Why can't the Web console in FF9.01 not see extensions I've added to the Array class (object)?
I've added a number of new methods to the Array object in Javascript. My scripts see them fine, but the Web console reports them as 'undefined'. Apparently the console cannot see my changes. Why is that?
Not the same. It should be like the orange indicator for an imported clip in the camera import window. It's really quite sophisticated in iMovie. When you switch projects the orange line changes to reflect what's in the open project so a clip might have the orange indicator when one project is open in the timeline, and not when another project is open. It's a really useful tool, because it even shows what parts of a clip have been used in the open project.

I'm not aware of any version of Firefox from Fx 2 on up to Fx 6 where "AVG Safe" is not a problem. Crashes aren't the only failures caused.

How do I get the Web Console on top, in FireFox 21 Mac?
In Firefox 21, the Web Developer Web Console seems to be fixed to the bottom with no option to change it. In previous version of FF, there was an option to put it on the top of the window. The bottom is a bad place for the Web Console, especially for Mac users. For one, the status line is right above the command prompt when something is loading or I'm moused-over a link, so I can't type in the prompt. Also annoying as a Mac user, when I bring the mouse too close to the bottom of the window, to type in the console prompt, my dock pops up. Whenever I want to use the console prompt, I have to bring the window up an inch to keep my Mac OS dock from popping up.
I prefer relative inside positioning to a separate window getting in the way. You must assume that I already know what the Web Developer console is to basic extent; it's not a tip to point out an elaborate and separate option that is already known to all who are familiar with the console. Perhaps I didn't explain my problem correctly. I think I meant Web Developer Web Console "above" not "top", but yes "top" to CSS definition of top, including whatever it is called in GUI terms "above", but not like window above or top in layers.

Hi there I have been trying to help a friend work out why she hasn't been able to access itunes on her home computer for 3 months as it comes up with the following error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"
I have cleared her crache and dissabled firewalls still no luck. Then I tried logging in with my id and to our surprise it worked. So any assistance would be great. Please find the report below maybe you can help!

The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

Steps to extend the schema if I have no access to the web console

I am usin DS 6.2. The web console is not applicable in my case. So I must extend the schema manually.
I want to add an attribute type and an objectclass. I do have a test server and I did

any idea please?You can either use 2 "changetype:modify" operations (not changetype:add since you're trying to modify an existing entry), or you can stop you DS, then edit the 99user.ldif by hand and start it again .

Open the Web Console when a pop-up opens
Suppose I am working with a webpage and I have the console open.
Then, I click in an element, and the javascript code that handles the event decides to open a new window.
That window does not have the console open, so I miss some details of the http traffic, etc.
What I am doing now is to hit Ctrl+Shift+K as fast as I can, or use Fiddler.
But there must be a setting somewhere where I can say "Always open the console when a new window is open", Right?

Not a problem. You can open the Web Console by first going to Tools > Web Developer Tools > Web Console

Yes, new web-developer all-in-one tools are total mess.
I didn't find the answer to this question either https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/955612 but downgrade to Firefox 19.
But nor in Nightly, nor in Aurora, nor in Firefox Beta, nor in Firefox 20.0 I can use simultaneously web-console (where I test some style changing javascript code) and element inspector (where I instantly observe a reaction to my code). The only option I see is to switch every three seconds between them. How can I fix this except downgrading?You can consider to use the DOM Inspector extension instead of the built-in Inspector.

I just updated to 4.0.1 on my mac and now it says "Firefox is currently in offline mode and can't browse the web". It is not my internet since I am using Safari just fine. Any suggestions? I sure wish I wouldn't have updated!
Make sure that Work Offline is unchecked: File > [] Work Offline

I have an icloud account which I can access via the web but when I go to systems preferences and click on the icloud it sends me to the mobileme closed site?? How do I get it to go to my icloud log in?
You're saying that when you click on the iCloud preference pane button it sends you to the defunct MMe
rather than giving you this?
Is your profile up to date, i.e. are your running 10.7.5? Make sure you click on the iCloud button and not the MMe button.

Why can I print from my iPhone and not my iPad? I have been able to do it in the past. I have tried a hard reset but it still cannot find the printer.
In addition to rebooting the router and the iPad, I would reset the printer as well. Unplug the printer from power and do the same with the router. Leave the router unplugged for about 30 seconds. Plug the router in first and let it totally start up, plug the printer in again, and then reboot/reset the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. Your WiFi passwords, location services, device preferences all have to be re-entered. You will not lose any data or media whatsoever. -
How can I restore the web address page and not be directed to a search engine?
My address bar has disappeared. Whenever I want a new address and type it in I am diverted to a search engine which locates the address I have typed in. I cannot get to the preferences bar to make corrections.

After updating Friefox, why i can not see a chat option next to the online member on google chat?
I have updated my firefox and all the plugins. I can not see any chat option next to the online member on my chat list. if they send me message with chat i can not write them back but I can not start the chat.
OMG, i just figured it out, instead of spelling out the chat it shows a little square which symbolize the chat. Thanks for your help.

I need help to open serial console from Oracle VM Manager GUI.
I'm using the beta version 3.3 of Oracle VM Manager and the agent with Oracle VM Server 3.1 installed on a SPARC Enterprise T5240.
I created a virtual machine with the manager, but when i try to launch serial console i have the following message:
"Error 404: Page not found.
The ovmcore-console libraries were not found on the system.
Please install the correct ovmcore-console rpm suitable for your system on the Manager server.
See the Oracle VM Installation Guide for additional information."

We are still reviewing ovmcore-console package and have not made it public yet. Meanwhile, please use the following workaround to access the VM console:
You can redirect the remote port to local using the ssh(1) command.
1) From Oracle VM Manager UI, find out the UUID of the virtual machine. For example: 0004fb0000060000e98127266687b615.
2) Log into Oracle VM server (dom0), use xm list command to get the domain id. In this example, the domain id is 2. The VNC port number will be 59xx, starting with 5900.
# xm list -l 2 |grep 59
(location 127.0.0.1:5900)
3) From your own desktop, then you can execute the command in a local shell to redirect the port to your desktop:
$ ssh -L 12345:localhost:5900 -N -f root@OVS
4) The "5900" port will be redirected to "12345" of your local desktop, so that you can run the following command to connect the guest console:
$ vncviewer local:12345
5) For Windows, you can set up an ssh tunnel by using PuTTY for example.
