Why do digital downloads cost more in Canada? Our dollar is at parity with the United States, if not higher. There is no difference in digital delivery cost? This seems tremendously unfair.

Becasue the music industry/distributors have ony agreed to the current pricing. Apple cannot charge less than the owners of the distribution rights allow. Apple also is likely to incur different costs in each nation ( software licensing/taxes, diffeterent laws and regulations that may effect costs, etc.
Prices for most things are not exactly the same from store to store, city to city, country to country, etc.
If someone has told you that life is fair, then demand an apology from them.

Why does photoshop cc cost more than creative cloud photography plan?

I see that Photoshop cc costs $10 per month more than the photography plan, even though the plan includes photoshop cc. Are the applications different in the two plans?

The main difference in price between them is because Photoshop CC plan comes with 20GB of online storage space and inclusion Behance ProSite.

Why does double play cost more than triple play?

all I want to do is get rid of my phone service so I can stop throwing away $120 a year renting a modem. multiple reps confirmed that my package price will go up by switching from triple play to double play. I also asked what would happen if I purchased my own modem (without telephony) and was told I would be automatically downgraded to double play. I want less but to get less I have to pay more. Does anyone have any suggestions that could help?

thanks for the response. I have called and spoke with retention about 3x now. They told me I am already on a great promtional (not under contract) triple play bundle. I am okay with the price I guess but all I really want to do is purchase my own modem. I have already paid them over $240 the past 2 years which is a complete waste. The modem I want to get does not support telephony. I don't understand why I can't use a compatble modem and keep paying for the triple play and just not use the phone service.

It all depends on the digital rights management and the rules you have to follow. Most digital copies only allow the file to be on a singular comptuer and singular device at a time.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I am paying twice as much for twice as less. I don't have other choices of ISPs in my areas otherwise I'd leave immediately. I have had constant disconnections with Xfinity several service calls and no resolution. This is one of the worst ISPs I have ever had to deal with and they have the balls to charge a ridiculous price where as in other parts of the world they pay 15$ for 10x the speed I have.

I have never received a private message from you. Today is 8/11/15 and I am still having connectivity issues. Three technicians were sent to my home none resolved the issues. You people have failed the Comcast Guarantee and I have not received the 40$ that's part of that guarantee. I am having a similar problem with iTunes 11 on a Windows 7 box. I was able to rent and play HD movies befor "upgrading" to iTunes 11, however now when I try and rent a movie in HD I get the error: "This cannot be played in HD on this computer. You must rent and watch the HD version on an HD-compatible device. Or, you can rent the SD version and watch it on this computer."
Guess i'll be renting movies from XBox from now on.

Very frustrated that i cant take advantage of the double data promo for my family plan because I pay extra to be able to call out of country. I currently have the "More Every Canada/mexico 14Gb" plan and really wanted the 30gb option being offered,

Extremely disappointed with customer service. I spoke with a Chat representative and messed up my acct by changing it to a plan that is completely different, What is irritating is that I even confirmed the Plan/cost/promo that we talked about and she confirmed it effective for begging of next billing cycle. She stated it was approved by her supervisor. I log into my acct and a completely different change was made effective immediately(can/mex 20gb for $30 more than what I currently pay.. Now i have to call back next month to ask for difference of my actual plan cost and the random one I was put on. I can understand Verizon not letting those plans participate in a promo, but the time i wasted and will have to waste because of a chat representative is just unacceptable. CS response was just to cal back and ask for a credit.... great!

Among the alternatives not mentioned... Using a TiVo DVR, rather than the X1; a Roamio Plus or Pro would solve both the concern over the quality of the DVR, as well as providing the MoCA bridge capability the poster so desperately wanted the X1 DVR to provide. (Although the TiVo's support only MoCA 1.1.) Just get a third-party MoCA adapter for the distant location. Why the hang-up on having a device provided by Comcast? This seems especially ironic given the opinions expressed regarding payments over time to Comcast. If a MoCA 2.0 bridge was the requirement, they don't exist outside providers. So couldn't the poster have simply requested a replacement XB3 from the local office and configured it down to only providing MoCA bridging -- and perhaps as a wireless access point? Comcast would bill him the monthly rate for the extra device, but such is the state of MoCA 2.0. Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

You can buy ONLY from the itunes store of your country of residence ( as proven by the valid billing address in your credit card) AND ONLY while inside the borders of that country.
You would have to buy it elsewhere - Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc.

Can I download Blu-ray digital copies to more than one iTunes library?

I downloaded the digital copy of Paranormal Activity from the provided disc to itunes. After it finished downloading I rightclicked and selected Get Info. It says "Fairplay Version 3" What does this mean? Does this mean I can download this movie more than one time?
Also, if I can downloaded it more than once can I also downloaded it on my wife's laptop under her itunes account or is the code connected just to my account now.

That's the current Apple DRM for videos.
If your wife's laptop is on the same account as yours just copy the download to her machine.
You can run the movie on any 5 authorized machines but you can't download it again from iTunes.

Why are you trying to force us into new plans that cost more and offer less?

My wife and I are long term customers on a grandfathered Family Share Plan (2 lines with unlimited data, 1000 texts each, and 500 shared minutes). Now that my children are getting older I am ready to get them their own mobile phones; however, you won't allow me to add them to our existing plan (even if those new lines do not include a data package). As recently as a few months ago I could have added a new line (talk only) for $9.99 per month. After an hour of discussion with your loyalty-program service rep, the only options offered to me were 1) give up the old plan and have all of us forced into a new one that will cost more while offering us significantly less, or 2) keep the existing plan for my wife and me and start a new "family" plan for my children (which,again, will be more expensive while offering less). It would be much more convenient for all of us to be on the same plan with the same provider, but you are not allowing that to happen. Your customer service representative acknowledged multiple times that I have been a long term loyal customer -- but if you don't reciprocate that loyalty then I also am a misguided fool who is allowing you to take advantage of me. So now I will have to start investigating mobile service alternatives for my children; given the lack of loyalty that you have shown me thus far, l guess it's time to see what your competitors have to offer.

I could do the same. I believe you had possibly an older plan than what I had that allowed more than 3 lines. I remember specifically being kicked back an error and telling me to move to the 1400 minute plan as that was the only one that support 3 or more lines.
Too bad I don't have screenshots of it. I purge my screenshots when making changes to anything on line for verification.
