Where is SAP note 1388005 DataAudit functionality

Note 1388005 is refered to in the BPC 7.0M SP5 Patch 1 release notes, but it shows as "reworking" when I try to access it.
Will this note be available soon?

Hi Tony,
I'm not sure why you are getting that message when you attempting to open the SAP Note, as it has been "Released to Customer".
Here is the information from the note -
Symptom:
Data audit report is blank even though the data audit function was enabled correctly in a particular customer's appset.
Other Terms:
BPC 7.0M SP5 Patch1 Microsoft, Data Audit, IM2861344 2009
Reason and Prerequisites:
When sending data not through DM, a SQL stored procedure is used to perform audit functionality. A parameter of the procedure is the application name and other information, which size is 8 bytes, and the size of this parameter is fixed 20 bytes.
Therefore, if the application name exceeds 12 bytes, a wrong parameter value was passed to the procedure. From this reason, this problem occurred.
Solution:
This is corrected in 7.0M SP5 Patch1.
The parameter's length is increased as proper size.
[Additional Info]
To apply the fix, you should run modify application without selecting any other option in Administration Console.
Hope this helps,
   Craig

    Hi Preeti,
please first understand the difference between a subject (your header) and its body line, please never write so long subject matter.
Now coming to your queries , what you thinks being at Australia or US is free of Cost. The first thing is that i don't understand your mission for taking Certifications, Are you a working proffesional because for more than 2 yrs. of working experience, you don't need any training , you can take direct examinations.
And if you are not a working professional, i don't thing taking any certification will serve any purpose in your job hunt, although it will enrich your Resume only, you will nothing get out of this from just taking a vertification
So, please tell us that you are a fresher or having real time working exposure in SAP SD module, then any one will guide you well.

  • Where did the iPhone Calendar list function(s) go with iOS7? The Calendar has gone all 'spread sheet' on me and definitely not user friendly. Please advise.

Where did the iPhone Calendar list function(s) go with iOS7?  The Calendar has gone all 'spread sheet' on me. If you select an item (grey dot) from the month display it will open up the 'spread sheet' at the current time of day, not necessarily when the calendar entry takes place.  I liked iOS6 where you could turn your iPhone to landscape mode and get that special 'spread sheet' feel if that's what you're into.  Has a 'List' presentation been removed from the iPhone Calendar with iOS7?

The List view is displayed by tapping the Search magnifying glass.

    Hi Experts,
Can you please let me know what exactly this SAP note does to the Texas SUI report?
After implementing the SAP note, what changes am I looking forward for?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello,
After some searches I have found that the corrections delivered in the
    Q-3 notes:
o The "Employee Name" column in the Employee correction form the
    employees´ first name are concatenated.
o Also, when you have more then one employee, the first name and the
SSN that appears in the field was repeated in the others lines.
    Hope this help

  • Installation of SAP Note 612011

    Hi,
Iu2019m going to install SAP note 612011 in order to make sure that the system no longer automatically sets the final indicator 'Clearing Indicator for GR/IR Posting for External Services' while processing an incoming invoice.
As itu2019s possible to read in the noteu2019s text, u201Cthis modification is not a function in the standard SAP system. SAP takes no responsibility and provides no maintenance for problems that may occur as a result of this modificationu201D.
So Iu2019d like to know if someone, after having installed this note, encountered any problem.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello,
As you know data and log entries of a MaxDB database instance are stored on so called volumes which are either files or, where this is possible, raw devices.
The benefits of a RAW device is a faster write performance. Also, a RAW device is much more secure because of the direct write to disks instead of caching the writes.  The caching of writes could  cause inconsistencies if a crash occurs.
    Please go at :
    http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/ -> MaxDB Library
-> Concepts of the Database System -> Creating and Configuring a Database Instance
-> Planning the Database Instance < & Technical Restrictions >
At the 'Planning the Database Instance' section in the paragraph 'Database Size and Configuration of Volumes' you will find more information.
And you could see in more details, why we recommend to use raw devices for
data and log volumes in MAXDB on UNIX systems.
Please also review the information at link - MaxDB FAQ (frequently asked questions) on the MySQL site (target audience: Open Source) :
    http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/maxdb_faq.html
< '5.2. How do I configure the database files?' >
SAP customers can find more information in SAP Note 820824.
And if you are SAP customer please review the SAP notes for additional
    information:
628131 SAP DB / MaxDB operating system parameters on Unix
    767598 Available documentation
    748225 Measurement IO times on liveCache/SAP DB/MaxDB DATA/LOG

  • Implementing sap note

After implementing sap note i am getting this message
You have started to implement corrections that are contained in an SAP Note. However, you have not selected any objects in the overview of the Repository objects that are to be changed. This means that the system has not changed any objects that are in correction instructions 01200615321         00001630720005.
where do i select the objects to be changed

    Hi
The transaction code SNOTE is used to implement OSS Notes. With the SNOTE
transaction, it is no longer necessary to register ABAP objects such as report function
modules etc. manually. But data dictionary objects such as screens, tables need to
be modified manually by registering them in OSS system.
In order to use the transaction code SNOTE, the relevant transport which implement
this transaction in the system need to be transported. Please refer to the SNOTE
    guide available at http://service.sap.com
    this pdf will be helpful

    3 Preparation for Migration
General information about the migration process:
For EP 6.0 SP 2 and SAP NetWeaver '04 and earlier, see
    http://help.sap.com/ep  > EP 6.0 SP2 >
HTML (English) > Administration Guide > Portal Platform > System
Administration > Transport of Content Objects > Transport Scenarios >
Migrating and Importing EP 5.0 Contents Objects.
From EP 6.0 SP 2 SP3 (including NetWeaver '04), see
    http://help.sap.com/nw4/ > Netweaver '04 > English > SAP Library >
SAP Netweaver > People Integration > Portal > Administration Guide >
Portal Platform > System Administration > Transport of Portal Objects >
Transport Scenarios > Import and Deployment > Importing EP 5.0 Packages
The following information is crucial for preparing the migration process of EP 5.0 Business Packages to EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04.
    3.1 EP 5.0 Business Packages
If you are planning to migrate Business Packages from EP 5.0 to EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04, take into account that in most cases only a lower release of an EP 5.0 Business Package is released on EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04 - for example Release 50.3 is released, but not 50.2.
You find the Business Package release and the required minimum support package release to be able to use the EP 5.0 Business Package on EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04 in this note. You can also see which Business Package release has been released for EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04 using SDN PCP.
Before migrating content make sure that you upgrade your Business Package to the lowest release (50.x) that is released on EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04.
Some Business Packages are not released on EP 6.0 or SAP NetWeaver '04. Others will be replaced by native EP 6.0 releases in the future. For details see "4: A list of EP 5.0 Business Packages which are not released for EP 6.0 or SAP NetWeaver '04".
3.2 EP 5.0 Business Packages with additional language versions
If you want to make use of the EP 5.0 Business Packages with additional language versions mentioned in 1.3, follow this process:
    - Upgrade the Business Package in your EP 5.0 installation to the
release which is released on EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04.
    - Execute Content Migration on EP 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04.
    - Import the Business Package with additional languages into EP
      6.0 and SAP NetWeaver '04.
Personalizing and customizing data is saved in this way.
4 List of EP 5.0 Business Packages that will not be released for EP 6.0 or SAP NetWeaver '04
The following EP 5.0 Business Packages will not be released for EP 6.0 or SAP NetWeaver '04. Supplementary comments are included in brackets:

Search for required SAP Note. And open the Note.
The SAP Note describes you the how to modify the program,.
First check the Componet information from your SAP system.. Goto> system> status---> Component Information.
