Why do i get a Script Alert?

I created an action to prepare and resize images for a Power Point presentation.
I use the Image Processor... to do a bulk conversion, but get a Script Alert, "Sorry, i could not process the following files".
How ever, the files have been processed and put in my selected location.
The "Alert" is therefor erroneous. Is this a bug in the latest update?

Nobody can know. You have not provided any system information, details about your files, their locations, what your actions do and a gigazillion other things. That being said, there could be equally a gigazillion things triggering such alerts like files being blocked by virus scanners or whatever or simple performance issues on your storage devices causing so much delay that the script wrongly thinks that something didn't work.

Same error message, I disabled tab mix and made sure I only have the newest version of Java, restarted firefox, now it seems to be fine no error yet on Pogo games or pictures upload to ebay which were the biggest problems besides hanging. I had also had disabled AVG secure search yesterday but that did not solve the issue. Now I will try to add back in AVG search...I have very few adds ons, also the note embedded about re- installing a toolbar went away, my old one did not work with FF4, so I installed Yahoo toolbar but the message still did not go away until I applied this fix. Why did I get an Emergency Alert for the Nemo Blizzard at 4 am?

This @^%^!*#*!&!@ system just sent a blaring alert to my iPhone at 4 am EST warning me about a blizzard I already knew about, literally scaring me out of bed. Now, after some middle-of-the-night research, I understand it's the FEMA IPAWS system (http://www.fema.gov/integrated-public-alert-warning-system). What bureaucratic knucklehead at FEMA decided that we needed this alert at 4 am?
I wonder how many thousands of other iPhone users who didn't even know they had the Emergency Alerts feature are wondering why they've been jostled awake this morning... and have turned the feature off as a result. (Settings==>Notifications==>Government Alerts)
How impossibly stupid can FEMA be? Sending the message at 8 pm last night would have been amusing (there were already 6 inches on the ground, and everyone had been talking about the storm for 2 days). Now I want to rip someone's lungs out...

Actually, I also got a FEMA warning via the same system on Thursday night, which was completely appropriate. But sending an alert with a klaxon-like sound effect at 4 am is just ponderously dumb. It's not like it's a flood where I might need to evacuate. I'M AT HOME ASLEEP like the thousands of others who were jolted awake by this ill-timed alert.
It reminds me of when AT&T used to wake me at 7 am on Saturday mornings because their big overnight mainframe batch program had completed at 6 am and immediately sent out a notice that I was 60% through my hours for the month. Nice message, dumb timing.
Big organizations like FEMA and AT&T should be capable of assessing the time-criticality of their broadcast messages, and schedule them appropriately. Who at FEMA decided that it was critical to issue a warning in the middle of the night?!?!

Why am I getting double popup alerts for Google Calendar events on iPhone?

This is happening on both mine and my wife's iPhones (mine is a 4 and hers is a 3GS) which are both on the latest iOS (6.0.1). This is what I've figured out:
On iPhones: Default is to set no alerts/reminder for calendar events
On Google Calendar: Default is to set a popup alert 1 hour before event & email 1 hour before event
When I create a new event on my iPhone: It saves with no alerts set, then after uploading to google calendar it shows as having two alerts 1 hour before the event. If I go into Google Calendar, it shows that 1 popup and 1 email are each set for 1 hour before the event.
When I create a new event on in Google Calendar: It saves with 1 popup and 1 email are each set for 1 hour before the event per the default settings. If I go to my iPhone, it shows that I have 2 alerts, both for 1 hour before the event.
So it seems that the iPhone is seeing both the popup and email alerts and creating two popup alerts on my phone!
Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried setting up the calendar on my iPhone through Gmail account, Exchange account and CalDav account and it's all the same.

I figured it out. It has to do with which calendars you want displayed. Duplications come from multiple calender selections.

Uploaded 2.0 now get Java script alert when trying to read e-books in Kobo app

I bought my tablet when I found out that the Kindle Fire was unavailable in Canada. I was looking for more than just an e-reader. I loved my tablet prior to the recent update. Now I cannot read my books using the Kobo app without constantly acknowledging the JavaScript Alert every time I want to turn a page. Can anyone help with this? Is there a fix out there? I have deleted the app and reloaded it to no avail. If I had know this was a problem I would never have updated my tablet.

I got the solution, there was a Invalid char in SOAP response message, i stored the SOAP res msg to a file, parsed that file to remove the invalid char , ans used the soap msg from the file,
it worked perfectly fo me

Script Alert: "Sorry I could not process the following files" (Error Message using Image Processor)

I'm a seasoned Photoshop/Bridge CS5 user who recently upgraded to CS6. In Bridge I just ran my first Image Processor batch, trying to convert a set of RAW .NEF files to .PSD files with a basic editing action I created applied to them. Photoshop CS6 opens the files from Bridge and applies the actions, but then I get the "Script alert" error message "Sorry I could not process the following files" and a list of all of the files in the batch I was trying to run the script on. The files all remain open and are saved on my hard drive in a folder created by the Image Processor script, but do not close unless I manually close them. I never had this problem in CS5 where the image processor would apply the desired actions to the batch of photos one at a time, then save and close. Thoughts on how I can fix this bug?

No specific action steps to make the image safe - no flattening, etc. Had problems narrowing down the specific action step causing the problem. So I ran the Image Processor script in the ExtendScript ToolKit and debugged in. (I'm using the version that shipped with CS4.)
Turns out what was happening is that the app.activeDocument.close() command on line 1490 was never getting called, because the this.SaveFile() above it was throwing an exception. More debugging got me to the problem - SaveFile() tries to restore the history state after making a doc safe for saving as a JPEG. This causes an exception. So I commented out line 1571:
// app.activeDocument.ativeHistoryState = historyState;
The script runs just fine after this. I commented out the close to see what history states got added to the doc, but no new states are recorded, so commenting out the restore line should not cause any problems.
Of course, my solution does not solve the problem and I may need to comment out all the saveFile() lines that does this. Not sure why some actions have this problem and others don't. The actions I am running have about 25 steps. Perhaps PS is not catching up quick enough. I added a $.sleep(2500) after the restore history but that didn't help.
So, not sure where this gets us. I will check about posting an action set with just one of the actions that cause the problem. But I may also have our customer comment out that line of the Image Processor script.

Script Alert "You should only run scripts from a trusted source."

I created a small javascript which opens Photoshop and resizes some images.
I want to be able to double-click the .JSX file from Windows Explorer, and have Photoshop execute the script. Likewise, I want to be able to run the .JSX file from the command line.
The script runs perfectly. However, the problem is that I don't want any user interaction. I want to be able to run the script from the command line without the user having to click anything. What happens now when I try to run the file from Windows Explorer of the command line is, I get a Script Alert with the following text:
You are about to run a script in Adobe Photoshop CS3. You should only run scripts from a trusted source. Do you want to run the script? Yes/No
Is there any possible way to bypass this message or to answer in the affirmative?

My bad. "The /users/<user_name>/documents/Adobe Scripts" folder is working for this purpose for me. I needed a path to it and forgot that the ~ resolves to the current user. Sweet.

Script alert error

I am using SC5 on a windows machine with XP operating system. I have recently started getting a script alert that stops the process of copying files as follows.
In bridge I have made some adjustments in Camera Raw. I slect a number of files I want to copy with the changes in Camera Raw. Under the Tools menu I choose Photoshop - Image processor. I make the slections I want (typically saving as JPEGs and in the same location with no actions). It starts out Ok but then stops with a pop-up stating

It will sometime write the first 15-20 files but not the remaining files. I have purged my Cashe but it does not seem to help
Any ideas?

Names are Ok. I believe it has something to do with the way my computer is handling my memory. If I only slect 15-20 files it seems to work fine (though a lot slower than before). If I slect 200 files it stops after processing 20 or so files? In the past I never had this problem before. I have also checked my hard drives and have plenty of space left.

Weird Script Alert message

Using PS CS3, I opened a few JPG images taken with a Nikon D100 a few years ago. I copy/pasted one image on top of another, flattened it and saved as a PSD. Later on, when I double-click on the PSD, PS opens and I get a script alert:
"Nikon Corp, Nikon D100, was used to shoot this file!"
Well, yes and no. The original JPEGs were of course shot with the D100, but the PSD certainly was not.
So, if I leave PS open, close the file and double-click it again, the same message does not appear. But if I close PS and then repeat the above, the message re-appears. Which leaves me with two questions:
1. What's the point of this misleading message?
2. How do I get rid of it, permanently?

My first guess is that you might have an event setup in:-
File - Scripts - Scripts Event Manager
There is a script in there that does give model and make, maybe someone has modified it so that it only alert on a certain type/make?

What is the "Timeframe" area?
A clip in an Event, or a whole Event has lost track of it's originals.
Did you delete anything in an Event that you were using in a Timeilne?
