While it is against the TOU of these boards to speculate on future products/updates what Thomas said is right: FCPX is quite a new product and it doesn't make any sense to drop it now.
The only thing that MIGHT get dropped at a certain point is support for older hardware/OS as FCP X progresses.

They fully support Mac users – I should be able to upload the files from iWeb and use the files on their Linux hosting package. Past experience is Sales; Info and Tech support teams at 1&1 are always very prompt and helpful. Just wanted second opinion before committing.
I gather 1&1 Internet also support Adobe Muse hosting.

Nothing special, beyond an intelligent human being, is required to make this happen.

Just to add this : iWeb -- the app itself -- is still supported,updated only months ago and as part of the ilife '11 DVDs still widely spread even though it is not sold on the AppStore it is official part of iLife. It runs in Lion and there is zero issues with the app. So a training makes sense, doesn't it ?.
They would only to exclude the "publish to me.com" part to be up to date for courses and trainings :-≠

Just down loaded firefox4. My imac system, OS X, will not support it. Now what?

I downloaded firefox4 on my imac. I have OS X operating system and when I try to open firefox I get a message that tis system will not support firefox. I had firefox before and it crashed. I trashed ii and downloaded version 4.

Anyone know how to reach someone in customer service who will not out and out LIE to us?

Just so frustrated right now... in the near week since my husband's iPhone was stolen, we have spoken to four different reps and three so-called supervisors. Each one has either made the problem worse or actually lied to us. Does anyone know how to reach someone at Verizon who will help us? We have three iPhones with Verizon and are ready to leave for AT&T.
So far, this is what we've had:
1. As we were tracking the phone with the police to get it back, Verizon tech support advised us to wipe the phone because we'd still be able to track it. WRONG. Phone lost forever. Verizon clearly does not understand what "wipe" means on MobileMe. What they should have said is, "We don't know for sure, so don't wipe it."
2. Rep transferring my husband's phone number to a backup handset transferred MY number to that phone, deactivated MY iPhone and reported it as stolen. When they were trying to fix it, we were assured that our unlimited data plan would not be affected. WRONG. Reps are now refusing to give it back.
3. Next rep advised us to get insurance on the phones because if anything happens, they are replaced for free. WRONG. $199 deductible, which we found out from the next rep.
4. The supervisor we spoke to yesterday said she would pull the tapes from the call center, review them to make sure that IT gave us the wrong information, and then call us back the next day with a discounted rate on a new iPhone. She gave us her name and direct number... both of which were bogus. The number goes to a media specialist at some public school. Subsequent reps have told us that there is no way anyone at Verizon would say that.
5. We have been promised three times that a supervisor would call us within 24 hours... almost a week later, no calls from anyone.
So if anyone has any leads on how to speak to someone who will make this nightmare go away, please, please, let me know. Thank you.

Will Quicktime support PPAPI? Does it already?

Quicktime is blocked in Chrome, IE Explorer, and Firefox, but not yet in Safari. Can I count on this being true in the future?
Let me explain my problem:
I'm developing a website that will show literally hundreds of video clips of American Sign Language. The linguists who will access this site will not know the language, but will need to view each video clip carefully, which means they will need: (1) subtitles of each sign; and (2) the ability to cursor through the clip frame by frame. So far my solution to this has been Adobe PDFs with Quicktime clips embedded in them since Quicktime is the only interface that has provided these abilities. Until recently, the only small website I have on this so far, at www.vincentasl.info (which has mostly audio, but some video), has worked fine: click on a small icon, and a window showing the video would open. But now suddenly the videos don't play - doubtless a security issue since Adobe is deprecating anything but Flash, whose interface will not provide the capabilities I need.You can see how this is supposed to work by going to the link below and downloading the PDF there to your hard drive before opening it (or just maybe it will have no problem in Safari).

Testing to see if switching to an HTML interface will solve my problem, I found that Quicktime is blocked in Chrome, IE Explorer, and Firefox. One can click a button to allow it, but that is unsatisfactory for two reasons: (1) It will be a real nuisance to users to have to do this again and again for every single clip; and (2) What I have learned so far about this seems to say that NPAPI capabilities will be totally removed from those browsers later.
But hurrah! My clips work in Safari without so much as a complaint! Does this mean (a) that Apple has simply not decided to block it yet? Or (b) that they've solved the problem, and if I switch my whole developing system to HTML and tell my readers just to stick to Safari I'm out of the woods on this?

Thanks for the links, but the first one appears to require Quicktime, and I thought the whole point was to try to use HTML5's built-in video player instead of a plug-in. The second one is encouraging to the degree that it tells us the problem is solved, but does not tell us what the solution is.
Turning to why my results differ from what you would expect, in hopes of shedding light on the matter, here are the three versions I've tried:
1. This code worked perfectly and immediately in Safari for the PC (version 5.1.7, which is the latest available), and perfectly in chrome and IE, although not immediately since one must pause to give permission:

When will iSync Support SE P990?

I just wonder when will iSync support P990i as I have been using iSync and .Mac for ages. I don't want to change my life style so I just wondering when will iSync support P990i??

I share the dissappointment of other SE P990i owners who have discovered that their new smartphone does not work at all with iSync, unlike the previous P800/P900/P910 models. Yes, I do know that the underlying Symbian OS has changed, which explains the difficulty. But one would hope that, after the new phone has been available from around September 2006, Apple would by now have updated iSync to deal with this important new top-of-the-line Sony Ericsson business phone.
My only "solution" was to synchronize the SE P990i with my IBM ThinkPad under Windows XP and Outlook 2003. Worked like a charm... Too bad for my PowerBook...
I am in the market for a new computer in a couple of months. If this issue is not solved, I fear it may be time to continue sticking with the other side...

I am in chat with support now and it really pisses me off that this is kind of service provided by a leading US software company! Today, the Skype Manager website is not functioning well when I try to loign from Signapore. I can login at first place then when I click "charge credit" button, it kicks me out. I tried to re-login but seeing an empty error message bar in pink without a character. First, this is a bug, it is common sense to show an error message when anything took place. The answer I got from the support chat is "because your account is blocked" then I figured that my IP is a suspicious one. What? just because I am trying to login from Asia?2nd, when I tried one hour to open the Chat from Support, it always failed, I have to turn on my VPN to start a chat session, obviously, Skype does not like Asia! After hours, I suspect Skype is using some auto-anti-fraud system that blocks your account automatically by your IP origination, Isn't this a discrimination? I am ready to sue them! i have 6 accounts for my 6 associates are blocked, now, they can only login on their iPhone app or Windows app. App on MAC is not working... All my skype # not working and i cannot login Skype Manager to update my credit card info. I also was told if all Admin accounts are blocked for a business account in Skype Manager then "we suggest you to start a new account!" Hare are my advices.1. To Microsoft: please fire the SVP who is in charge of Skype business and have the guy who is managing Office365 to manage it!!!2. To Customers: any alternatives for Skype? I've been trying for 6 months to get to someone in Skype re them double billing my debit card but not giving me credit for the ongoig double charges. It's unconsiousionable that we cannot get to an accounts person to rectify. It's more so intentional criminal activity that they would make it so difficult to resolve. The CEO, CFO and CTO should be imprisioned. Who will join me in filing a compliant with the US Attorney General???

An error message occured " The licence agreement was not accepted. The application will now quit". I have been trying to uninstall and reinstall the application for fifth times. The same error occured while i try to open the acrobat.

Oracle SQL-92 Non compliance: When will oracle support empty strings?

Oracle is the only database on the planet that equates an empty string to a null value. For several major versions, Oracle has said "Make sure you don't rely on null and empty string equivalency because it could go away in the future." When will Oracle get with it and support this aspect of the SQL-92 standard (not to mention mathmatical logic)?

Important factors to remember when filling out the Enhancement Request Service Request template and creating the Service Request:

Explain in detail the enhancement you would like implemented
If possible, describe how the product can be changed to achieve the desired results.
Describe your business expectations. Include key milestone dates and justifications as to why this request is so important and the benefits your organization stands to gain should this request be accepted.
Once your Service Request has been created, it will be assigned to a Support Engineer who will validate your information. In some cases, your request may be a new or known product defect that the Support Engineer can either provide a fix, a workaround, or introduce to Oracle Development for resolution. In other cases, you may be presenting a valuable product enhancement that can improve Oracle product functionality. In all cases, the Support Engineer will be able to qualify your request and pass along the information to Oracle Development.
Once the Support Engineer validates your request, and an agreed upon action plan is created, your Support Engineer will create a new Enhancement Request and provide you with an Enhancement Request tracking number. The BUG search tool on MetaLink can then be used to receive status updates.

My spouse (who has now passed away) had an itouch with an itunes library on an IMac. here is the problem, I bought an new iphone 6 and wanted to sync with my windows xp library and of course my itunes version is out of date and I need to update it...well I try and update the version and it will not update the Itunes library and when I researched it I would have to upgrade from XP to Windows 7...r they kidding me...first of all my computer is old and a pain in the *** but I have my itunes library on it. Sp to get my phone working I sync'd it on the IMac and my spouses Itunes library has been sync'd to my iphone and I don't know how to get my library on it...After thinking about it I want to combine the libraries after all there are some purchases on each one.

- Try moving the backup file to a safe location so iTunes has to create an entire new one.. It is locate here and you may have to have show hiddn files turned on.
