Where has the Blending option of Premiere CS3 gone ?

In older version of Premiere, just like in Photoshop, there was the blending option for 2 layers of video, such as overlay, screen, lighten, etc.
But now in Premiere CS3, I can't find this blending option. Where is this option located in ? Or any better substitues have taken its place ?

As far as I can remember, in the Transparency setup of Effect Control of version 6.x, there were some blending option such as screen, multiply, luminance, etc. But of course the options were not as many as that in Photoshop. The screen and multiply effects are very useful and frequently used. In CS3, I think the Opacity effect is equivalent to the Transparency effect of versions 6.x. But there is no setup in Opacity effect.
I'll have a look at the Calculations effect.

If you have it turned on it is now under the music section on the top where you have Songs, Albums etc. It is on the far right next to Match.
If you cannot see it then Preferences and Tick Radio Option
If it is still npt there the Preferences, Parental and untick Disable Radio

Where are the blending options?

I moved from CS2 on windows to elements 6 on mac, and I can't find the blending options. Like, on CS2(and on CS and CS3) when you double click a layer, it'll bring up a window where you can add things to that layer, like a drop shadow, Bezel, gradiants, strokes and so on. It was an extremely useful feature. How can I get that on elements? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Thanks

Where has the speaker option gone?

I'm currently on itunes v.9. The speakers option, where I could have music playing from either the speakers on my laptop or from my external speakers via the airport, has completely disappeared, and now I cannot use itunes to play music at all.
How do I get the speaker option back? (It was in the bottom right hand corner of the menu bar.)

Where has the Activities option gone in Safari 6?

Sincce automatically upgrading to Safari 6 (via the software updates) I can no longer find the Activiies option that was under 'Window/Activity'.
Is there a way of turning this option back on?

There is no longer an option for reloading or refreshing a page in Firefox 4. I need this for my work as a webpage author.

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* Move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

Where has the address option gone on Mail?

On Maverick under window (I think) there was an address option where you could click on it and then your address book would open and you could choose who to send your email to - On Yosemite this option appears to be missing or am I not seeing it.?

In Yosemite mail , just click on the plus sign in To : Column to bring up all your addresses in Contacts app.

Where has the Libraries option in the window-drop down menu gone?

Running CC and trying to create a Library for a specific project, but the option is not present in PS or Illustrator. Have tried searches on google and adobe, but no luck yet.
Anyone else had the same issue?

My apps seems to be up to date and cloud is apparently functional.

Looks like I'm answering this myself.
Took me some time and lots of trial and error to find the solution.
Apparently the Adobe Application Manager was corrupted, and reported everything to be up to date.
I had a previous install of CS6 on the computer when I installed CC. This must have caused some havoc.
After uninstalling both CS6 and everything I had installed from CC, I ran the Adobe Cleaner.
Then a fresh install of CC, and voila! Everything is working as it should again.

Where has the "quit" option gone?

After an update, quit option disappeared. This way, FF stays in memory, which is low in my HTC Desire HD. Firefox should have this option back.

I think this is based on requirements (maybe they're more like strong suggestions?) of the Android OS style guidelines. But, as often occurs, someone created an add-on to put it back on the menu.

TS2518 Where has the White Balance Setting Temp K gone? I only have a slider "warmth" left...

I just upgraded to Aperture 3.3.1 and the setting to set the white balance to a certain temperature in K has gone...

but now only a setting called "warmth" with a slider and a default setting of "0,50" is left...

Set the drop-down selector in the ""White Balance" brick to "Temperature & Tint". Then you can set again a color temperature.

Where has the Calendars, Contacts check boxes page gone in iTunes 11.1.2

Since the new update with Maverick, the page has gone so my ipad isn't syncing Calendars and its Contacts have been deleted. I back up to computer and not ICloud

Couldn't agree more.
Typical Apple "Here's a free update to Mavericks but we're not going to tell you that it mucks up syncing contacts via mac" they just let you find out the hard way, after you have a problem perhaps.
I did notice in iTunes there was a tab missing but didn't realise what it was till my son had a problem getting back his contacts as he's not on the cloud.
What else I wonder will just not appear when required.
