Whenever i try to go to the iTunes store it says the connections has timed out and will not let me proceed and i have try almost all the help in the support guides... any help?

I've had the same problem for the last two weeks. Finally resolved the issue in Windows 7.
Go to start button, control panel, system & security, windows firewall. On the left side of the box click on "advanced settings." On the left side of the box again click on "Inbound Rules." You should be able to see iTunes under the name category. Make sure it has a green check mark next to it. If it does not, then double click on the name. In the "general" box which comes up open, click "Allow the Connection." That worked for me. Somehow itunes was blocked but now I can access the itunes store again.

My network connected for a few hours then went back to timing out. I have not changed anything. However there four additional laptop users in my family who do not seem to be having any problems using their wireless connection. Try temporarily disabling your firewall and anti-virus software then try the download again.

Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

When i log on to itunes it will tell me to review my account and when i do i click continue and it says my session has timed put and i have only been on for 2 seconds

We want managing your media to be easy! It saddens me to hear that this is not occuring. Do you receive a specific error message when the browser times out? Have you tried using a different browser?

I went to Norton and they were trying to help me, even to the point of removing Norton. They figured it was a firewall problem and I agree. They were not able to help me, but I shut the computer down, unplugged the modem and router, waited about 10 minutes and then started plugging everything in. It all works fine. I think the error message was cached in the memory and it needed to be reset to erase it.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If your device is timing out, I would try restarting the iPhone and attempting to connect again. If the issue still persists, try resetting as well. You can find instructions here:

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

Try deleing the download and try again. It is located:

If yo restore, the iPod will also be update. You can try that. Just make sure that you backup first so yo can restore from backup
