Can you use CC itself to link the application? Also, check you have put the correct directories in the link command (I can see rdbs instead of rdbms)

The Genius bar said they would call me in 3-5 days for me to pick up my computer. 9 Days later not hearing back from them I went in to get an update February 19, 2013 No one can tell me what was done except my HD was replaced they can't answer my questions about my itunes library being reinstated or my videos, music is missing, podcasts, etc. I was even using icloud, empty? They tell me IF I find anything wrong or not working again to just bring it back. My iMovie videos ALL the edits are missing ? I can't find ANY of my videos in my itunes my Library is empty as it is in imovie except for 2 videos? HELP! The Apple Store is not responsible for data loss and generally does not do any backups of your data before performing any repairs, though in some cases, as seems to be the case in yours, they guide you to making your own backup. Here's what they say on the "getting service page" (when I've taken a system in for service a similar statement was presented to me when I agreed to the service):
Many repairs require Apple to replace or reformat the hard disk, which will result in the loss of your data. Please make sure you back up your data on a regular basis to minimize your data loss. Learn more about backup options. Apple and Apple Authorized Service Providers are not responsible for any damage to or loss of any applications, data, or other information stored on your Mac desktop while performing service.
Since you say that you backed up your videos before the drive was replaced, why can you not just restore them? And did you not back up anything else?
If you didn't make any sort of backup of your other data prior to taking the iMac in for service, then sorry but your data is almost certainly gone. Regular reliable backups are a must, particularly when dealing with content you spend a lot of time creating. You may be able to re-download any content you purchased from the iTunes Store or Mac App Store, but anything else you'll have to recreate or re-obtain from the original source.

I've been restoring my iTunes folder from a backup hard drive to a new computer on which I've downloaded the latest iTunes (10.7). If this is a newer version than the one I backed up with could this be the problem? (I had the latest (to my knowledge) iTunes when I backed up the folder about 3 weeks ago, was this version 10.7?)
Or is the version of iTunes (within recent updates) not an issue when restoring a library?

The general method of use is to download the script to a folder of your choice, e.g. your Desktop, Downloads folder or create a folder at ...\iTunes\Scripts. Select a playlist or highlight some tracks in iTunes and then double-click on the script to execute it. If no specific tracks are selected the script will try to work with all tracks in the current playlist. Some scripts offer a choice of track by track confirmation of changes or fully automatic processing of the selection. Many of the scripts can optionally display a progress bar while running.
You are strongly advised to backup your entire library, or at the very least the iTunes Library.itl file, before use. Test the behaviour of your chosen script on a small group of files first to make sure it does what you want before applying it to large numbers of files.
Most builds of Windows will execute *.vbs scripts when you double-click them. If that doesn't happen then you might need to visit the Add/Remove Programs or Programs & Features control panel to enable the Windows Scripting Host. I can track down details if you have issues.
Backing up and restoring data is an area that is often glossed over. Most people don't try to learn much about it until they've lost something important. (Me too )
If your iTunes library was in the usual layout then normally copying the whole iTunes folder from the User's Music folder in the old computer to the User's Music folder in the new one will usually work fine. Ideally this is done before iTunes is installed so that there is no empty library to replace, and all settings are picked up from the old library. This post contains more details.

ALL of my photos and my iPhoto library are missing!!!

Anytime I want to download photos (whether it is from an SSD card, iPhone or iPad) I simply plug in the device, wait for iPhoto to open, then choose the photos I want to upload. Today when I did so a message appeared saying "Which photo library do you want iPhoto to use?". The window options were blank! There were no libraries!!! I did a bit of research on the web and looked at quite a few other discussion threads. I cannot find my iPhoto library anywhere - under my user account, etc.
I have done nothing out of the ordinary lately. The last update to the system was May 22nd: OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 and iTunes 11.2.1
I don't have a back-up, because the 1TB external hard drive I have has other files on it, and I haven't wanted to erase them to use it for Time Machine. And I can't afford another external hard drive at the moment. I HAVE transferred about 60-70% of my photo library, but not all of it. Also, I downloaded iPhoto Library Manager as some of the other threads suggested. It found no other libraries to restore.
Can anyone tell me why my photos would have mysteriously disappeared in the past two days (my iMac is at work - a church where no one has been the past few days due to the holidays)? And where they might be?
This is serious!! (hundreds, if not thousands, of pics missing)

Give this fix a try:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager demo version and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
4 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

That .itl file actually is the library -- at least the critical part of it although the library is actually many files and folders.
Try starting iTunes and immediately hold down the option key. When it asks, guide it to the .itl file.
It's really hard to say without being able to poke around your computer. Upgrading should not delete the old library, but still it happens to the very, very few which is why we make backups before updating. If the old library file is gone then so are your playlists. You can always see if the following is of any use:

Memory Leak in OCCI library

Hi,
I am using OCCI library and oracle XE. There is noticeable amount memory leak in CreateEnvironment and CreateConneaction API funtions. I am not sure whether it is known problem. If the oracle server is down my application has to retry several times using these above mentioned methods and memory grows significantly.
Here is a simple program which creates environment and create connection and terminates immediately in a while loop. We see huge memory leak.

Can't really speak about the memory leak issue that you suspect with the library, but do note that that you do not need to terminate the environment in a reconnect loop. terminateEnvironment is meant to be called at program exit, not disconnect. This may help with the memory issue somewhat.

Missing Internal Linked Story (CS6)

Hello all!
I have just opened a document in InDesign CS6 which I created myself a few days back. I copied and pasted text from Microsoft Word to Notepad and then into InDesign (I probably didn't need to do the Notepad step but just in case).
The text is divided in small boxes so just importin the Word Document wouldn't have worked for me in this case.
Regardless, now that I have opened this file again, I get some weird link error where it says I am missing story links in each box. Here is the screenshot.
The text is still present and editable and acts just as any text, which is what I expect it to do. However I don't understand the issue with the missing linked story, especially since I didn't even import anything: I copied and pasted the text.
I have no idea of how to solve this, in practice it doesn't affect the document and I can export the file with no issues, but I still would like to know what InDesign is on about.

Edit: Oh nevermind the screenshot didn't load for some reason. It's turned off already. But maybe for some reason it was on when I first made the file *shrug* Although I didn't touch that option at all.

Receive error messaage when loading pogo fb connect library is missing (all.js) but will load fine on chrome

the website loads fine, but when loading the message [ fb connect library is missing (all.js) ] appears and i cannot select a room for play. i downloaded chrome and I no longer received the message, which led me to believe that the firefox browser must have something to do with this problem. I have already cleared all browsing history and cache, including java cache, I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it
I prefer firefox over chrome but will have to have chrome just to play my games.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Searching library by missing photos

I would like to be able to search my entire library for missing photos and be able to narrow the search by date, type, etc, which I can already do. The only way I can think of to find missing photos besides looking at each one to see if there is a question mark is to rename them or export them. Then lightroom will bring up a list of missing photos that cannot be renamed, exportorted, etc. What would also be nice is if the text in that list of missing photos could be selectable so i could copy the file names and paste them to my notepad so i can proceed to search for them.
Im a professional photographer and these features would be really helpful.

I may be misunderstanding what you are wanting to do, but the find missing photos command from the library menu will find all missing photos in the entire catalog.

Your library is missing, please make sure disk is mounted...
I can't say which iPhoto version it is, because I cannot run it.
In my Pictures directory there is iPhoto Library folder, so I don't know what the reason can be.
Does anyone have any idea?

ITunes Library Frequently MIssing

Since I started plugging in my new iPhone, my iTunes library intermittenly goes missing. I can simply browse for it and find it again, but this behavior is making me nervous. Anyone experience this behavior or know a fix? I do have my iTunes library on an external drive, but this definitely started with the iPhone. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I had this same problem today and I freaked out!!! I just got the 4th gen ipod and im still using my 3rd gen which is jail broken. I choose to restore it and a few days later I noticed all the music, videos and apps from my itunes library was missing. I had backed up all music but not videos so I was a little mad, but then today when I turned on my new gen ipod all the music was missing from there as well!? Not sure what happened. thought maybe because it was jail broken it erased my library but why my new gen? I got most of everything back but not sure what happened. I also have had the 4th gen freeze often while trying to shoot video.

"Damaged iTunes" / 75% of library suddenly missing

Can anyone please help me with this? I clicked on my iTunes the other day and instantly got the message "iTunes damaged" When I pulled up my iTunes, 75% of my music library was missing. I downloaded a upgrade to the latest version and my songs + artists are still missing.
I also went to Edit/ Preferences/ Advanced and selected my folder tunes folder in my external hard drive where all of my music is as my "iTunes Music Folder Location."
Please help. I trade bootleg music and have spent far too long labeling this stuff to have to re-burn it and do it again.

Upgraded to Yosemite, now half my iphoto library is missing!

I just discovered that, after upgrading to Yosemite & iPhoto 9.6 (using the iPhoto Library Upgrader), half of my library is missing or didn't get converted/reimported. I have an external hard drive (Time Machine) that automatically backs up the hard drive, but I can't seem to find the photos there either. Please help!

I do not mean the entire ITunes folder but, rather, the contents of the ITunes folder prior to September 29th. (90% of the media is missing, along with all playlists) The media that remains says it was added on 9/29 although I know most of it was added many months or even years earlier. There are no playlists listed at all, before or after 9/29. (I know for certain that I added non-iTunes purchased songs on 10/6 although I had not created playlists for them)
I have my iTunes folder backed up on both an external drive as well as Time Machine.
I run iTunes off of an ITunes folder on my computer rather than from the external, if that's what you mean about how I have it set up.
Is it OK to drag the entire iTunes folder from the external drive onto my laptop's drive and see if that fixes it?

How can I find out which iTunes library my computer is using?

I have a desktop Mac Mini at home that my wife uses and a MacBook Pro that I use at home and in the office. I wanted to be able to access all the music we have on both machines from both machines, even when I am out and about and have no network connection for my MacBook Pro. So, I uploaded all the music we had on iTunes to Dropbox, and this now syncs on both computers. So, whenever either of us adds music to iTunes, the songs are saved on both machines within the Music folder in Dropbox, which syncs in real time across both computers. So far so good.
However, what I am finding is that, when either of us adds new music to our respective iTunes, it only shows on the computer on which it's been added. So, within a matter of weeks, our computers no longer show the same music in our respective iTunes windows, even though the music is present on both machines in the synchronised Dropbox folder.
I realised that the computers must start using different iTunes library to each other when new songs are added to either machine. So, I figured that, when we add music to one of the computers, if I pointed iTunes on the computer that has the less up-to-date music to the latest library that is being used by the computer with the more up-to-date music, this would ensure that both machines showed the same music in their repective iTunes windows. The problem is that I cannot work out which iTunes library is being used by the computer with the more up-to-date music on it. I know how to choose a different library when I open iTunes (hold down alt) but that doesn't help, because I all I want to do is to FIND OUT WHICH LIBRARY IS BEING USED BY ITUNES ON THE COMPUTER WITH THE MORE UP-TO-DATE MUSIC. I simply can't find a way of getting iTunes to show me which library it is using, although this must be the simplest thing in the world. An additional issue is that I want to playlists we have created to appear on both machines - will that be the case if I point the less up-to-date iTunes (on my wife's Mac Mini) to the library of the more up-to-date iTunes (on my MacBook Pro), since my computer with the more up-to-date iTunes shows all the playlists, whereas my wife's doesn't?
So, can anyone help? Plus if anyone knows of any software that can automatically ensure that two different Macs both use the same and most up-to-date iTunes library and therefore always show the lastest music collection, whichever machine the music has been added to, that would be fantastic. You could have all the computers point to the same library but it can't be opened by more than one at any time.
No answer for knowing which library is in use other than selecting it at startup. This question gets asked here occasionally but I don't think it is a high-demand feature since most people have just one library. I guess you could put in an empty playlist with the library name so you have an identifier.
