When trying to send a photo from iPhotos, I accidentally entered the wrong password. It tells me that it doesn't recognize my password, but doesn't enable me to re-submit the correct one. What should I do?
I'm trying to send a photo from iphoto - but apparently I entered the wrong password, and now it does not give me the opportunity to resubmit my correct password - it only tells me that mine was wrong and will allow me to cancel but not correct. I tried to cancel and start over but it still doe not let me re-enter my password. Is there some "command" that will help me?
iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> Accounts ->
Delete and recreate your email settings.

There is likely something wrong with the account setup in iPhoto. You may need to delete the account you set up and enter it again if you want to send with iPhoto instead of with Mail.
Give this a try to see what might be wrong: Drag a photo from iPhoto onto the Mail icon in the Dock. It will create a new message with the photo attached. If you click on the photo in Mail, it should show a popup menu to allow you to set the image size to send.
Check out some of the links in the More Like This section to the right. There might be some other suggestions. -

I thought it uses iCloud, but i see no new photo in iPhoto.? using osx10.8.2 and iPhoto 9.4.2
If you want to get photos from the iPad directly into iPhoto on the Mac the iPad must be logged into the same iCloud account that the Mac is and have Photo Stream enabled (as on the Mac and in iPhoto. Then there's no emailing required. Just put the photos in the Photo Stream on the iPad and they will be automatifdally added to iPhoto if iPhoto's preferences are set as such:

How do you convert iPhotos to CMYK? I want to send "artwork" which are essentially photos to a self publishing company for a children's book and don't know how to do this. The iBooks I created are beautiful and vibrant. Why can't I just send the photos? They want all artwork tiff and CMYK with at least 300dots on resolution?
Photoshop is a very expensive application. GraphicConverter can convert RGB files to CMTK and can set the PPI to what you need:

What does that mean?You're referring to iPhoto on your Mac, right?
Go into iPhoto's Accounts preference pane, delete the email account, add it back and try again.
The better solution, IMO, is to set Mail as the email client in iPhoto's General preference pane.

Help! In iphoto my photos do not appear just a blank dated square. Somehow I messed up when trying to send a photo via email.I cannot not see any but 4 photos.I tried all of the solutions that Apple suggested. Did you launch iPhoto with the Option(Alt) and Commnad keys held down like Terence suggested? If you did it properly you will get this window:

The username and password are set in the Accounts section of the Mail application. Start Mail, select preferences and select Accounts. Then make absolutely sure that the username, password and outgoing mail server are entered correctly. -

Tried to send email direct from iphoto on my newly installed iPhoto '11. It will not accept my current and only server, or my password. The photos will go out directly from email, but not from iPhoto. Any suggestions?
In the iPhoto preferences set Apple mail as the e-mail client and use it as before

when trying to send a photo via email, I am prompted to setup an email account even though email is already setup. What would cause this? Better yet, how do I fix it?
I have checked this on my device. I see a Default account under Messages created outside of Mail will be sent from the default account. There is an account selected, though it does not show my exchnage account. If it is only an exchange accout, can that not be used for this?

I am trying to import my photos from iphoto 11 into Aperture v3.0
I am trying to import my photos from iphoto 11 v9.4.3 into Aperture v3.0. When I select import I get a message saying Aperture cannot import libraries from version earlier that iphoto 7.1.5 and tells me to upgrade to a lter version of iphoto. Advice ?
I am on MAC OS X Version 10.8.5
Is Aperture 3.0 still correct or have you upgraded to Aperture 3.4.5? Only Aperture 3.4.5 can import iPhoto 9.4.3 libraries.

When I try to export photos from iPhoto, why does it truncate the title I have given the photo? For example, I have labeled it 2013RoxyCarousel. When saved to desktop, it reads 2013. The rest is omitted.

Kind: JPEG
Quality: medium
Include title and keywords (checked)
Size: small
File name: use title
