When unlocking an iPhone while a song is playing in iOS 7, the player skips to a different part of the song, has anyone else experienced this problem?

If I am playing a song in iOS 7 while the phone is locked, unlocking the phone seems to cause the Music app to skip to a different part of the song. It seems to be a random placement, sometimes ahead; sometimes back; sometimes very close to where it was, but rarely a continuous feed. Anyone have a clue what might be happening? Shake to Shuffle is off, only the Home Button has been touched. I also noticed that the display on the lock screen may be indicating where the playback will go once the phone is unlocked. Thanks for your help!

In reading other threads, I found a few that recommend a hard reset to solve the issue. I have tried it, and thus far haven't expereienced the problem again. Hopefully that's it then

I recently purchased the new iPhone and bought a folding wallet case. On one side there are slots for credit cards and the other holds the phone. I noticed that the credit cards are making an impression in my phone screen. I don't put my phone in my back pocket, always carry it in my front slacks pocket. Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

I purchased an iphone 4 dock and bumper but when ever I sit the iphone in the dock with the bumper on it won't get a sufficient enough connection to charge so I have to take the bumper off in order for it to charge.

It is entirely possible that the human you spoke with at Apple simply made a mistake. You do realize that humans make mistakes, correct?
Take the device back to the store along with any documents you have stating it is or is supposed to be unlocked and let them clear it up.
This all assumes the device was unlocked by the carrier and not some shady website or local electronics store.

At least I'm not the only one with the issue. I was looking it up so see if others had the same problem and found a bunch of posts about it. I'm assuming it's not the phone then, it's the software. Should I bring it to the Apple Store? Replacing the phone seems stupid, because the phone isn't really the problem. It's the software! Maybe the iOS 5.0.2 will fix it??? I don't really want to wait though, it's a pain. If a lot of people have this issue it should get Apple's attention. They need to do something to fix it, ASAP!

Hey! I had the same problem you did just today when I was trying to get my second iPhone to sync. What you need to do with music or anything extra that you doing you have to creat a second playlist or picture or anything that you would like to use, so that you can add to the second device that you are going to be using. I am not sure if that will help but it helped me out a lot!! Good luck!
