Where do you get your PIN number from

Where do you find your PIN number is there a standard one

PIN for what? PIN is a "Personal Identification Number", so usually it's whatever you set it to.
Some devices may have a default 0000 or 1234 PIN until you change it.

If you registered PSE, go to the main page of adobe.com and look for My Adobe, then work through the links there and you will find a list of your adobe products and their serial numbers.

  • Zen Nano Plus Guys: Where Do You Get Your Mus

I get mine off Limewire and I was basically told that it wouldn't work AFTER I purchased my brand new Nano Plus by the customer support guy. Where do you get your files from?

I just got my Nano yesterday.. 4/29
    This is what I do:
    .Download the songs on Limewire
2.Under the Library Tab on Limewire there is a button called "Explore". click on that.
    3. All of the songs that you have downloaded should show up when the folder pops up
    4. Open the Windows Media Player (if you dont have it u should get it) and go to the tab that says "Sync"
    5. Drag the files one-by-one onto "Items to Synchronize" on the Windows Media Player
    6. Once you are done, press "Start Sync" at the top.. it should work
Now.. the only problem Im having is how to listen to all of my files. Ive downloaded 65 songs on here and its only playing 32 of them.

  • Where do you get your GNU/Linux news?

Hi guys. Just a quick question/discussion. Did a search, but it came up with no good results.
Where do you guys get your daily fix for Linux news, for everything new and exciting in the Linux world?
I'm still fairly new to Linux. First used it back around Ubuntu 8.10, but then switched back to Windows within a few weeks. Then got back into it around the beginning of this year with 10.04. Before eventually moving to Sabayon for quite a fair bit of time then just recently trying out Arch, and loving it.
As an Ubuntu user originally, I like to check out the articles on OMGUbuntu for news and info on new applications, or changes, being developed and also DistroWatch for news on new distributions or updates. I also like to read the occasional Linux article on Gizmodo or Lifehacker that they sometimes feature.
Anyway, where do you like to get your news?

By and large, I get online news by subscribing to RSS feeds (--I use Google Reader to aggregate them, but there are other options too--), not through normal web pages. If it weren't for RSS, there's no way I'd have time to visit all the webpages I'd want to visit every day. Indeed, I mainly become aware of new posts in these forums through its RSS feed.
Anyway, here are some broadly linux-related RSS feeds I subscribe to. Most of them have associated webpages too. (Thank goodness I can just export a list from Google Reader or I'd never remember them all...)

  • HT1351 how do you get your itunes music from your ipad to iphone

I am trying to get my itunes music from my ipad to my iphone. how can I do this?

If you are in a country where you can re-download iTunes purchases or you've signed up to iTunes Match then you can re-download them, otherwise you will need to sync your music via your computer's iTunes - you can't connect an iPad to an iPhone for direct transfer of music.

  • Where do I get the serial number from my purchase?

I just downloaded CC (paid for it and then downloaded it) and it took a while but I think it worked. BUT, when I try to start a program (e.g. Flash Pro) I am asked for a "serial number" and I have no idea where I am supposed to get this. It was not in any email I received on either email account you send emails to. Where do I get this number?

Ask for serial number http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1234635 has a FAQ link
Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

  • Where do I get my serial number from Keynote if I bought it on the Appstore

I downloaded the free trial for Keynote months ago, the trial period ended and I stopped using it. But a couple of months ago I decided I wanted to buy Keynote, so I bought it in the App store, It worked perfectly until one day I wanted to open and old file from Keynote and it said that my trial period ended and that I sould activate the serial number that I got when I purchased it. The thing is I never got any serial number when I bought it and now it just won't work without the serial number. What can I do now, where do I find this serial number????

When you buy from the App store, Apple send out an email containing a purchase receipt and licence containing the  serial number. Look for this email.
If you have deleted it, try logging into your app store account in previous purchases and see if your purcase is listed. Apple keep data for upto 18 months only. If either of these ways does not work you will need to buy a licence again.

  • Where Did You Get Your MacBook?

For those that have a MacBook, where did you purchase it from? Even with the student discount, purchasing from the Apple store doesn't provide any savings because of the taxes (~$84.00 in NY). I know Amazon.com sells it, but it's pre-order.
      Mac OS X (10.4.6)
      Mac OS X (10.4.6)

No need to get defensive. I wasn't saying that people shouldn't use the Apple Store. I was saying that unless Apple recognises your problems as problems, they will not do anything for you. That is to say, issues such as heat, whine and other common issues people worry about here on this forum will not be addressed by the Apple Store geniuses because they don't consider these problems out of specifications. This also means that if you have these issues and decide you can't live with them, you most probably will not be able to return a macbook of MBP to them without a restocking fee.
Believe me, I was amazed that they were so unwilling to consider not charging me a restocking fee. I was very calm, told them about the issues (whine, heat, loose battery, warped lid) and told them that over the past 15 years as an Apple user I have never felt disappointed with an Apple product except for this one. I told them that I have purchased items for tens of thousands of dollars from Apple over the years and asked them if they would at least consider charging me just half the restocking fee given that these are problems SO MANY people are having. There are OBVIOUSLY issues with the MBPs. The guy (who claimed to be the 'lead' rep there) refused and told me, in the same breath, how much they 'love' my business, pointing me in the direction of the checkout so I could line up to get refund, minus the $200 fee for beta testing. How insulting and disingenuous is that!
There are stores that will accept your claim that an item is defective. Since Apple is the mothership they decide what is within spec while some other stores just trust you when you say your notebook has excessive heat problems or whines and therefore needs to be returned. Given the many problems reported, I would recommend anybody to buy from a store with a more generous and no hassle return policy. Getting an exchange will not help if all units have the same problems....

  • How can you get your music synced from iTunes to your iPod when a window pop ups on the screen saying"The iPod "Edward's iPod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (13019))?

I had 429 songs already on my iPod Touch. When I was in the process of syncing a song from my iTunes Library on to my iPod, a window popped up on the screen saying, ""The iPod "Edward's iPod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (13019)). I click "Device" on my iTunes Library to make sure the song was in my iPod. It showed the song that was recently synced now listed under "Device", but when I physically looked for the song on my iPod Touch, it does not appear on there at all. It all started when I decided to put a Playlist I created in the iTunes Library and transferred it on to my iPod. Do you know why it may affected my syncing process and is there any way where I could get the syncing function back to normal so that I can continue adding songs on my iPod? Thank you for listening.    P.S. My iPod iOS version is 4.3.5.
