Where did "make link" go in Notes?

Is it possible to create hyperlinks in Mountain Lion Notes? My old links in Notes created in Mail under Lion OS still work but I don't see any way to create new internet links or to edit existing links. I can't believe Apple would remove this functionality so I'm hoping I'm just overlooking something!

Well, it's not a very intuitive location on Apple's part but at least it makes link text clickable. Do you know if there is still a way to create a clickable link from a keyword or phrase instead of only identifable link text?

OK. I am totally confused and lost, and getting very frustrated.
I can no longer simply go to Mail via Safari.

and there is no link to mail.
So I click Mac. And it takes me to this:

Still no sign of Mail. I am looking all over this page. There is a “Why You’ll Love a Mac,” “watch ads,” .Mac, but it is not a link. Under that is a link to log in (I am already logged in but, ok, I’ll try it anyway.)
That takes me to http://www.apple.com/dotmac/. STILL NO SIGN OF MAIL! Instead, it’s a bunch of prompts for signing up for a .Mac account. (I have one and have had for three years.)

Where did make go?

I upgraded to Lion, went into one of my programs and typed make. Instead of building, I got "-bash: make: command not found" What the heck? I better not have to reinstall the developer tools, that's like an 8 gig download. XCode is still there, but it's broken, it can't load any of the debugging libraries. Did the Lion install hose the developer tools?

you need xcode 4.1 for Lion which is finalized and available ( developer center ) to have a make executable that Lion can use.
Xcode 4.1 targets ios latest and Snow 10.6.8 as well as 10.7 .
Xcode 4.2 will also run on Lion, is ( currently ) in beta3 phase and is targeting the forthcoming ios5. For paid develeopers only currently.

HT2534 Where did the option go to not use a credit card for Apple ID?

I downloaded itunes and began to make an Apple ID on iTunes. When I saw that it required a credit card, I came to this support site http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534. I followed the instructions for a computer but found that there was no option 'NONE' on the billing page. I then tried making an Apple ID online and that worked, but when I tried to use that ID to log on to iTunes it still required a credit card. I could only use the account for discussions. I don't have a credit card, and nor was I planning on purchasing anything. I simply wanted to keep CD's on it and maybe some free books/music. Did this option change for the new version of iTunes or am I doing something wrong?

Where did my links toolbar go

woke up this morning and the long line of bookmarks that i have for quick access under my address bar is totally gone. Bookmark toolbar is enabled, and nothing. please help me

It could also be that the "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" entry is not on the Bookmark toolbar. You can add it back onto your Bookmarks toolbar in the customization page:
* Enter '''about:customizing''' in your address bar, or
* Go to Menu [[Image: New Fx Menu]] > Customize
* Either click and drag the entry back, or click the "Restore Defaults" button

Where did the lines go on "notes"??

I love the note app. I use it for my business inventory/ordering but now I've noticed that the lines on the pages have disappeared. Is there someplace I can go to resolve this? I've looked in the forums but unable to find anything.

Installing iMovie will not cause a project to be deleted, so it is probably there somewhere.
What version of iMovie did you have before? Is everything on your internal drive, or do you have external drives?

Aloha, Please tell me if there is a way to make a link like there was prior to installing the 10.4.11 update.
Before i installed that update i was able to press control & click and the pop up menu would give me the quick option 'make link' from the link text i typed. Now, since i have installed the update, it is gone and some of my links don't automatically become links; in email they seem to but on, for example, myspace they do not.
Please tell me if there is a shortcut to get to that sweet, quick and easy old 'make link' option.

I have a wish list in my itunes on my pc but it is not on my itunes on my ipad2. When I scroll down my movies tab it is not under quick links---- where did it go?

For that matter why does the itunes store/account look different on my ipad as opposed to my computer? There is a lot of links missing from my ipad2 itunes -------

But it does somehow my English security answers do not work on a Japanese Question especialy if I did not choose that question I set up the multiple choice In English and wrote the answers in English or Roman and set them langauge preferences in English, do you really think you can correctly write english name or word in Japanese they write a police patrol car pato caa パトカア　they do not have r and l .So it is my choice to make my security easy for me and as difficult for others to hack.But they also have patororoo choo meaning ' now patrolling ' so why they have pato caa patrol car and patoro patrol and have thousands of Chinese words kanji they can find patrol.

"Make link" in a textbox is not working

Hyperlinks in text
When editing a text in a textbox one can mark a text that is a link (for example www.google.com), right click it and choose the option "Make Link". Then that specific text will be turned into a fully functional hyperlink with colors and everything, BUT only in the "edit text mode". In the layout in Edge will the hyperlink not work or even be seen as a link. And not in the browser either.
This must be a bug, isn't it?!
I've seen many post about really tacky ways to get hyperlinks in a text by coding and so on. These are typical "english" solutions because you never think about translations. Hideing text inside code is very bad programming when it is time for translation.
The function is there for makeing hyperlinks but it doesn't work. So where do we report bugs??

Are you sure you posted to the right forum?
There is no Make Link option for the text.

Where is the "make link" feature located after i download it?

I downloaded the make link add on, reset firefox and logged back online, yet when I scroll through all of my tabs, it is no where to be found.

I assume that it is in the right-click context menu after you have selected that link text with the mouse.
Did you look there for it?
