Why can't i finde icloud on my imac? I'm new at this and pushed in the wrong, so I didn't get the correct answer

i can't find it inside the system settings. Where it should be there is mobileme. what can i do to get icloud there?
i try to follow the guide on http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.htmlbut i can't go any further, because i can see on the pic, that where icloud should be is there mobileme on my mac.

As Kappy and Ralph Landry1 mentioned, you have to have Lion v10.7.2 installed in order to setup iCloud.
If you are running Snow Leopard v10.6 you can download Lion from the App Store.

If your phone number isn't listed on an iPod touch or iPad, follow these steps:
1. Update to the latest version of iOS.
2. Verify that you're using the same Apple ID that you're using on your iPhone.
3. On your iPad or iPod touch, sign out of your Apple ID in the following locations:
    - Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
    - Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
4. Sign in to your Apple ID with FaceTime and iMessage.
If your phone number still isn't listed, follow these steps:
1. Sign out of your Apple ID on all iOS devices, including your iPhone, in the following locations:

That's consistent with another application (other than QuickTime) having dropped old QuickTime componentry in non-standard locations on the PC.
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view options on the PC.

4. In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected, and the "Hide extensions for known file types" option is unchecked.

Now in My Computer, open your C drive.
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "system32" folder.
What files and/or folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the file/folder name? (In a standard installation of QuickTime, you should see precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

I have iCloud selected in settings on iPad and iPhone but I can't find it on Pages, numbers or Keynote.

in bought it a week ago, so it should be the latest version, but where do I see if it's the newest, it's up in the apple and then about this mac?

Your Mac needs to be running OS X 10.7.4 or later to have iCloud in System Preferences.
What version is yours running?
Note that iCloud does not backup photos from a Mac. The Photostream feature is a temporary storage for transferring photos between iOS devices and back to a Mac for download.

Why can't I find Photoshop Elements 11 Photomerge under "File/New"

When I used Photoshop VERSION 10, I would do a Photomerge by selecting "File/New". Now that I have Photoshop VERSION 11, this option does not exist. What happened to it? How can I do a photomerge with this latest version of the product? Thanks, Ron

It's now under Enhance>Photomerge in the pse 11 editor and you'll probably want to be in the expert mode.

After a clean install of Yosemite 10.10.3 on a MacBook Pro, I chose not to upgrade from iCloud to iCloud Drive because it would break syncing with my iPhone 4. My docs are still visible in iCloud, according to System Preferences. I can access them on my iPad but I not from my MacBook Pro. Calendars and Contacts sync ok.
I tried logging out of iCloud, rebooting and logging back in, but that did not remedy the problem.
What's gone wrong?

Just so I'm clear. You have enabled iCloud Drive in your iCloud preferences:

Try turning Find My iPhone off, then back on.

Why can't I find a Lion download anywhere? My Macbook is not compatible with Mountain Lion (it's old). And all I want is iCloud. Very frustrating!

Why can't I setup iCloud mail on my MacBook Pro?

Context: I had two accounts configured in my Mail.app - an Exchange account for work, and a personal iCloud account. I've had the iCloud account since it was .me, and it has worked fine until recently. It also continues to work fine on my iPad and iPhone and on the iCloud website. So here is what I have experienced...
In August, this account stopped working on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro. I started getting errors telling me my password was not accepted by the account anymore, and no matter what I tried, I could never get the account working on that MacBook after that. I didn't really care that much at the time because I knew I was getting a new one soon, and sure enough I did. I received my MacBook Pro with Retina sometime in September.
On day one, I configured all of my account settings through iCloud and the Mail app, and everything was great. Emails coming in and going out, notes being perfectly synced... it was great. This lasted until Thursday or Friday of last week. I powered up my MacBook and saw my iCloud account was offline in Mail. When I tried to take it online, I received (and still receive when I try to set it up) this error:
"The iCloud IMAP server “p01-imap.mail.me.com” is not responding. Try checking the network connection, and that the server name is correct. Otherwise, the server might be temporarily unavailable. If you continue, you might not be able to receive messages."
I know the credentials are accurate, I know my Internet is fine (and I've done this at multiple locations, home/work/Beaners), and I know I've tried every troubleshooting step I can find for this. I did the signing out of iCloud and rebooting thing, that did not work. I also cannot enable mail or notes through the iCloud preference pane. I know this because when I try, I receive the following error:
"iCloud Mail couldn't be enabled from the iCloud Preference Pane."
It then suggests for me to set it up through the Mail app.
Here we are.
