Where is the NTP setup in the web GUI on SPA 112 ?

It used to be in the System tab, and used the time zone and DST settings in the Regional Tab.
I bought this device recently and I cant find in the GUI the NTP settings
Here the informations:
and I have no tab under "Network":
and I am 9 hours away from PST.
So how can I fix it ?
thx

Yes I'm logged as admin, it is the first thing I do
and no I don't have this choice displayed.
In fact, first of all I'll upgrade the firmware, but before I have to backup the configuration because it is customized.

Could you give a little more detail on your question please.
If you looking to setup a proxy server and port so your printer can connect the printer to HP ePrint, you will often find this setting in the embedded webserver of a printer.  Open up a web browser, and type http://<address of your printer> where the address of your printer is an IP address or hostname (such as http://192.168.2.2).  From the EWS, there will be a configuration section for HP ePrint, and you should find options for setting the proxy host and port in this area.

  • Information about the default setup for the demo user

    Hi,
Can anyone guide me the properties which we have to set for the below
    # Information about the default setup for the demo user.
    db.adminUser=system
    db.demoUser=FOD
    db.demoUser.password=fusion
    db.demoUser.tablespace=USERS
    db.demoUser.tempTablespace=TEMP
    And what exactly they represent
    Regards,
    Krishna

    Krishna,
    It's pretty obvious...
db.adminUser = the username of a dba user in your database
db.demoUser = the username of the demo user that will get created
db.demoUser.password = the password that will be used for the demo user
db.demoUser.tablespace = the default tablespace for the demo user
db.demoUser.tempTablespace = the default temporary tablespace for the demo user
You don't have to change any of them.

  • How to perform the hardware setup without the CD?

In most of the support page I read, I am finding info about drivers and computer connectivity with the printer.  In many occasion, we can read a paragraph like this one:
Important: Set up the HP hardware before installing the software. If you have not already done so, find the hardware setup document for your printer before starting the following steps.
    Excerpt trom http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02273853&tmp_task=setupCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc...
This is exactly what I am trying to achieve, but nowhere HP seems to be providing guidance about this.  At least that I can find.  Where can I find the bundle to download that will allow me to connect the prionter to the WIFI network?  Note that the automatic connection WPS generates an error on the printer.  My router is a bran new Linksys EA6350.
Please do not refer me to the driver download page, this is not what I am looking for.
    Thanks,

New plan...  I have done some reaserach and may have found a way!
We will put the computer on the printers network, and then print a report to get the printers IP address. At this point we can access the embedded web server (EWS) and run the wireless wizard from there. Once the printer is on the home network with the router we can put the computer back on the network and vuala the printer and computer will both be on your network.
To restore network defaults - since you have done this before I imagine you know how but for others who may view the post, here are the steps
    Press the Wireless button
    Select Wireless Settings
Scroll down and select Restore Network Defaults.  Press Yes to acknowledge
The radio will turn off (the blue LED will go out).  You may need to press the wireless button again to Enable Wireless
Put the computer on the printers network (temporary)
    1. Click on the Airport symbol on the top left side of the Mac screen
    2. Choose the network that look relative to the printer (might say HP setup or some variation of your printer name) - it may take a few minutes for it to appear
Print the wireless network test - wait a few minutes to ensure the and computer have established an adhoc connection otherwise the report will not have an IP address
Press the Scan button (it also the Wireless menu button)
    Select Wireless Settings
Navigate to Wireless test and select.
The Wireless Network Test prints, look for and note the IP address.
Open an Internet browser (Safari) and enter the IP address into the URL (address bar).
Click on the network tab, on the left click on wireless or 802.11.
At this point we are looking fore "start wizard" should be on the right hand side.
Once we have successful configured the printer for your network you can put your computer back on your own network.
Now you can add the printer to the System Preferences and print

  • Is it possible to access the page setup for the printer from a program unit

    Hi guys,
I've done a report and i need to print it with a specified superior margin. This is not the margin that we set in the report edit margin button, this is already set, the problem is the pre-defined margin located in the page setup dialog box.
My question is, is there a way (api, etc...) inside the report in which i can access this page setup and configure that margin with the values that i want, programaticaly (runtime)?
    Thanks.

  • The Gains setup of the PID VI

    Hey guys,
I am trying to learning how to use the PID VI in LabVIEW and have programed a simple VI. Here is the problem: the output of the PID VI seems only related to the Kc in the program, and the other two values (Ti and Td) don't affect the output, for example ranging from 0.001 to 1000.
Is there anything I missed during the programming?
    Thanks a lot.

You need to put your code into a loop.  Do not use the Run Continuously button - it is only useful for some specific debugging situations.  When you use "Run Continuously" it's as though you were clicking the "Run" button over and over again.  The PID VI contains the First Call? function to reinitialize the integrator and derivative on the first call.  When you run continuously, every call is the first call (because it's as though you restarted it each time) so you never get any derivative or integral action.  Note that all loops in LabVIEW that run indefinitely should have at least some small wait in them (use the Wait (ms) function).

  • Where is located /arch/setup on the ISO?

I just downloaded the Arch iso, but before burning it I opened it via WinRar. I noticed in the arch folder there is no file called setup, but a txt file only. The install guide says I have to execute /arch/setup. Is this normal?

Just burn the iso and boot to the CD. when it boot u will be prompted with instructions right on your screen. Its really not that hard!
as for the directory part, I dunno, never looked at the ISO, never had a reason too. The arch install CD can be used for more then just an install disk.

  • Items to display in list view web part not showing the items setup

Hi, I have the following issue. I have a list view web part, but the web part is showing more items that the ones setup in the: Number of items to display in list view web part for this view.
It is because that works when using datasheet view and not a normal view? Is there any technical documentation from Microsoft supporting this?

thank you for your answer. It is interesting that the mobile view with the items to show in the mobile view doesn't work in the webpart, but it works when you are using datasheet view, but if you uncheck to activate the mobile view, then, the webpart doesn't
show information, so, it works partially because one part works and not the other.

  • Using a Cisco Switch as the NTP Master time source for a Windows PDC

    Hi all,
We have a closed network (no connectivity to the internet) and we have a Core router setup as the NTP Master for the rest of the network.
All network devices are getting the time synced as intended but we are having issues getting the Primary Domain Controller (PDC) registering to it as a valid NTP time source.
The problem we have is that we are affected by IOS bug CSCed13703 which rejects the PDC as an NTP associated device. Short of changing the IOS on the Router which is the main router feeding 30 other sites I would like to point the PDC at a different switch (an NTP Client switch) as it’s NTP source, rather than it going to the actual NTP Master.
I have changed the values in the PDC to point to a different switch (3750) that has it’s time synced with the NTP master, but the PDC doesn’t want to know. I assume it will only accept the time from an official NTP Master .
Could any of you fine people advise if what I am trying to do is possible and if so how I would go about it. I was thinking of setting the 3750 with the NTP Master command also, but I don’t want to confuse the other cisco devices in the network
    Thanks in advance
    David

    Thanks Marvin,
I can confirm the Stratum on the 3750 is set to 15.  This is due to the NTP Time source being an internal router and not an authoritative time source out on the internet.  When setting the clock and using the NTP Master command on my internal router it sets the Stratum level to 14.
I have pointed the PDC at the Router (Stratum 14) and it does successfully sync time, but won't trust it as a valid source after the first sync.  Upon reading I believed this to be the IOS bug as the symptoms are identical. Your theory of the PDC requiring a Stratum 2 time source is logical (especially in this scenario) but I have seen them use Stratum 4 before and it worked just fine.
I guess I could change the Router acting as a time source for the network to be NTP Master 1 which should force Stratum 1 giving the PDC and all other switches pointing to it a Stratumlevel of 2 which would prove it either way.  I don't mind pointing the PDC at the router instead of the switch so long as it gets the time synced and trusts it from that point on.
I was going to make the 3750 switch an NTP Master for the Network and point the PDC to it (as per my previous post) but I have noticed this morning that the NTP Master command isn't available on the 3750 as it has no hardware clock!
Are you aware of any other way of forcing the 3750 to become a time source for the PDC without using the NTP Master command?  I have looked at the NTP Peer command and I have ruled this out already and I still need the switch to be a client of the NTP Master Router on the network
    Cheers for getting involved,
    David

  • Will the 840 EVO limit the potential of the 850 Pro in this setup?

Consider the following setup for use with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 as well as After Effects CC 2014 (I would mostly be rendering/exporting to .mp4 or h.264 using AVCHD source media):
    Motherboard: MSI X99S Gaming 7
    OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
CPU: Intel 5960x (8 cores, 3.0 ghz, 20 mb cache)
    GPUs: 2 SLI GTX 970s
    RAM: 32 GB
    SSDs:
250 Samsung 840 EVO for OS, Pagefile, and Programs
1TB Samsung 850 Pro for Media Cache, Exports, Original/Source Media Files, Previews, and Projects.
Considering the aforementioned setup, would the 840 EVO, in any way shape or form, limit the potential of the 850 pro during any type of rendering/exporting/reading?  I doubt it because most of the work is being done on the 1TB 850 Pro, but I don't really know for sure.  Considering that the application itself has to be read and is operating on the 840 Pro, I genuinely don't know if it will potentially bottleneck the 850 Pro during these crucial processes.  Can anybody point me straight here?  On top of that, is there any other way that you might recommend allocating the different file types in the above setup?

That's not much of a problem to me in comparison to the real work.  However, to be more specific, take my logic here and explain where I'm either wrong or right.
The 850 Pro is fast and effective at locating, reading, and writing data.
However, the 840 EVO is the SSD running Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 (where the program itself is installed).
Here we go; is the following correct or just a wrong assumption:
Since the 840 EVO runs Adobe Premiere, it can only be sending the data to the processor/gpu/etc as fast as the 840 EVO can do; thus, the fact that the 850 Pro can run faster will have little to NO benefit because the instructions that the application/program itself (Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014) is sending to the parts that do all of the rendering/exporting/work is restricted by the speed of the 840 EVO.  Am I correct here?
Basically, to avoid as much confusion as possible:
Due to the fact that the program that sends all of the instructions (as in, telling the CPU to render this and export that, etc) to the CPU/GPU/etc is SLOWER than the 850 Pro, from which all of the data (media, previews, etc) is accessed, then the speed benefits of the 850 pro over the 840 EVO will NOT be utilized and therefore wasted.
This is just my assumption.  Where am I wrong here, or is this correct?  To use the true benefits of the 850 Pro, should the SSD that the applications are installed on also be an 850 Pro?

  • How-To: Setup up the Samsung CLX-3160

The Samsung CLX-3160 is a color workgroup printer that has the ability to scan, fax, copy, and print. It is a pretty good printer, but the drivers provided for the printer really are just designed to be used when connected to USB. Well thats just WONDERFUL for a printer that is designed to be used over the network right? So as opposed to complaining, lets solve the problem for any of you that needs this for the future.
    1) Open the CUPS web app on your machine (yeah surprised me to)
    http://localhost:631
    2) Click on the Administration Tab
    3) Click on Find New Printers so that the CUPS server will be able to find your printer over the network. If it find it, skip to the test page stuff
    4) More than likely it didn't find your printer so click on Add New Printer. Enter a Name, Location and Description for this printer. Doesn't matter what you pick really so long as you follow the comments and don't use forbidden characters. Click on Continue.
    5) On the next screen it will ask you for the Device (which is really asking for the protocol) and you want to select the IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). Don't select the Http version!
    6) The next screen is asking for your Device URI. To get this, go to the Printer and on the Menu go to the Network Settings.
Menu Button > Network > Network Info > Print > Yes
A page will then print on the printer containing the details you need
On this page there will be a Printer URI (i.e. http://10.0.1.4:631), enter this into the Device URI box and press continue.
For the Make select Samsung, Press continue.
On the Model select CLS-3160 Series and press Add Printer.
The next screen lists the default printer options. Select whatever options you want and then press any of the Set Printer Options buttons.
You will now see the printer setup in the browser. If you go over to the Printer dialog in System Preferences you will see the printer there as well. Before you leave this screen though, press the Print Test Page button.
Give it a few seconds to print.
    You're done. Enjoy!

Finally!!!! Someone that could fix my problem. I called Microsoft, Apple, and Samsung, and none of them could figure out why Print Preview would not work or why my Samsung CLX-3160 would print blanks.
I upgraded to Mac Office 2008 expecting that Leopard did not work well with 2004 Office. The problem remained. I was just about ready to backup everything and spend the day doing a full clean install of everything. Then I found your thread.
After HOURS trying other solutions and listening to each company blame the other, your solution fixed me up. A million thanks.

  • Just got the iPhone6 and did the iCloud setup from a previous backup of my old iPhone5.  iPhone6 is now continuously trying to download the renweb app.  When I try to delete the renweb app, it will not delete.  How can I get rid of the app??

How can I delete the app off my phone without going through the entire setup of the new phone again?  App will not delete the normal way.  I hit delete and it just stays on the phone and tries to download over and over.

If it has a cloud icon it means its no longer on your device.  Tapping on the cloud will effectively reinstall the App from scratch to your device.
There is no way to remove it from the cloud because its not yours to remove from there. Its the general App repository, you are just given access to it to download content you've already purchased.

  • Apple Aluminium Wireless Keyboard - Bluetooth setup sees the keyboard but then green light flashes and it won't pair

I am desperately hoping someone can help me out here...
I have a 1st generation aluminium Apple Wireless Keyboard — the one that needs three batteries, as opposed to two — and it refuses to pair with any of my three Macs.
I was originally using it — for a few years — on an old G4 Mac Mini running Tiger then later on, Leopard.
I recently sold the Mini but in the days leading up to the sale some strange things were happening with the keyboard ...the number '7' key became non-responsive 90% of the time and the Keyboard Viewer app showed it as being constantly pressed down. Every other key was working 100% ok.
Fast forward a few days after the sale of my Mini: Now when I try to connect the keyboard to any of my other Macs, the Bluetooth Setup sees the keyboard no problem at all but when I click 'Continue' to go the the pairing stage, the process just keeps failing!
Whenever I turn my keyboard on I get the expected solid green light for two or three seconds, but after that the keyboard's green light keeps repeatedly blinking until I turn the keyboard off again.
I did notice that the Bluetooth Setup will only ever see the keyboard in those first few seconds when the light is a solid green ...if I wait until the lights starts blinking and then start up the Bluetooth Setup, it does not see the keyboard at all.
If anyone can shed any light on this, I would be enternally grateful!!!! ...especially as I was recently made redundant — that's 'Laid-off' for any Americans reading this! — and I would rather not have to buy yet another expensive Apple keyboard when I'm jobless and really should not have to!!!
I read about a lot of people who's Macs sinply don't see their keyboard, but it's extra frustrating for me as my Macs do see the keyboard but won't bloody well pair with it!
Thanks again to anyone taking the time to read this!

The keyboard and mouse should have come from the factory already paired to the Mac. But if it didn't see this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1809
