When using Google firefox is redirecting my serch to some site named tanzinga for advertising purposes.
Running XP Home, fully updated and current. Use AVG anti-virus current. Have run ad-aware, no help. Run IObit security360, no help.
It most often seems to happen when using Google to search.
Do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.<br />

http://It has nothing to do with Firefox -- it sounds like the sites you're trying to go to are already taken down. If that's the case, try clicking the Google's results' "Cached" button, or just try the other results Google gave you.

Firefox crashes when using Google as startpage
Firefox crashes and gives me a general error mesage that it had to close down for certain reasons.
This only happens when I use Google as my startpage.
If I use any other website as startpage all works well and I can go to Google from there and everything works.
In short: FF crashes at start-up only when using Google as starpage, I see the Google page very briefly and then FF crashes.
I would realy like any solution because I have always used Google as startpage and want to keep it that way without having to start with i.e. altavista and go to google from there.A possible workaround for now is to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

When using google maps through Firefox, after asking for a place which is not the general North America section which routinely comes up, the firefox screen goes white, with a narrow banner at the top. A message appears in the lower right corner which says something about display drivers having had a problem, but now have recovered. However the display doesn't recover and the banner message is that Firefox is not responding. When I go to restart Firefox if I go to the restore point, the page is still frozen out.
I do not believe it is a problem with my computer because it doesn't happen if I use I.E. to go to google maps, then G-maps works normally.
This phenomenon did not happen before the latest upgrade to either Google or Firefox. I have used Fiefox for a number of years and also Google Maps on previous computers and on this one, and not had this before.
This is a relatively young computer (Asus EeSlate 121) less than a year old. I have used Firefox since I bought it and until recently had no problem with Google Maps.I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

Untrusted connection Error when using google search field in top line. Ok with other search engines
When opening www.google.dk and searching from the page, everything is ok
When using Google search engine in the address line search bar the error is present
When changing to Yahoo, bing or another search engine in the search bar, the error is not present
So, the error
"www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

Read about firewall settings, but Bullguard firewall was not coveredIn your "More system details" it says your address bar search provider is Babylon, not Google. Perhaps that's the problem? Or are you using a shortcut to force the address bar search to Google?

That might not stick if you have an add-on which reverts the setting. You can disable nonessential and unrecognized extensions here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

When using google chrome I am unable to print from this search engine. I can print from Safari.
If the printer works with Safari and other programs, then the problem is with Chrome. Ask their tech support for help.

A site I need for consulting purposes (http://www.aegtelecom.com.pt/) requires an add-on known as “Intranet for Firefox”. When one accepts the add-on installation, a return message is displayed claiming that it cannot be found. At this point, I have to use IE to access the site. However, being a steadfast Firefox user, I would prefer to use Firefox for this purpose.

If that web site can't find the add-on it says is needed, they need to fix that problem with their servers.

My keypad keeps disappearing when using google -- but only in the horizontal position. Vertically, it works fine. I have powered off and then back on. I have checked that Safari instant is on, and I have cleared Safari cache. Nothing has worked so far.
Okay -- it fixed itself. Without any intervention, after all else had failed, and I was willing to live evermore with vertical searches. If only everything else in my house mysteriously recovered from the broken state.
Have no idea what was/is going on with the disappearing keypad. -

You need to set up the pages appropriately for the target device. For iPad that's 1024x768. -

Have you tried trashing your preferences in FCP? Trashing FCP prefs is usually the first step when FCP is performing strangely.

I'd like to unlock my iPhone 5 for use on a trip overseas. Is it possible to unlock it for this purpose? I bought it before January 26th, so my understanding is that it is legal for me to do so without carrier approval.
To be clear, I don't wish to leave AT&T when in the US, but while visiting my wife's relatives we really need a local number that they can call. I asked AT&T to do it for me, but they refused. I know there are shady ways to get it done, but honestly, if I wanted to live in that realm, I would have bought an Android.

Thanks for mentioning the warranty issue. I cannot find an authoritative reference regarding it, though. What I have read indicates that Apple has been fairly vocal about stating that jailbreaking may void your warranty, but has been pretty quiet about unlocking. None of these posts, however, gives any reference either way, so it is difficult to ***** the accuracy.
I'm open to hearing different information as I definitely do not know everything about this subject.
