Which programs do I have to download ?
Im completly noob to Java, I want to download an Application that i can develop apps and games
but there are too many programs available, and I dont know which one to choose, I downloaded some to try
but they always ask me for the JDK, i downloaded JDK but it still doesn recognise.
Could you tell me which programs to download ?

No, I'm not talking about iTunes. The music icon is orange with a dark brown series of notes. It should be in thel lower right side of your home screen.
If it's not there, you might try Settings > General > Reset > Reset home screen layout. -

CNET tell me which programs on my PC need updating ie CC Cleaner. Ad Aware and similar. So I download the updates and get a message at the bottom of the screen that tells me the updates have been downloaded.

I have re-set Google as my search engine and home page, but "MySearchDial" is pre-written in the Google search bar when I open the Google homepage. This was one of the programs which was downloaded in addition to my selectred update.

I am trying to download a document which requires me to have Adobe Reader, which I do; however, it keeps asking me to install the Reader program. When I try to do that, I keep getting a message that I have a more functional product installed. Regardless, I cannot open the document that i need and it is urgent that i complete it and send it in. When you have downloaded it, then clean out the old adobe reader and then try to install the latest one, i had to do this about a week ago and it solved the problem.

I keep plugging in my iPhone to my computer, but iTunes says it does not recognize my phone and won't sync because it needs the latest version of iTunes (11.1 I believe?) to work. I have already downloaded the latest version of iTunes, and I have retried multiple times just incase and it says I already have the latest version downloaded. What can I do to make iTunes recognize my phone again?

It sounds like you have downloaded iTunes from the download site, but when you connect the phone to your computer you are prompted to update iTunes to 11.1. I would start by opening iTunes and then verifying the version that is running with this article:

On Windows
Open iTunes.
On the Help menu, click About iTunes. A window appears with scrolling text. The first text that appears displays the iTunes version (press the Space bar to freeze the text if it's moving too fast for you to read).
Also when you download the iTunes installer, you MUST double click the file that was downloaded to install it.
You can check in your Programs folder and try running the iTunes application from there to see if that works.

That depends on which program you downloaded and how/where it was installed/saved.
Let's explain it this way:
Every account has a home folder (the little house icon you see in the Users folder, Go Menu or Finder Sidebar. Within every home folder there are a number of folders: Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Movies etc. Have a look yourself. Unless you want to almost all of those folders restrict access for any other user account, This is by design.
So Andy logs into his account launches a browser and decides to download Dropbox. Safari stores/saves downloads into Andy's Downloads folder which is in his home folder. From there Andy launches Dropbox and begins to use it and when he's done he logs out and leaves the computer free for Bob and tells him he's downloaded Dropbox.
Bob logs in and trys to find Dropbox so he can use it but he can't find it. That's because Andy has left the Dropbox app in his Downloads folder which only Andy has access to. Bob now has three choices. He either downloads Dropbox again; or he asks Andy to grant him access to his Downloads folder; or he asks Andy to move Dropbox from his Downloads folder to the Applications folder.
The situation is slightly complicated in that not all programs/apps you download are stored in the Downloads folder. Some will get installed in the Applications folder.
Every account has access to all the programs/apps in the Applications folder.

I may have deleted download program
I think I deleted the program that downloads programs. I have the BOM Archive, but I was trying to use the Handheld Sync Installer to open Ventrilo for my computer. However, it says that the Palm Hotsync Folder is missing. Is there a way I can re-download this program? If not, do I need to reset my computer to default?
We don't know what model powerbook you have. You can get replacement discs at a reduced cost from Apple if you provide them with your serial number. However, I believe those will just be for the original ones that came with your computer and it might not be Tiger. Otherwise this is a tough time to get Tiger because Apple no longer sells it and lots of people still want it so it is going for a premium. you can try e-bay or there are various online retailers. It is vitally important that if you buy it online that you get the retail install version which is black in color. Do not get the gray version which was supplied with a computer and very likely will not work with your model computer.

But you could have viruses that may not effect an iOS device or even a Mac, but could easily be unwittingly passed on to PC users. So, if you send and receive a lot of email with attachments,and many of your receivers are PC users, you may consider whether you want to risk forwarding them a virus, etc.

I did not use my computer yesterday, and now all of a sudden, Firework does not open at all after clicking on its icon or starting as a program. I did not download any upgrades or anything else, and I have Norton 360 version 3. I can open Internet Explorer, but that's not my default browser, so I have no problem with the Internet connection.
What could be the problem, how can I restore my browser without losing my bookmarks, settings, etc?
