why cant i have my twitter timeline pushed to me like on android? This is really frustrating.

Mail box no 3 is on outlook - why cant i have all 3 on bigpond?

Ok have 2 accounts on pc both on bigpond via thunderbird.Bought a lap top for hubbie for his football mainly and he needed email so asked and it ended up on Outlook. All 3 are being paid off one account so why the different platforms?So is this mandatory 2 only on bigpond or what?And whynot have all on same platform on one account. Apart from that now need to keep IE instead of rolling it back so having to put up with all updates etc when if on bigpond using a good fast browser Waterfox and Thunderbird less clutter. Havetn used IE since Firefox started up. And IE has got weird anyway not better 8 was last version recognisable, 11 is a pain cant work out why they have 2 tabs for 1 etc. Clunky.

Unless I have missed something somewhere, you should still be able to setup your mail account on any mail client you wish irrespective of the mail server settings.

I know you can Facebook head bubble on android and Jailbreak to have on the home screen. It's just an easy feature to enhance the experience.

Thanks! I know they dont have the access, I just wish they did. Messenger just keeps evolving, they just pushed out another huge update today. I find myself using it often. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy being on messenger, just wish it was more alive in IOS. If they did iMessage bubble on the home screens and apps to fast reply, that would appease me, just something more than an app.

Why cant I have itunes on my Toshiba?

I cannot get itunes to open up on my Toshiba laptop. I have uninstalled and re-installed it, booted it and still nothing. The older version worked. I only have one message when I looked a little deeper, it said itunes was not compatible. It's frustrating when it just worked. Thanks!

Although I can't speak for diesel vdub, I share his/her frustartion when people seem unable to provide any useful information when wanting help.
The message "iTunes isn't compatible" appears to be incomplete. Incompatible with what? Which "older version" of iTunes?
According to your sign off in your first post, you're using Windows 7. Is that correct? Which version of iTunes are you trying to install, or is it installed but it's when you try to open it that you get the incompatible message? Which version did you have previously?
Specifically, can you confirm that you are not trying to use any version of Windows 8 please?

No! I'm absolutely against recruiters on here!
Forum rules are against multiple punctuation marks but I feel strongly about this so here are a few more: !!!!!!!!!
As you so rightly point out, there are a great deal of job sites out there, we don't need recruiters spamming these forums.
However - as Julius has graciously provided the link - I am all for a dedicated job forum (even willing to moderate it!) for the community. Recruiters and job boards only pick up a certain type of jobs, and there is a lot to be gained from a direct contact platform, so I am all for a dedicated non-agency forum.

My husband and I both use facebook. I used to be able to open one browser under his name then another under mine. Since i downloaded the new ff4 I can only get on one at a time and it signs me out of the other. How do I fix this!!!!!

If you go to System Preferences, Desktop & Screen Saver and change to a different image, does this behavior go away?

Why do I have to connect internet to view PDF files on Android tablet?

I keep getting a prompt that forces me to connect to the internet when I try to open PDFs on a Coby tablet at our monthly meeting. we do not have a wi-fi in our business for security reasons so this is causing us a problem. I turned off the check for updates and still forcing me to connect. Coby support directed me to Adobe support. How can I avoid this?

Are you trying to open LCRM (Live Cyle Rights Management) protected PDF files? Because only those PDF files require authentication over the network before opening. If not using LCRM protected then can you share your PDF file at [email protected], so that we could look into it.

Why do I have screen display distortion that look something like barcodes when my browser is open and I start using another application such as word or excel?

Seems that whenever I am connected to mozilla and my browser (yahoo) is active, I will open games, word or excel, one at a time or open more than one at a time, I get screen distortions that look like bar codes that make it impossible to read or distinguish the images on the screen. It happens very frequently. I have tried changing my screen settings and updating my graphics card software. Nothing seems to help. If mozilla is closed and I am not browsing, I do not have this problem.

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried your suggestions and for a moment it appeared to work. I opened multiple applications, several games and a word document all at the same time. While I opened the games, it appeared to be fixed, but when I opened the word document the distortion appeared. I checked for graphics display drivers but there are none.

Q. Why cant I have my Apple email name [@me.com} as my Apple ID?
Would like to move totally over to Apple but unable to change my Apple ID (currently @gmail.com). Created a iCloud account with @me.com account so it is the same as my Apple email address, but then my Address Book duplicates every entry because my iCloud and Apple ID are different. Yes, I have created a iCloud account using the same log in as my Apple ID and my Address Book is normal, but then im logging on using a @gmail.com name but emailing from a @me.com account.

There are a lot of users on here who do not want their email addresses out for public view...and a lot of users who prefer an alias instead of their names. Rather than have conflicts it is easier to just keep everyone's email id's private unless an individual wants to publish it in their profile.

I am back with an update. I turned off Match on both the ipad and the iphone 5. By doing so I was able to sync my Iphone and ipad to itunes and store the music on my devices rather than the slow streaming. So far this has fixed my problems with the iphone I have all my music, playlist, most of the album art and so on. But the ipad is a different story. I have the music and artist but not one playlist I am sure Apple will have an upgrade soon that will address these issues they are usually very good about this.
Now have any of you experienced another problem that has existed as long as I have used faces in Aperture.
I have over 200 faces and they are organized a-z problem is I have this going on A-Z folowed by a few that start over A-Z followed by another few A-Z and again a 4th time A-Z. Imagine how difficult it is while I am showing someone the great features of my iphone, ipad and imac. Which I do talk highly of all the time. But how do I explain that even though their name starts with a or b or what ever they are not important enough to me to be in the first list of A-Z or even the 2nd or 3rd list of A-Z someohow they are in the 4th section of the list!!!!
I have managed to get the Imac to fix this but for some reason the IOS devices do not. Any ideas?
