Where to upload custom jars for SOA composites?

I have a SOA composite which uses 3rd party jars. Where do I need to upload those jar files? I'm getting java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError error in the logs.

  • Revisioning for SOA Composites SOA12c

    Dear team,
Please suggest how different revisions can be provided for SOA composites in SOA12c.
Option I know is to provide new revisionid for SOA Composite in jdeveloper.
    Please suggest other options.
    Thanks in advance

JDeveloper is the best option to change the composite's revision.  It is guaranteed to be compatible for all releases and is the only supported way of modifying composites I know of.

  • OWSM: Where to put additional jars for a custom step

I'm in the process of creating a custom step for OWSM. The step relies on some additional libraries that are not found on the server at the moment. Where do I put them so that my custom step will find them?
I'd like to avoid packaging them into the steps jar file if possible.

You can put anywhere and probably create shared library in your server.xml and import them in following shared libraries:
    oracle.wsm.policymanager
    oracle.wsm.gateway
    oracle.wsm.coreman
    oracle.wsm.ccore

  • How does B2B Adapter for Inbound operation for SOA Composite works

    Hai,
I am new to B2B. can any one share samples or links or doc's on B2B Adapter for inbound operation (receive)?
Can any one share B2B inbound channel configuration ?

    1. How does the above can be achieved using JMS protocol?Where would you like to pitch-in JMS? You want to receive inbound message at B2B over JMS or between SOA and B2B, you want to use JMS?
For receiving inbound message at B2B over JMS, please create a non-internal listening channel at B2B. Make sure to set JMS headers -
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/user.1111/e10229/app_interface.htm#CACDFEAE
For using JMS between, SOA and B2B, create a JMS channel in Host TP profile and add it in the inbound agreement (for inbound scenario). For outbound scenario, create an internal listening channel and make sure that from back-end, headers mentioned on above link, are being set.
    2. Will SOA Composite having B2B Adapter receive operation has first operation can get triggered automatically or not as soon as EDI----->XML message is found?Yes, it can be triggered. Provided the steps in your another thread.
    3. will B2B Adapter receive operation in SOA Composite will take EDI--------> xml msg as opaque? No, if while modelling B2B adapter, you selected a doc-def otherwise yes.

  • Where does OEM store information about SOA composite instances

    Hi All,
I am posting this query the third time here. I really and urgently need information on where this OEM 12c Cloud Control stores the information about the SOA composite instances like.. if the instances is completed, running, faulted, terminated in the management repository or it does not store these information at all. But then from where it fetches the information on faulted instances which it shows on a SOA composite home page in OEM console.
I really need some concepts on this.

    Hi All,
We have couple composites which needs to be deployed on Oracle SOA 11g, weblogic as platform. My question is can we set work managers for different composites like we generally set dispatch policy for proxy services in OSB. Please let me know.

    Hi
I don't believe you set workmanagers on a composite by composite basis but it may be possible to setup new application scoped work managers in Weblogic although I have never tried this...

  • How to create incident rule for SOA composite faulted instances

    Hi Experts,
How can I create an incident rule for creating an incident when a SOA composite instance goes faulted. I want to notify the administrator when any of the SOA composite instance gets faulted but I am not able to undestand in my incident rule what type of event should be used,in-short I am not able to understand how can I create a rule for eveluating SOA composite faulted instances.
I am posting this query third time here. Please suggest me a solution or is this a limitation of OEM 12c Cloud Control ?
    Please help...its eally urgent!!!

Creating Incident rules is a very simple process as long as you know what event you wanna create your rule one. In your case specifically, its even more simple since you already know your target type and metric name.
    Steps:
    1) Create a rule set.
    2) On the same page hit "Targets" tab and select "All target types" and select "SOA Composite" from the target type list.
    3) Now hit "Rules" tab and then hot "Create" and then select first radio button - "Incoming events" since you wanna wrap SOA composite fault metric alert event into a rule.
    4) Now select "Type" and select "Metric Alert"
    5) Now since you are interested in a "specific event" - SOA composite fault metric alert event, select that radio button and hit "Add"
    6) From the "Target Type" dropdown, select "SOA Composite" target type and type "%Fault%" in the Metric name textbox and hit Search.
    7) Select you Metric name and select you severity as you wish.
    8) Add Actions - create notification, emails etc. (Refer docs to understand how best you can use these options as needed)
    9) Save your rule and save your Rule set.
You have a rule (Make sure its enabled) that will execute your specified actions when any SOA Composite will breach your the selected metric (Fault metric in your case)

  • Where to seek custom service for man-made damage to my T420

    Hello,
I have recently dripple a few water drops to the touchboard area of my T420 when I was running it.  Although I managed to shut it down normally after a few minutes without seeing a blackscreen or sudden crash of the system and I had poured a few water drops out from the computer right after the accident, I could not start it again any more.  I know it is a man-made damage to the mainboard and this is usually costly without an extended warranty. So I am wondering where to seek custom service or private service to get my laptop fixed?  Any suggestions for what I can do right now? I am in the west suburban of the Greater Chicago arae. Thanks!

    Hi and welcome,
Sorry to hear about that accident.  You can find a service provider using this tool: Find Service Provider or Service Center (full disclosure: I haven't tried it).
Was it just water?  How long ago did this happen?  There's at least a chance that once it has dried out the machine will be OK.  A chance...
If you're comfortable doing this remove the battery, the keyborad, palm rest, HD, anything that isn't glued down, and let things dry thoroughly.

  • Where to upload custom JACC provider jar for AS9.1 (Glassfish V2 Beta 1)?

    Hello,
as I do have some issues with SOAPMessage object on AS9.0U1 as described here: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5162508
I'm also trying to duplicate this issue on AS9.1 (Glassfish V2 Beta 1). At the first I need to deploy our custom JACC provider. I've provided correct setup in admin console Configuration -> Security -> JACC providers, I've also switched to use this provider and as I'm used to, I've uploaded JACC provider jar file to the domains/domain1/lib directory. The problem is, it's not working since starting AS9.1 complains about not found class of my provider. As I said, this is exactly how it's working for me on AS9.0U1. Anyway, I've tried to upload the jacc provider jar file to domains/domain1/lib/ext, but then starting AS9.1 complains about missing javax/security/jacc/PolicyContextException. Whole error message in the server log looks like:
    [#|2007-04-20T10:12:52.015+0200|INFO|sun-appserver9.1|javax.enterprise.system.core.security|_ThreadID=10;_ThreadName=main;com.objectsecurity.openpmf.jacc.Policy;|SEC1143: Loading policy provider com.objectsecurity.openpmf.jacc.Policy.|#]

Please note that com.objectsecurity.openpmf.jacc.Policy is a Policy provider of our own JACC provider.
My question is: where exactly to upload JACC provider jar file in order to have it working correctly?
    Thanks!
    Karel

Did you solve this problem? I've been spinning my head over this. I reinstalled my jdk, reinstalled glassfish, and updated my java.policy file and I still get the same problem.

  • Where to put custom .jar-files in order to use them in scripting QPAC?

    Hi,
For testing purposes, I wrote a simple class and put it in a .jar-file to use in scripting QPAC. Unfortunately, I get the following error message in JBOSS:
Class: FooBar not found in namespace
Where do I have to put custom library (jar-)files in order for JBOSS to find them? I already tried
    [...]\jboss\lib as well as
    [...]\jboss\server\all\lib.
    Regards,
    Steve

    Hi Steve
You need to put them in two places:
    1. In the server classpath, so that they can be found at runtime. jboss\server\all\lib should work, or you can even drop them into the server/all/deploy directory. I think if you put them in the lib directory, you need to restart Jboss, whereas if you put them in the deploy directory, they should be dynamically picked up.
    2. For testing purposes, the extra jars need to be in the classpath of the Workflow Designer. Please download our SQLPlus QPAC from:
    http://www.avoka.com/avoka/qpac_library.shtml
It includes a document that describes a technique for adding extra jars to the classpath.

  • Custom Jar creation for SIM customizations

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to create a custom jar for SIM customizations
( which has been done by using extension methodology ) and where to put it so the custom code is picked up first rather than the base code.
    Thanks,
    Susmita

    sim-1311-impg1.pdf says:
    Build/Packaging/Deployment Related
To build and deploy the customizations correctly, make a separate project for
custom-modified code. Make sure any existing Java files that are going to be altered
have the exact same class structure as the base code within this new project. New or
additional Java files might have a class structure that makes sense for the new code.
Build a custom JAR with the modified or newly created code. This custom JAR should
be placed first in the execution classpath so that classes found within the JAR are
chosen by the JVM rather than the base classes. This will require unsigning and
resigning all the JARs in the SIM-client application, since all JARs must be signed with
the same signature for Web Start to work correctly. Consult the jarsigner
documentation from Sun for further information on the JAR unsigning/signing
    process.
    Hope this helps,
    Best regards,

  • In 12C, SOA Composite homepage, Topology tab is missing

    Hi,
I did install 12c cloud control.
After that, deploy agents to monitor soa 11.1.1.5.
Then i installed ADP manager, JVM diagnostics manager, deploy ADP, JVM agents.
All status are succeeded and adp/jvm managers are up, agent status is reporting.
But when I hit any composite link of Deployed Composite in soa-infra home page, it goes to composite home page,
Only 3 tab pages there, home, fault and rejected message and web service policy.
From document it mentioned there should be Topology tab at the end. so normally 4 tab pages.
Is there anything else need to be done to show this Topology tab page for SOA composite?
