Which browser does StageWebView(true) use?

I am using stagewebview with the new native browser support for desktop (' new stageWebView(true)'). I am just try to figure out which browser is used. It appears that windows always uses Internet Explorer regardless of what the systems default browser is. Is this correct? Is there any way to set the browser to Chrome or Firefox if it is the systems default browser?

Everytime i try to open my Firefox i get a window that pops up asking me which browser i want to use to open it. After choosing Firefox it asks to run a C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe.

Same error message, I disabled tab mix and made sure I only have the newest version of Java, restarted firefox, now it seems to be fine no error yet on Pogo games or pictures upload to ebay which were the biggest problems besides hanging. I had also had disabled AVG secure search yesterday but that did not solve the issue. Now I will try to add back in AVG search...I have very few adds ons, also the note embedded about re- installing a toolbar went away, my old one did not work with FF4, so I installed Yahoo toolbar but the message still did not go away until I applied this fix. Hopes this helps someone..

Which macros does BEx Analyzer use? How to call the refresh macro?

I would like to get an overview about which macros the BEx Analyzer uses, espacially the macro which is responsible for refreshing the workbook. I want to know what BEX Analyzer is doing when I open the variable screen, I assume there is an SAP macro that opens the variable screen?? I tried to look in the online help at help.sap.com but couldn't find a list of macros.
The idea behind this is, that I have a BEx workbook with 5 queries in it. A colleague now wnats to write a VBA code that calls the variable screen, enters company 1, period and year, runs the workbook and saves it. Then opens the variable screen again, enters company 2, period year, etc etc etc......
What my colleague needs to know is which macro he has to call for the workbook refresh / variable screen in order to make his VBA coding.

Which version of Bex are you using ? Bex 3.5 or Bex 7 ? This will significantly affect the answer.

We have our own implementation of soap.
WebLogic Web services use Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) 1.1 and 1.2
as the message format and HTTP as the connection protocol. See SOAP 1.1 with
Attachments.
Note: WebLogic Web services accept both SOAP 1.1 and 1.2 incoming
requests, but produce only SOAP 1.1 outgoing responses.

Which apache does Oracle Apps use?

I'm trying to install vision operations on a suse, but I got the RW-50015 portal is not responding error in the post check, I reviewed the sugestions (java the J2SE edition, the host address, the missing variables in the httpd.conf,ports etc) and nothing is working, I also did as a test a apache installation (the one that came with suse) and this is working fine, so I'm out of ideas! anyone could help me?

Oracle buldles its own module with Apache like mod_ossl, mod_oprocmgr, mod_plsql . It uses Apache 1.3.19 bundled with some of its own modules.
Have you checked whats wrong in error_log at $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs or is Web Server Up even try to start via scripts mentioned above ?

Which ports does PVC2300 camera use

I am trying to make our PVC2300 reachable from the outside world. Since it has a web interface we'd like to just reach it through our apache proxy on one of our servers.
We've added:
        ProxyPassReverse /camera_test/ http://192.168.75.97/
        ProxyPass /camera_test/ http://192.168.75.97/
to the configuration file in Apache.
Now, the webpage for the camera is reachable; all settings can be changed, but no streaming video is seen.
Any thoughts on what else we'd have to do?

A VPN conneciton is the recommended best practice to access cameras remotely. But you could open up some port forwarding rules on the router to let through to the camera...
Depends how you set up the camera to some degree....Here I assume that we used the camera advanced setting to set an alternate HTTP port of 1024, so requests can come in for more than one camera on the same LAN (1024, 1025, 1026). If you arent using alternate ports, assume TCP 80 instead.

In General terms, one would expect:
•    If HTTP is selected the video/camera data will be encapsulated in HTTP packets
•    If TCP/UDP is selected the video stream is via RTSP
But this will also depend on the CODEC used:
•    MJPEG uses port 80 for streaming video.
•    MPEG-4 uses port 554 for RTSP streaming

Replaced my verizon router with a netgear wndr 3700 connected to the ont and connected the vz router to the netgear lan -> wan
All appears to work ok except for caller id. I guess one of those port forwarding of verizon services in the vz router controls that?
Anybody have any idea which one it is?

As far I can see there is no user accessible folder. The images will just appear on the devices and applications that have Photo Stream enabled. You cannot delete individual images from the stream. You can delete all by resetting the stream from your iCloud account settings on the iCloud web site.
Remember that you must update iPhoto and/or Aperture to see the photos on your Mac.

Bank webpage does not work no matter which browser I use

I tried all the browsers, I still cant use my bank's website, I think they run a script, to make a payment, I click on which account I want to use in a list in a table in the top of the page, and I choose the beneficiary from a drop down menu, which then displays my bill, I click on that, then I push the submit button, and the payment goes through. This works on every PC I've used, but not on the Mac. Any idea how to fix this?
Also, my online trading page does not work, it just says, error, reload, which never works.

Tom is absolutely correct that the fist step should be to contact the bank and trading account and ask them if they support Macs (and if not, why not).
Taking it a step further, while some websites are coded using Microsoft webpage coding tools that generate non-standard HTML, or use ActiveX to implement page features (never mind that ActiveX is notoriously a huge security loophole --- just what you waqnt on a financial website, no?), and those pages will only work with Internet Explorer under Windows, a depressing number of websites are coded using proper HTML and Java instead of ActiveX, but the pages are coded to check the browser type ("user agent") and refuse to work if the browser doesn't report that it's IE/Windows. This is usually done so that the programmers don't have to bother to check their coding on other platforms or browsers, in the belief that doing so makes for more efficient (read: cheaper) development.
You can check if that's the case with the sites you're trying to use by enabling the Debug menu in Safari, then uing that Debug menu to set the User Agent to be MSIE Windows.
To enable Safari’s Debug Menu, open Applications> Utilities> Terminal when Safari is closed and enter:
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
Restart Safari to see the Debug Menu.

When 100 MB limited bis package is finished the connection speed decreases to 5 kpbs. Because of this reason i have to use as much as internet apn. I did tcp / ip setting and i chose the internet apn. I want the browser to use the internet or wap apn. How can i do that? I could choose whether wi-fi, blackberry browser or wap browser while i was using OS5 browser.

How can I determine which browser is used(Microsoft IE or Netscape)

As you probely know: Netscape doesn't support the same functionality as IE.
To gain the maxium functionality from IE without solving problems in Netscape, the customer has decided to work with two different stylesheets(one for IE and one for Netscape).
Now my question is, how can I determine in Portal in which browser(IE or Netscape) it is running.

The browser ID string is a HTTP request parameter. How you get to it depends entirely on what you're programming in. You want to get the value of the User-Agent parameter (for example, in CGI, this is HTTP_USER_AGENT).
However, I'd advise against doing things this way unless you really understand how HTTP works on many levels. One common problem people run into on sending different content based on the browser is that proxy servers will happily cache everything and send content intended for one browser to another.
I have not seen any IE functionality that Netscape does not also have that is worth this hassle, but that's just my very stubborn opinion. :-)

With IE 8.0, the Alert Inbox works properly, but the other application (End-to-End Monitoring, Component Monitoring ...) does not work.
With FireForx, the Alert Inbox does not displayed all data, but the other applications works properly.
