a replacement for the main .cpp file in your injecttouch sample code from the win8 sdk (and set uiaccess=true and code sign it!). It does it in two threads, however this doesn’t seem to matter, it does the same
thing with one thread. Am I doing something wrong? (and yes, I know that calling Sleep() is not wise - my real app doesn't do this)?

I have almost same situation. But there are some different. I am using RegisterPointerInputTarget to redirect all touch message to my window. and use InjectTouchInput to simulate each flag, which means, WM_POINTERDOWN,WM_POINTERUPDATE,WM_POINTERUP. If user
touches monitor, I simulate DOWN, if user swipes their finger, I simulate UPDATE, if user lifts finger, I simulate UP.
Then the interesting point is, system consider user's finger as primary pointer, and my injected touch as secondary pointer. windows desktop and windows explorer skip all my injected touch. I really hate that.
However IE and chrome will accept my injected touch, they don't caret about primary pointer.
In order to fix this problem, I call AccNotifyTouchInteraction before calling InjectTouchInput.
According to the MSDN, AccNotifyTouchInteraction will notify the destination window before InjectTouchInput. But this idea still fails, which is disappointing.

I need to pass some custom links which will be calling some webdynpro applications and backend transactions. I have read somewhere that Ineed to modify the XML file but don' t know how the next steps once I have defined (i.e. how to handle those links).

Based upon your scenario you mentioned that:

In an effort to pass custom links (calling web dynpro) applications.
You wish to know how to modify the XML
Ok now based upon the scenario there are two key points regarding XML files and efforts to change them.
Remember that XML in terms of the UWL follow the notion of precedence. Now that means that once you make a change to an XML file you need to re-upload it to realize changes. To re-upload an XML file and realized changes you need to do so with a "High" or "Very High" priority and also ensure that the UWL Cache has been cleared of the UWL Service restarted so changes can be realized.
The second key point is to ensure that you backup all current XML files before making any changes so you can easily revert those changes if required.
Now reverting back to your query, the XML files and the "You Can Also" section. Kindly see the documentation outlined below as here you are going to make changes to the I-View configuration:

I created a free text SC and after approval by the manager, the SC was routed to the Sourcing cockpit as I had activated sourcing for the product category that was ordered.
Now in the SOCO, when I select my SC and click on the 'Next' button, I get an error : "The attributes of the user are inconsistent or not defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP."
I have defined the following attributes for my purchaser
Acct assgnmnt Categry --- (Cost centre)
Acct system for vendor --- (ECC logical system)
Company code --- (XXX)
Cost centre --- (XXXXX)
Del address --- (XXXXX)
Doc type in R/3 --- (ECPO)
Local currency --- (EUR)
Mov type --- (201)
System Alias --- (ECC logical system)
System alias for accounting system --- (ECC logical system)
System alias for vendor --- (ECC logical system)
User role --- (employee/op purchaser/st purchaser)
Which other attribute do I need to define? Is there something that I have missed?
Strangely it works fine if I give my user SAP_ALL profile!!

I did regenerate the role and it is in green now. Still it does not work.
However I noticed that when I ran the attribute check for Purchaser's position, I got the following errors.
Application 'RFx': Assign purchaser PURCHASER1 to a purchasing organization
Message no. BBP_ATTR_CHECK151
Diagnosis
User PURCHASER1 has a purchaser's authorizations but is not assigned to any purchasing organization.
System Response
Purchaser PURCHASER1 (position S 50000015) cannot run the EBP applications RFx without encountering errors.
Procedure
Assign a purchasing organization to purchaser PURCHASER1 (position S 50000015). Select an organization unit above the purchaser and select the property 'purchasing organization' on the 'Function' tab.
I have already done the above, all org units have a function that links them to backend ECC. Why is it still prompting me with the same error?
