Which server in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist pulls down the package list

Basically, I have the top 5 servers via /usr/bin/rankmirrors however, according to mirrorcheck none of the are up-to-date. If I manually add a server that has been updated and do a pacman -Syy I suddenly have tons of new packages to download. Is it the first server in the list that pacman uses to grab the package index file or...?

Yes, pacman will use the first server on the list, unless it times out trying to talk to the server, in which case it moves on to the next in the list.
What I actually would recommend is to use something like this to grab a recent mirror that works quick for you. Reflector is in AUR.
sudo reflector -h 1 -f 5 -o /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.ranked
This looks for places updated in the last hour and gives you the fastest 5 of those.

It's become difficult to see, but if you move the cursor about slowly in the grey area between the addresses and the message text window, you should be able to find the handle that lets you resize the addressing area and thereby see more addresses. Got it! Thanks so much. A little more detail for the benefit of others: you'll find the addressing area resize handle immediately above the white text area, in the narrow part of the grey area below all of the address field, subject line, scroll boxes and icons.

That is one of the intermediate certificates that VeriSign is using. Intermediate certificates are part of the chain that is formed by the web server certificates and build-in root certificates. Such an intermediate certificate needs to be send by the server and is not included by default in Firefox. Firefox will store such an intermediate certificate for future use when a website sends it.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.

There has been a security update of the Flash Player and the current version is 10.1 r85 , so you are two versions behind (previous was 10.1 r82).

For me, I have the same question, this is a poorly done upgrade and I want to go back to 3.6

When I right click a link or pull down the new menu in Firfox 4 it twitches and disappears. What's the fix for this?

I downloaded and installed the new Firefox4 yesterday and when I right click links to open them in a new tab or copy something it will blink on and off (twitch) then disappear. I can still click where I saw the option and it'll work, but it's really annoying.
The pull down Firefox tab where the save as buttons, new tab, bookmarks and all that jazz does the same thing.
It's REALLY frustrating.

I had this problem and resolved it by going to
Options> Advanced Tab> General (on the same page) and unticking "use auto scrolling".
You can leave smooth scrolling on however :)

I got this doubt, when searching logs on the servers. I have 2 WFE's in my farm, I got an error from enduser. So in which WFE server i need to check the logs.
How to configure logs path. Is it is possible to specify logs path on our own instead of 14 hive folder.

That is a really bad idea, especially with idle disconnects and other unreliability of CIFS.
You should instead check out the command
Merge-SPLogFiles which will allow you to combine ULS logs from multiple servers into a single file.
You can certainly specify your own path, but the path must be available on all servers. For example, if you specified D:\Logs, D:\Logs must exist on all SharePoint servers within the farm.

Yes there is a location for the outgoing smtp server password, if it is incorrect or missing it will not send mail.
On the Gmail account preference pane locate the outgoing mail server, click the blue arrows and a list will open and Edit SMTP server will show. Select this and then select gmail and advanced, it will give a location for your email address and password.

HD Crashed any way to pull down the website into iWeb

My HD on my Mac Mini died and was replaced. No data was recoverable. I've reinstalled iWeb. Is there any way to import my iWeb website back into iWeb?

For your future reference:
Your iWeb data is stored, not in your actual html files, but in a file called Domain.sites which is stored in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. You should backup this file whenever you make big changes to your site, because if it gets lost or damaged, you will have to start all over. If you want to work on your site on another computer, copy this file to a thumb drive to move it around.

When entering a website my history will pull down in a list but when I hit enter to go to a site after typing it in that drop down doesn't close anymore, how do I fix that so it goes away when I navigate to a page?

My history will drop down from the navigation bar and highlight the letters I am typing so I can choose a previous page if I want to. But when I press enter to tell it to go to a site the drop down does not go away I have to click somewhere to make it go away. It is suppose to just go away when you click one of the history items it shows or press enter to go to a site and it doesn't anymore.

When opening pull down the choices are at the bottom of the screen and I cannot use the mouse to change choices

In V3, in Chrome and in Explorer this works fine. I open an eteamz site, any pulldown that I access the choices are way down on the screen. When I try to scroll through the choices I cannot with the mouse I can with the arrows.

Recently, the Yahoo Toolbar and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause that problem. They seem to overlap invisibly over the top of the web page display. If you have either or both, uninstall or disable them/it, or see if an update is available that solves the problem.
