Why did my contacts change to people I don't know?
I picked up my phone to make a call and found that all of my contacts had been replaced with people I did not know. I tried to restore from my iCloud, but that just wiped out my contacts on the cloud. I ended up resetting my phone and importing from a back up. As soon as I did a sync, I had both contact lists. I ended up deleting the unknown contacts by hand and re-syncing. Now, Pandora keeps deleting my stations and putting in Spanish stations. I'm worried I may have been hacked or someone is piggybacking on my account. Any ideas? - Thanks.

Where are people getting my skype name from, because I keep getting requests for contact. Out of curiousity I added a contact, and in one day of corresponding (could not connect video, I worked out that it was the basis work of a scam.

Why did my contacts not download to new iphone, everything else did?
why did my contacts not download to my new iphone via itunes ? everything else did. with my favorites only numbers transferred not names.
For the Contacts (I'm waiting my new 5s) I'm using the free App "MyContactsBakup" (or MCBakup), it works just fine on my iPhone 4.
It works for pics too I guess. It is reliable, it process and send a file attached to a mail with all your contacts (pics, etc.). You open the attachment from your iPhone and add all the contacts again.
Easy and effective, I'm happy with this. -

Other person's contacts and pictures that I don't know?
I am rather bewildered by this - hoping somebody can help me out.
Last night I was trying to send a video and that led me to start messing around with iCloud. I have used it maybe once or twice before. I go in, can't remember the password so I change it. I don't know why, but after this I accidently sent the video to myself on my phone via text. As soon as that happened and I went into messages, all of my contacts in there, besides maybe 1 or 2 out of about 50, were gone. I went to the contacts tab on my phone and noticed that the majority of the contacts on the phone were not mine, and definitely someone else's. I clicked on a couple of the contacts and realized whoever's contacts these are they must live near by because it is an area code that is near me. I also went to the iCloud photos album on my computer and all of the pictures on there are of people that I have never seen before, and I am sure none of anyone in my phone's plan have seen before. I'm unsure whether this is just an iCloud screw up, the person breached my account, or I'm just messing something up.
This occurred last night and all of today I have been unable to send iMessages.
I have an iPhone 5s and ios7 if that helps at all. Any direction on what to do would be very appreciated! I don't even need iCloud, I just want to have my contacts, iMessage, and just to know what the heck is going on.Contact the Apple account security team (Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security) and have them take a look at your account. It sounds like either you are signed into someone else's iCloud account, or they are signed into yours. In either case, this is a security issue as your iCloud credentials should not be known by another user.

Start here, and reset your password, you will receive an email with your new password, then go to manage your account > Password and Security and change your security questions.

So I have an iphone and for some reason I don't know the password for my Apple ID so I can't download apps and I don't have the password to my email to change it and I don't know the secret questions , what can I do to make a new Apple ID ?
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -

Hey I finally got an older vesion of itunes to work!!! 10.7 x64 for windows 7
After uninstalling all apple products even quicktime
I had to delete everything from (program files, and program files x64, program data,)
And all downloads from apple, and I went in to search deleted other stuff from apple, and itunes
But definently not my itunes library and Playlist
Down loaded 10.7 x64 for windows 7, but checked (do not start when done)
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
I ran geek tech tool box same as reg cure pro, also PC Tools registry cleaner, and CC Cleaner
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
And wallah... It finally works, and I Love the older version anyways.
Easier to download and transfer music!!!!! -

The process can take several minutes...
Doubtful it's a virus. Malware could be an issue but ONLY if you click on any links provided in those emails. -
Why did the date change to september 21 when it is realy august 21?!?!
I tried cropping a picture and suddenly my phone turned off then turned back on by itself. When it turned back on i noticed the date changed to september! Why did this happen? And how can i change back the date?
This has occured on my iPhone 4 16GB three times this morning. Once at 8:15a, then at 10:30a, and just now at 12:00p today (all times are Central).

Turning the phone off and on does not fix the problem. Could be an issue with the date/time info when queried from the carrier. All three times I was on 3G and had a weak signal. Once the date changed, 3G was lost and then went to 2G (EDGE) and then 3G was restored. I am wondering if it will happen at 2:00p also.
